Having gotten back from gathering materials, Nikodemus decided it was time to do some work for the first time in almost 5 days. With a smile, Nikodemus began to forge. His first 2 attempts failed and were nothing but bits of slag. His next 2 attempts provided with with two good quality items, a steel shield and a steel dagger. Liking them for their craftsmanship, he set them aside with the others. His next attempt came out well. He forged a nice Katana, taking time with the wrapping, menuki, hamon, and etching the tsuba. His last effort came out just a well as, a nice 2 handed axe made of a black steel. Red veins pulse through it's surface, showing like magma beneath solidified rock. Its length and sharpness are it's best advantages. Happy with them, he took them for evaluation.

Beginning work anew for the day, Nikodemus had worked one item, but sighed and tossed the failure away. His next items were all of good quality. 2 swords, of one handed and two handed use, a whip, and a nice set of heavy armor were all made. Each of these items were basic and left with no marks or insignia, so that customers who wanted to add a guild mark or personal emblem could do so. His last piece for the day came out very well. He worked a piece of material for a good hour, then split it in 2 with a cutting press. After, he shaped the item into strange almost question mark like looks. He then put a hole in the part where the length met the crooks, and then hammered them to be mirrored piece that fit together flush. Adding a riveted peg, he attatched the two pieces together and formed the tongs, then finished them by tempering and heat treating them for strength, These would help him hold pieces for when he needed to hammer them to shape, and for moving them properly between forge, anvil, and quench trough. Happy with the items, he left for eval.

Digging through his materials, Nikodemus found a few he wanted to use. Going to his forge and grabbing his new tongs, Nikodemus began heating the materials into billets. Working each one in turn, Nikodemus took his time and forged them as well as he could. The first 2 billets were too low temperature and they became to brittle. Tossing them aside, Nikodemus worked new ones, these ones coming out better, but not as he wanted. 2 of the 3 he worked he made into basic Iron items, the 3rd he was able to salvage the material and reform it into a billet. Mixing another material with it, he created Ivory Steel, a white-ish silver metal that he then forged into a shield. taking time to raise an image of a caduceus into it, then etching swirls and lines into the flat metal around the raised image. Happy with the items, he took them for evaluation.

Having decided to make some new items, Nikodemus began to work on them. The first 2 items failed and he had no way of salvaging them. The 3rd item came out well. A large bronze warhammer with a back spike. He made sure the spike with well pointed so it could pierce through anything. The next item was a plain set of steel armor. He left it unadorned as always. His 4th item was a dagger. It had a subtle curve to it and was capable of stabbing anything. The last Item he made was a large tower shield. With a smile, he took time to create this item and put alot of effort and design into it, making sure it would be a great piece.

Waking up for the day Nikodemus decided to get some items made. Going through the materials he had, Nikodemus began to forge.
His first item was a failure. The next three he made were all good quality. As always he left them unadorned as always so the buyers could have a mark or crest engraved if they wanted it. The next item he made was a nice curved sword. He made it from a bronzed steel and then chased it with silver and added gems to the hilt. The last item he made was a spear. It was made from a special material he had found and was strong and would be a formidable weapon in the right hands.

Waking up early, Nikodemus went into his forge and stoked it with the bellows. After about an hour of stoking the coals, Nikodemus began crafting. His first attempt failed. His next one gave him an iron weapon. His third provided a steel tipped spear. His fourth attempt provided him a nice rapier. His last 2 attempts provided him with a perfectly made Shield and Curved sword. Happy with the last 3 items, Nikodemus took care to make them each beautiful works of art. Upon finishing them, he took them for eval.

Avilon slowly walked up to the door of the mighty impressive blacksmith shop now blinking and peeping her head in to take a look around, "Neko-chan?" She spoke up with a rather questioning tone as she now peeked in wondering if her new shield she had ordered was finished. At first it seemed like he was extremely busy but it could have been that time of the year which was the problem, her fingers now tittering about as she wondered if it was best to just wait for a bit longer and call back to see if it was all done. As she slunk about though she finally noticed a might impressive tower shield which had been more then she had ever imagined capable in this game. "It's so big, I think I have to lift it off the ground to make it work for me. This is great," She shouted excited and then looking around as she was certain if she had just leave the credits on the counter or wait till he showed up.  When he arrived she would be even more ecstatic noticing he had also finished the armor. "Neko-chan you are the best!" She said leaping onto him now and giving him a huge hug, her face nuzzling into his chest however as she opened her inventory she was quite shocked to see she had a weapon bundled with it as she handed him over the cash. "Oh what is this for?"

Total Credits:  6700= 10200 - 4500 (Purchasing Shield, Armor an sword when it is complete.)

Having heard the automated chime that HUD produced when his shop was entered, Nikodemus set the large blacksmith hammer he was wielding down and then slipped the black leather hide gloves from his hand. Walking from his forge just through a doorway behind the counter, he smiled seeing Avilon. He had been waiting for her to come and pick up the items he made for her. Standing just behind the counter, he was wearing a black tunic shirt and matching pants made of leather. His shirt was sleeveless to allow his arms freedom of movement. Over these he had a leather apron tied about his waist, a set of tools in one of the pouches. Holding out the armor and sword to her, he smiled as she hugged him. Returning the hug he then leaned against his wooden counter. His whole 6'3 height was now even more evident outside of his armor, and his ice blue eyes were visible behind wire rimmed glasses. "It is a sword. <Mortal Reminder>. It will paralyze the enemy, and not just on critical hits. any high strength hit will activate it's effect. It also is made of a special material making it durable, but light, so that you can swing it with ease and be more accurate with slashes or thrusts. Hope they serve you well."

Activating the HUD, he opened up the shop screen and moved the three Item's from the shops inventory to hers, then moved the Col into his "Funds" window for the shop. Upon doing so, a little window popped before both of them with the words <<TRANSACTION COMPLETE>>. He then held out a small roll of parchment paper. "The evaluation papers. Shows they have been approved and are legitimately yours from here on out."

Waking up, Nikodemus went through his shop and began to forge once again. After an hours worth of work, he had a bad item and a good item. One of the billets he had used broke and was useless. Then he crafted a pair of Armor. He took time to work the material and make it perfect. The next item he made was a dagger. This he worked in silver and was careful to make the blade powerful and strong. The last item he made was an axe. This to was in silver. He had heard of a Werewolf boss on the lower floors being weak to it. Finished with the items, he took them for evaluation.

Deciding to do some work, Nikodemus came down to the forge and began to work. With his apron about his waist, leather gloves on hands, and tongs holding a billet, Nikodemus began to stoke the forge and then heat a billet. After nearly an hour, it was heated and ready. Taking it from the coals, Nikodemus began to hammer it out to length and forge. The first items he made was a perfect set of armor. It took him a good amount of time, but he made it well, and then finished it at the table. The next item was not heated proper and was brittle. Tossing the slag aside, he began a new item. Working a new material, Nikodemus next made a lance with a tip shaped like a lightning bolt. The next one was a one handed long sword. it was made large, and had a handle and crossguard shaped like a dragon. The next item was a one handed warhammer. He made it and engraved the symbol of Tymora on the flats of the hammer, and on the face of it. The next item he worked on was an axe. Working hard, Nikodemus smiled and made a large axe. It's blade was crescent shaped and had a rather strange handle. After working the items, Nikodemus took the for evaluation.

Waking up for the day, Nikodemus decided to begin crafting. He had an order to fill soon, and Nikodemus wanted to get it ready for pick up. Working at the forge, the first 2 items he made were a shield and dagger. Basic steel and nothing to special. The next item was an exotic curved sword. He worked it in the forge and made sure it would stand up to battle. The next 2 items he made were 2 daggers, the order to be filled. Working them, he made sure they were to specification. The last item he made was a set of heavy armor. it was large and ornate, made to fit a person and protect them as well as a tank.

The first 2 attempts were not done right, and so they came out brittle and would have broken if he tried to do any further with the billets. Sighing softly, Nikodemus tossed them out. The next attempts all came out well. He was able to make many good quality weapons that he left all unadorned so that the buyers could have them engraved if they wished. The last item he made was an arming knife. He made sure it was well made and would serve a good purpose. Once he was done, he took them all to eval.

Waking up for the day, Nikodemus made his way to his forge. He had to get a jump on some items before orders came in. Stoking the forge, Nikodemus prepared the coals with a special powder to give them more carbon so that the materials would become more pure as they burned. After stoking the forge, Nikodemus began to forge. The first 2 materials he heated were too soft and pliable, and when mixed with the carbon became brittle and unusable. Tossing them, he began again with better materials. The next two materials were crafted into a fine 2 war axe and 2 handed sword. Making sure they are sharp and ready for use immediately. The next item he made was an exotic form of the rapier. It was a mix between the natural rapier with a bell guard, and a long sword. The Estoc had a longer and thicker blade than a normal rapier, and traded it's traditional bell guard for a standard cross guard. The blade was made for powerful piercing thrusts that would skewer a man, armor and all, to the person behind him. The next item he made was a set of armor. He made it strong and durable so it would keep its wearer alive. The last item he made was another set of armor, exquisite and perfect.

Vectis walked into the shop not knowing it was actually a shop, "Woaah! Holy crap, this is one cool snack bar! I'll just take this, and this, and this..." His eyes were fooling him, in fact they were making him swallow daggers! "Ooww! Yummm... Oooowww! Yuummmmm.... OOOOOWWWW!"  It took the blonde a while to notice what he was actually doing, and much to his horror, the daggers phased through his stomach as soon as he swallowed them, "Who knew daggers tasted REALLLY good, I need to eat some more!" He kept trying to eat them, but then saw two beautifully made daggers in a display case, "Wooaah! Aren't those beauties."

Hearing a commotion from just outside his forge, Nikodemus set his tongs and hammer down and walked through the small door that separated his shop front from his forge. He took the leather gloves off his hands and folded then within the belt that held his apron to his waist and began wiping his soot covered hands with a cloth that hung next to the gloves. His leather apron was also covered in soot and blackened coal residue. Looking to the young man eating his merchandise, Nikodemus perked an eyebrow slightly. "Hmmm... So are you insane like me? Or just driven by hunger?"

Following the young mans gaze to the display with 2 large daggers on them, Nikodemus reached a finger over and tapped the slip of paper beneath one of the blades that said <<Reserved for Customer>> and smiled. "These are good daggers, but sadly they are reserved. Unless your the customer, they aren't for sale."

"Good daggers you say?" Vectis scratched his head when he mentioned daggers, "Oh? You mean those little thingies that you stab with?" He observed the two daggers in front of him very closely, "Reserved for a customer? Well he'll be missing out cause I'm about to- Heyyy, how the heck did my name get on there?" This was the most confusing moment for the sandy haired boy, his gaze rested on the two daggers intensely and wondered, 'How the heck did my name get on there?'

With a quirked eyebrow he looked at the young man before him and then tilted his head. "Your Vectis? Well, this order came in from a friend of mine for a player named Vectis. Gift of some sort. I've been waiting for this Vectis to come in for a bit now. If your him, then they are yours." Fishing around in his pocket for a moment, he lifted a large bronze key out and slid it into a large lock in the top of the case where they sat. With a twisting click, the sound of a bolt and hammering home reverberated through the shop, and the front of the case became translucent, then vanished altogether. Waving a hand at the two blades, Nikodemus smiled softly and said, "They are called Ahiru and Hakucho. Specially ordered and made. I would suggest not trying to eat these ones. Their blades are of the highest quality and will most likely slice you from gullet to groin if you ingest them. They are yours." With that, he opened the shop tansaction HUD and unlocked the items so that Vectis could take ownership of the weapons.
