Having just finished their dive into the first dungeon of the day, Takao exhaled a disappointed breath as he emerged from the cave. The cool, underground drafts were almost instantly replaced by a wall of dry, humid, and uncomfortably hot air. Oh well, he thought to himself. Progress was progress and results were results, the journey to both were worth whatever desert-born discomfort he'd have to endure. "Right, so, the next one's about three quarters of a kilometer due west. The dunes flatten out that way, so it'll be an easy walk... or, well. Easier, at least." He said, knowing fully well that a walk with more persistent elevation wouldn't offer a considerable amount of solace in comparison to the opposite.
