Sierra 0 Posted March 6, 2016 #1 Share Posted March 6, 2016 The day was quite bright as the first floor often had been and here she was looking around in search of people to assist her in the slaughter of a few monsters. This was after all an multi player role playing game and she hadn't been enjoying herself fully as she only recently managed to quip her own simple sword. "I just need to search around for individual who are willing to help fight." She sighed now rubbing her fingers against her chin before grumbling. "I wish people would stop assuming that I'm a liability jsut because of my disability. I could show them how to handle themselves."
Nori 0 Posted March 6, 2016 #2 Share Posted March 6, 2016 Nori had looked around, wanting to train, and then she saw a player slaughtering monsters. She was bored, and alone at the time. Mabye I should ask if she needs help, I am pretty bored. I mumbled. Then, I got the courage to go up to the player. She lightly tapped the players shoulder.
Hakai 0 Posted March 6, 2016 #3 Share Posted March 6, 2016 Who better to start with than someone with a disability... Hakai thought to herself as she observed the purple haired young woman, standing around as though she was searching for something. Hakai had already taken note of the missing hand, and felt as though she might be a good person to attempt to persuade to join her cause. Hakai wouldnt force her of course. That wasnt what she wanted at all. She wanted loyal players who wanted to join her, not unwilling ones who might betray her. Those that stayed with her and did as she asked would be rewarded. Sierra 0 Posted March 6, 2016 Author #4 Share Posted March 6, 2016 As she wandered forward a bit dazed she blinked and turned around now as she sat back till another girl had for some reason tapped her on the shoulder. "Sorry but I am quite busy and can't worry myself with other newbies at this moment I need to get stronger so that I can prove to everyone that I am someone to be reckoned with." She smiled before patting her head and continuing on through the city now as she practically blew her off a semi polite fashion.
Hakai 0 Posted March 6, 2016 #5 Share Posted March 6, 2016 It was certainly a strange situation, being stuck in a game with only one arm. Hakai could only imagine how it felt to be at such a disadvantage. What if she was a tank, and was stuck not being able to use a shield? That would be terrible. Her options were limited quite a bit. Hakai couldn't imagine not being able to use her precious claws.... She walked forwards, her short white and red hair blowing in the wind as she approached. "Hehe." She let out a little laugh. "Girl, with an attitude like that you wont be going anywhere. This is the sort of game where you need allies to help you become powerful." She said warmly, her smile matching her tone of voice. She stepped in front of the other girl, effectively blocking her from the conversation.
Sierra 0 Posted March 6, 2016 Author #6 Share Posted March 6, 2016 Having been a kendo specialist she had her eyes set upon a katana, but she also was intrigued by the art of fencing as a child and was willing to cope with either play style for now. She sighed before Hearing another voice and stopping in her tracks a bit taken back from the attitude that had just rebuked her own. "I umm sorry but who are you?" A brow now raised as she looked over the girl who seemed far more up front and welcoming then herself. "I know that strong allies would help but right at this moment I am still uncertain if I will know someone strong enough to join up with just by looking at them." She spoke before now sizing her up with a rather ominous glare. "What are you doing here?"
Hakai 0 Posted March 6, 2016 #7 Share Posted March 6, 2016 Hakai smirked, she couldn't help it. Such naivety... She supposed that that was to be expected from a hypocrite like this player. "I'm Hakai, best strategist and build creator in Aincrad." She said, her smile returning. "And if you dont know if you'll know how strong someone is by their looks, why did you send that other player off, calling them a noob without so much as asking their level?" She queried, and eyebrow raised, but her warm smile still instact on her face, a welcoming twinkle in her eyes.
Sierra 0 Posted March 6, 2016 Author #8 Share Posted March 6, 2016 "Oh? Then perhaps I could ask you to assist me as I continues playing this game." She actually offered a smile to the girl before now wandering over to her, "I'm still a bit knew to this game and I find it ... sorta impossible to read this menu any any of the help tutorials that they have. "I just wasn't expecting much from her personality is all, you on the other hand seem like you could handle yourself. Although, I must admit I'm still in a snag when it comes to this game." Her voice returning from the rather cold to a slight quiver in it as she murmured I can't read ... And I sorta need someone to help in that department." She frowned.
Hakai 0 Posted March 6, 2016 #9 Share Posted March 6, 2016 Hakai raised an eyebrow. The young woman couldn't read? That was certainly a problem. How could she understand the game mechanics if she couldnt read skill descriptions or quest objectives? There was so much that could be exploited here, but also so much that she would need to be depended on for. "I'll help you out as best I can, dont worry about that. Nothing we can do immediately about the reading part, so lets talk about builds. What do you want to go for?" She asked. She quickly interjected, speaking to Sierra as she would anyone. "If you want to be a tank you're gonna have to kiss that dream goodbye. It would probably slide right off your arm there unless you got it custom made." She explained, not a hint of any sort of malice in her voice. "That leave DPS, the damage deal, or support, the healers and the like."
Sierra 0 Posted March 6, 2016 Author #10 Share Posted March 6, 2016 "I was personally hoping to be a heavy hitting damage dealer so I guess dps, unless you really are seeking aid in another category as I'm also looking for a group. Although, I must admit It's best to get to know someone over dinner as you are able to tell a lot about people by the way they act and eat in a restaurant. Just to test your character a bit nothing serious," She stated still a bit emotionless before no looking toward planning on figuring out a good role. "In the real world I already was practicing so it shouldn't be that much hard so long as I stat right. The name is Sierra ... and yours?"
Hakai 0 Posted March 6, 2016 #11 Share Posted March 6, 2016 Hakai nodded as the woman spoke. "Well, that works out then. As it happens, the weapons in this game that deal the most damage are surprisingly one handed. That would be the dagger and the whip. I'd recommend the whip." She said, smiling. The woman probably had chosen a straight sword or the like, not understanding the potential sword arts the other weapons could have. "I'm Hakai, and as it happens, ive been looking into starting a little group of adventurers." She explained, her voice filled with excitement and the sound of someone looking forward to things to come. She reached out and gripped the other woman's hand gently, leading her towards a nearby tavern.
Sierra 0 Posted March 6, 2016 Author #12 Share Posted March 6, 2016 Seirra listened to this advice before frowning hearing that the whip and dagger were her best options her eyes now peering back to her sword that she had equipped upon her back for easy reach. "I think I will stick with my sword or I guess a dagger instead," She stated plainly now peeking back over toward the new acquaintance. "You are?" The woman questioned before now stopping dead in her tracks no longer planning on leaving to any particular direction. "I suppose depending on your plans I could be willing t-" At that she now felt her own hand being gripped and pulled along half voluntarily as she was rushed through the crowd toward the inn. "H-hey where are we going I was going to be asking you about this little group you are planning?"
Hakai 0 Posted March 6, 2016 #13 Share Posted March 6, 2016 "I'll tell you at the tavern!" She called out behind her to the purple haired woman. She would have preffered a support, but DPS's were just as useful. A tank would have been nice as well, although they had already pretty much ruled that out. They reached the tavern within moments, it having been only a few shops up. She entered and sat down at a table, releasing her grip on the woman's hand. "So, you want me to explain how my guild will be?" She asked, raising an eyebrow as she waited for a waiter to come over and ask them for their order.
Sierra 0 Posted March 6, 2016 Author #14 Share Posted March 6, 2016 As she was pulled along and told that they were going to the tavern she began to ponder what the purpose of this was exactly. "I-I don't really know why we would need to be at the tavern to talk?" She plainly spoke now wondering if this was really a good plan to continue with this girl at least she seemed to be nice. She sat down opposite of her and nodded, "Well yes I would prefer to know what I'm signing up for but I suppose if you are the leader I can trust you." How about we start off with eating first though. She murmured softly as she wondered how this could be.
Hakai 0 Posted March 6, 2016 #15 Share Posted March 6, 2016 Hakai waved the waiter over. "Can we get a mug of ale each?" She ordered, ordering for her new acquaintance. "And I'd like the house special, the broth please." She turned back to Sierra, waiting for her to order her own food before speaking. "Well, to start off, I need to understand what you know." She paused again. "Have you heard of a certain guild, known as Azure Brigade?" She asked softly, trying not to draw attention to them.
Sierra 0 Posted March 6, 2016 Author #16 Share Posted March 6, 2016 Sierra heard about the ale she wasn't the biggest drinker but it would have been rude to stop her order nodding as she then said. "I would like the pasts please and a salad." She nodded sitting across from her hand arm now resting upon the the table. "Azure Brigade? Of course, who hasn't heard about them they are the largest guild in the game from what I have heard are we gonna try and get on their good side because if you are the same level as me then we will have some trouble." She sighed looking down relatively depressed as she was envious of the people who were already in a group.
Hakai 0 Posted March 6, 2016 #17 Share Posted March 6, 2016 Hakai's face went deadly serious. She had expected her to have at least heard about them, but this was something that she was passionate about. "They aren't the good people that you think they are, and they arent the largest either. Their elitists, hoarding the best equipment, and the majority of the unique skills to themselves. Only the weak try to get on good terms with them. They prevent people like us from getting stronger, because their afraid that we'll surpass them." She said passionately. "My guild will be different. Our goal wont be to help the weak, but we wont hinder them either. It will be a collection of people, brought together to end AB's tyranny and give everyone the freedom that they deserve." Sierra 0 Posted March 6, 2016 Author #18 Share Posted March 6, 2016 Sierra's eyes lit up a bit startled as she now reached across clamping her hand over the girl's mouth a bit startled, "S-shh!" She stated a bit shocked that someone was so passionately against them. "You don't want to go blabbing that so loudly and getting on their bad side now do you?" This was strange this one happy go lucky girl now was speaking about the strongest people with a deadly passion causing her to be a bit nervous which was odd for the callous girl. "How about we just eat and go to an inn afterwards, I know that those rooms are sound tight at least so you can ... well be more vocal about all of this I guess? Sounds ok?" Hakai 0 Posted March 6, 2016 #19 Share Posted March 6, 2016 Hakai raised an eyebrow, gently removing the other girls hand. "Dont worry about it. Plenty of people feel the same way. As long as we dont go shouting about how we're going to kill Azure Brigade and how their total skrub loards no one will do anything. We might even get allies." She explained as the NPC waiter made his way over to them and set their drinks and food down in front of them.
Sierra 0 Posted March 6, 2016 Author #20 Share Posted March 6, 2016 As the waiter arrived she blinked as her own hand was removed and then explained that more people had apparently disliked Azure. "I-I just don't know if that is a safe idea after all this is rather ambitious to try and compete?" She said now taking her fork in her hand and skewering the pasta as it was shoveled into her mouth. She smiled happily having not really eaten much outside of the occasional sandwich before stopping. "W-wait are you paying for this ... c-cuz I don't really have the money for this ..." She frowned and looked over hoping that she wasn't the type to use this as a strategic advantage as she would be partially indebted.
