About: History/personality

Jonas was born in Germany, his hometown was not much bigger than a village. Living on his family's farm his live as childhood was quite adveturous. With living in a small village, he hadn't had much friends, but the ones he had where good ones. Als Childreen they often went into the near forrest, fighting with sticks and playing Knights and bandits. Besides the playing and gooing to School he had to help on the farm, looking for the sheep and all the other animals. Learning from his father how beautiful nature was, he grew up with the Knowledge about animals, plants and the life in nature.

When Jonas was 13 years old, he and his Family moved away from where he lived so far. Their new home should be Scottland, as the Family had friends and relatives living in Scottland and an great uncle dying, having a house free for the Family. Jonas wasn't happy about leaving, because he never was good in communicating with People. Now he had to find new friends and for making it even worse, they would not even know the same language as he did.

After lifing in Scottland for around a year he was fluent in English and even in the much more difficult language od gaelic, which is spoken in Scottland or Alba as it is in gaelic. Jonas' parents were amazed, as they recognised how good he was in learning languages. There was no School where he lived, so he went to a Boarding School, near Inverness. With not having friends for the moment, his Talent for languages and his interest in medival swordart and battletactics he decided to join the Schools club of traditions. There he learned about traditional food and cloths, Festivals like the highlandgames and they even had some training in fighting with sword, shield and battleaxe. His time at School went well and he found himself some friends from the Club. With his ability to learn languages quickly and mostly without really trying he got some good grades and left School with 17 and his advanced higher education. With his interest in history he decided to study, but before he would do that, he wanted to get some more training in medival swordfights and so he joined a Group of Fantasy and history fans to do so.

At one of their Meetings he first saw Colleen, an Irish Girl, that was in Schottland as an Exchange Student. She had come to Schottland for learning about the scottish way of swordfighting to write an essay comparing the scottish style and the irish style she mastered herself. He tried to befriend her and talk to her, but beeing a shy guy he wasn't able to tell her, that he fell in love with her at first sight. So he came to the Meetings, fighting and talking with her and the others, but only thinking that it can't be so difficult to tell her his feels. 

After half a year he still hadn't told her, but had to find out, that one of his friends began Dating her weeks ago. He saw them kissing after a night at the local Pub and got really sad. His unaviability to tell his feels and the Knowledge that he had lost her, his only love till now he got depressed and began loosing contact to the Group, because he wuldn't want to see them, as they remind him about this. He began playing MMORPGs and tried to overcome his shyness be playing an charackter online. After some time he heard about a game which should be published in Japan, not to far in the future, that was said to be full VR. He decided that this would be what he Needs for overcoming his "weak" personality.

He moved to Japan, already knowing some of the language by whatishing Anime and other japanese films. It was not to easy to learn the way in Japan, but he was ok with beeing by him selfe and so time went by, till SAO was released. 

 

Virtues:

Language Knowledge:   Jonas is able to learn languages extremely quick. For doing so he just has to hear it and belonging Translation. As Addition to easy learning he is able to analyse the language another is using to find out about their baground. His big Knowledge about language and it's usage allows him to maipulate his dialect.

Broad-ranging Interests:  Jonas has a broad Spektrum of Interests, so he can use the Knowledge he got as a Student. Its also quite easy to get his interest for something new. If there is something he does not know, he tries finding out as much as possible about it. He is always prepared for what he will do, because he wants to know Things about it beforehand.

Loyality: Jonas never had much friends, so he learned how important it is to be loyal to the few you know. If a friend has a promblem and Needs help he would just leave about anything so he can help. His loyality for his friends is so strong, thathe would even let himself get hurt to protect them, even if he normaly has some plan to avoid a Scenario like this. An other aspect of his loyality is tho Keep every oath he made and to respect whatever kodex his friends follow, as the man-Code, letting him leave his friend Jack with Colleen and trying to never think about her anymore.

Flaws:
Pessimist (mostly for relationships and human contact): With having to move and loosing his friends and then his new friend's "betrayal" he does not belive in the good. He thinks he will never find true love, because even if he finds the right Girl he will never be brave enough to ask her out.

Timid: In presence of Girls or women Jonas is extremely shy. He would never go and talk to one, if its not her who starts the conversation, and even then he will not say much or tell them anything about himself. He has great Trouble tuching other People or asking them for help.

Fools Love: While he would never talk to a Girl he still has the Problem, that he falls in love with about every Girl he sees. This is because he never felt how it is to be loved by someone his age and his fear that he will die allone without ever finding "the Girl". Together with his shyness he gets realy unconfortabel when ever there is one he loves and at the end of a day he often falls to sleep after cying because he again was not brave enough to talk to a Girl and being alone.
