Kacaji saw Tsubasa hit the snake with a palm strike to its side.  Once the snake froze, Kacaji was told by Tobi through a hand sign to move in.  Kacaji stood up very suddenly and bolted toward the snake. Tsubasa pulled out his curved sword and swung down as he passed over the snake.  The blade, however, did not penetrate the scale armor of the snake.  The health bar was not affected and all he could do now was watch to see if Tsubasa would hit or miss the snake that sat there on the ground stunned.

Tsubasa, noticing that the glancing hit of Anbu's curved sword did not penetrate the snake scale armor, activated his aggressive twins sword art.  Tsubasa jumped forward towards the snake and struck the reptile with two blurry consecutive snake strikes.  The snake's hit bar dropped down immensely.  Tsubasa then moved back away, in order to dodge the bite from the snake.  "Go again, but this time swing your hardest upon the serpent.  This time you should have it for sure".  Tobi stated this with more certainty than before.

Kacaji had turned around very surprised with how tough the armor actually was.  This was his first time fighting a monster with any sort of natural armor, being that the nepents did not have any on his journey with Zeri.  Anbu moved back toward the enemy with his blade is his right hand and stuck down as hard as he thought he could.  The blade just slipped off of the scales and struck the ground.  Anbu lifted the blade out from the ground and stood a few feet away from the serpent.  He thought to himself, "this is going to be a lot harder than I had thought it would be..."

Tsubasa saw the boy miss and then became worried.  He knew that he would take the hits for the fighting, but he did not know whether or not to finish off the snake himself.  His instincts immediately kicked in and he ran directly at the snake.  Tsubasa activated the sword art *embracer* and swung at the snake with his palm.  To his recklessness, the snake dodged the easily predictable attack and bite into his arm.  However the thorns extended from the snake cloak and punctured the armor completely through.  The snake hung on the thorn jutting out of Tsubasa's cloak, right out of his upper arm.  Tsubasa stood surprised after the snake died, but then looked over to Anbu and put his right thumb up.  That was the only way Tobi could express his current emotion, hidden deep inside his soul.

Kacaji was very disappointed in his ability, but he did not display such emotion.  He just stood where he was, looking at the dead snake hanging from Tsubasa's arm.  "What did I do wrong?  Why did the attack not penetrate the armor, especially the natural armor of a snake?   I guess I just need to get better as I progress in this world".  Kacaji realized that they still needed to get to the third floor, and then from there travel to the forest which was deeper within the floor.  "well lets continue going up to the next floor so we can kill that Dark elf and get the materials to finish the quest." said Anbu without any feelings or emotions detectable.

Tsubasa, when he heard what kacaji said, remembered that they did need to get on to the next floor up.  Tobi brushed off the snake from his thorn jutting out of his arm, and the thorn began to retract back inside his cloak.  The wraps slowly changed from the dark green illumination to the light green illumination.  Tobi covered his wound with some tall grass, and using some of his more advanced techniques, stopped the bleeding from his arm and legs completely.  As he began to lead the way to the next floor, he noticed that a small plant was on the ground near to the small rock which Anbu had sat on.  Tobi, fast as a flash, returned behind Anbu with a plant in his hands.  He then proceeded to place it in his inventory for later.

Kacaji started to walk away, but felt a sudden gust of wind behind him.  Anbu knew it was Tobi, but the amount of time it would have taken him to leave and come back didn't seem right.  Anbu began walking towards the next floor, for it was about noon, where the sun hung right above the two of them.... Anbu then, still facing the direction he was walking, asks Tobi, "So, do you think we should fight anything else on this floor, or do you want to wait until we reach the next floor level?"  Anbu needed to kill a few enemies in order to earn enough col for some armor, as well as finish this quest to get him yet another piece of armor.  Personally, Anbu also wanted a better weapon, specifically a katana, but that was just wishful thinking, which could distract him from some of his current goals at the moment.  He made sure he was still on track with his goal by scouting around small detours to try to find any other materials around, which he found none from his swift search.

Tsubasa heard Anbu ask the question if they should fight any more mobs on this floor... Then he noticed Anbu do a quick scope of the surrounding.  Tobi did not see anything out of the ordinary and began talking, "I think we will find enough mobs on the next floor to fight that we won't have to worry about any, if by chance we do stumble across any, targeting us.  Besides, the closer we get to thos woods, the faster we will lkely be able to enter the forest of wavering mist.  I've done this quest before with acquaintance, and it was quite fun since the dang elf missed every time.  However, I led him to believe that he died in honor, which I kept a secret from my acquaintance to this day.  The Elf will have the material we are looking for when we fight it, I am almost sure of it..."  Tobi finished his statement and made sure his health and energy bars had regenerated completely.  "It seems as though we are getting close to entering the third floor, see you on the other side." says Tobi directed towards Anbu.

When he listened to Tobi, the information seemed to make logical sense, which helped Anbu think.  Anbu realized that they were getting close to entering the third floor, and decided to go for it.  Upon entering the third floor, Anbu looked around to see if there were any plants lying about.  To his dismay, there were no obvious plants in the surrounding third of a mile radius that he could see.  The Forest was a little distance from where he and Tsubasa stood at that moment.  "well unless you spot anything worth keeping, I say we go and enter the woods and fight whatever we find... except you will still have to take the hits because I am not yet ready for battling a floor level three monster."   Anbu waited to see if Tobi had found anything worth while around them.

Tobi entered the third floor with Anbu and appeared a small distance away from the forest which seemed to be the forest of wavering mist.  Tobi had been here once before and really liked the thick canopy above the trunks of the trees.  Tobi then searched his left and right rather quickly and did not notice any materials growing or lying about.  Tobi kept his face towards the forest when he says, "Let us go around the thick part of the forest until we either find a clearing to enter, or we fight something surprising.  Does that sound good to you, Anbu?"  Tobi knew that he would need to get the most hate in order to keep Anbu safe from harm.  "you might as well prepare your weapon..."

Anbu began to walk forward through the seemingly well cut green grass as he made his way towards the forest.  As he walked downwards from the small sloped hill they had been standing upon, kacaji thought he saw something out of the corner of his left eye.  "Tobi, I think there is something hiding behind the forest line as well as deeper within..."  Anbu seemed ready for action but then he realized, "Are we still doing the same kind of battle tactic as last time?  I could refrain from striking it while you take down its health to a rather low red on the health bar."  Anbu was alright with the idea of Tobi finishing off the threat.

Tsubasa realized what Anbu was talking about... "yeah sure, I think that method is a really good one.  You..." Tobi saw the thing enter the side of his eyesight, only to strike at his arm.  The mob monkey, large enough to tackle Tsubasa with ease appeared right next to Tobi as he made these comments.  The monkey struck its paw like arm at Tsubasa, hitting the snake wound on his upper arm.  Tsubasa tried to strike back but swung wildly and amazingly missed every time.  The monkey was to agile for Tobi to land any of his strikes.  Tobi moved back from where he had been standing and tried to get into his snake stance.  "Go look for materials until I give the signal." said Tobi directed toward Anbu.

While Anbu listened to Tobi, he realized that the creature had advanced upon them.  He was not caught off guard, but he was surprised by the speed of the animal.  When he figured out that the creature was a gigantic monkey, Anbu just stood where he was.   Tobi got hit in the right arm, in the exact same place as the snake bite from earlier on floor two.  Anbu didn't even need to listen to the rest of what Tobi said because he already knew exactly what to do next...  wait for the sign.  Anbu ran a little distance away in search of any material items.  While running to the location, he found no forms of materials lying about... Anbu thought to himself, "this must be a material dead zone, nothing here at all..." Anbu reached the spot where he would stop and double check on Tobi.

Tobi got into his snake stance a few feet away from the monkey.  Tobi decided a sword art was not needed yet, and therefore did not activate any of them.  Tobi rushed forward with his arms extended to both sides of his body.  As he got close to the monkey he struck out with his right arm and struck at the spinal cord.  The monkey tried hitting Tobi, but Tobi easily moved out of the way.  Tobi stepped a few feet back again to think about his strategy.

Kacaji, after double checking to make sure that Tobi was not needing assistance, ran in a straight path to the exact opposite side of the fight, without crossing between Tobi and the monkey.  Upon reaching the other side, Kacaji began looking in the slim cut grass for any different plant life.  The wind was giving a small but lively breeze to the hilltop.  Anbu did not feel like resting, but was fully determined to find something before the fight would end.  Anbu then gave up on this specific area of cut grass and began moving on to the next are along the circle.  In the middle of the circle was Tobi and the monkey, fighting away their differences.

Tobi thought quickly about his strategy and decided to use a sword art if the monkey were to become damaged by the thorns from his cloak.  Swiftly running back into the heat of battle with the monkey, Tobi was his in his darn upper arm again by the monkey.  When he noticed the thorns eject from his cloak, Tobi activated his sword art *aggressive twins* and struck multiple blurry snake like strikes at the beast.  The monkey was stuck to the cloak from the thorns and could not removed itself in time.  The blurry strikes highly damaged the beast, and Tobi then signalled with his left arm, which was not holding the monkey with thorns, requesting back up.  If Anbu were to miss, Tobi planned to hit.  Otherwise Tobi would refrain from attacking.

Anbu noticed the hand sign from Tobi right as he thought he had found his first item.  Kacaji gave up on his hopeful thinking and ran back toward tobi.  Anbu quickened his pace and reached the battle zone.  The monkey was attached to a giant thorn sticking out of Tobi's cloak.  Anbu pulled his sword... or thought he pulled his sword out of the sheath behind his back.  He swung with full force towards the monkeys head only to find that he held was a small stick.  Anbu, without saying a thing, backs up slightly and draws his curved sword from the sheath and makes a sturdy stance facing the enemy with his friends eye locked on the monkey.

Tobi noticed that Anbu had grabbed a stick which had caught beside the sheath when they had begun the quest journey.  Tobi knew that he would have to strike the monkey in order to limit it's hit bar low enough.  Tobi moved in for the strike, but the awkward position made this nearly impossible.  The monkey moved around as much as it could, resulting in the cloak ejecting a second thorn when its arm made contact with Tobi's hand.  The thorn penetrated into the arm of the monkey, causing it to bleed out until it died.  Tobi, yet again stood breathless as the plan failed for the second time in a row.  Tobi looked at Anbu and gave yet another thumbs up.  The day was going rather terribly on this floor.

Kacaji was ready to strike again but this time he would have his sword in hand.  Before he could begin rushing the monkey, Tobi tried to strike the beast.  However, this attack backfired when then monkey struggled, hitting Tobi's arm.  When the monkey's arm made contact with Tobi's hand strike, the cloak sent another thorn, piercing through the monkey's arm.  The monkey went limb and pixilated into many blue, shinny pieces.  Anbu saw this and stood completely still.  Tobi gave him the thumb's up which meant they could begin their actual mission soon.  Anbu re-sheathed his sword on his back and returned to the area in which he thought he had seen a material.  When he moved over to that area, he could no longer find the material piece.

Tobi watched as Anbu waked back to where he had originally been before he had signaled him to return to the battle.  Tobi decided to take a quick sit where he stood to refresh himself with a bottle of water.  Tobi took a quick break to search the surrounding are for materials, in which he found absolutely nothing.  He drank most of the bottle, almost immediately acknowledging that he was dehydrated from the many battles he had partaken in recently.  Tobi, once he finished the water and the bottle pixilated, stood and began walking towards Anbu.  "You about ready to start a battle with the darn dark elf?  I think this will be a great way to end our adventure and a mission together... sound logical?" asked Tobi to Anbu
