Razum-dar 0 Posted April 13, 2016 #1 Share Posted April 13, 2016 (edited) Profile Username: Razum-dar Real name: Raziel Darwin Age: 16 Gender: Male Height: 5' 10" About: History/personality Raz was always a bit of a fox. Cunning, sly, and a smile that could win over the hearts of anyone, despite how bloodthirsty it looked. He could pretend to be anyone, and always had a word to fit any situation. The life of the party, but a trickster who made it seem like he was unimportant. Hidden in plain sight, and nobody knew his true intentions. It was this that got Raz through his days as a kid. He could pretend to be anyone he had met, and put on new identities like clothes. He wished to make sure that anyone who met him either didn't remember him at all, or remembered him as someone else. He'd often even pretend to be his dad to skip school, and he was practiced enough sounding like him that it seemed to work every time. Needless to say, Raz wasn't one to care much about others, and he didn't have many friends as a result. And any friends he had always thought he was someone else, some false face. As a result, when he wasn't busy trying to pull the wool over everyone's eyes, Raz lost himself in video games. Not even his parents saw much of him, as when he got home from school or some social event, he'd boot up his computer and start yet another second life. He never stuck with many games though. He often got bored, and people would get too comfortable around him, when he couldn't pretend to be another character or make tons of alts. Raz just didn't want people to know him. To see his true face. Not there was anything wrong with him, mind. He just preferred to be everyone else. When Sword Art Online was announced, Raz was one of the first to consider purchasing it, and he loved the idea that he could physically live this second life he had always wanted to live without it being limited to some clunky fake emotes in a computer game. Raz had managed to save up quite a bit of money conning his friends out of their lunch money for the past year, and was able to buy the NerveGear without even having to tell his parents. Raz preferred it that way, as he hid himself in his room and locked himself away, ready to start the game. The last the world saw of Raz's consciousness was him shouting, "Link Start!' Virtues: Independent Thinker: Raz isn't one to fall victim to gullibility or be considered a "sheep". He'll forge his own path, and will often steer clear of "mainstream" ideas. To many people this makes him a hipster, but to Raz he just sees it as a strength. He's free to have his own ideas, regardless of what anyone ever thinks of him, and he'll show the world just how original those thoughts can be. He's also very opposed to peer pressure, and rather dislikes the idea of someone oppressing others into doing things just because someone else wants it to happen. Honorable: Despite his con artist nature, and his ability to wear whatever face he chooses, Raz is not one to slight those who don't deserve it. He'll always pick his targets carefully and work to ensure that he's only taking enough to keep from making his target bankrupt. He isn't out to ruin families or lives, he just thinks it's fun to make a little money on the side while pretending to be people he's not. He slighted someone once, and has regretted it ever since. He seeks to atone for this with honorable actions, but might never be able to forgive himself. Cunning: Raz can often get himself out of any situation with his slippery nature, generally by acting like someone he isn't. He can mimic most personalities and match that up to his cunning nature to sweet talk himself through anything, or so he believes. If he ever gets his hands on clothes, he'll often impersonate certain types of people without a second thought and will put himself in their shoes to get what he wants. It's not always about how powerful one is, sometimes it's about how smooth and calm one can be in even the worst of situations. Flaws: Weasel: If Raz is one thing, it's a weasel, as he lies and cheats his way through everything in his life to get what he wants with hardly a care of the backlash. He'll often push to make sure that happens regardless of how many people hate him. That is, if they ever find out. Of course, this sneaky weasel has no true friends to show for it, and always has to watch his back. Though if you ever asked Raz, he'd tell you that it was all worth it, every step of the way. Aimless: Raz has no real direction in his life. Unless you count that he wants to never be the same person twice and pull the wool over everyone's eyes. But in terms of life goals or dreams, Raz really has none. He just exists in the world, and gets his way through it one day at a time. He isn't one to try to forge a path or become something great in the world. He simply wants to wander around in the shadows and deceive all those that he can. That's all the life he wishes to lead. Fickle: Raz doesn't like to wear the same face twice unless the situation warrants it, and he often doesn't wear a face for long. He often wishes to push himself to new things, and hates the idea of being close enough to a person that they may see him do the same thing or connect the dots of who he really is. So he'll often go out of his way to act different in every situation, making himself especially erratic and unstable at times, especially when people need to rely on him. Not that anyone should ever rely on Raz.
