[PP-F1] The Hunting Thieves Saga - The Shadow of Death - Part 1 (Endilix, Asteria)

Endilix glared down at the thief, breathing heavily, practically boring a hole into him as the boy's rapid breathing didn't subside. "P-please d-don't hurt me, mister! I'm j-just trying to survive!" the boy cried at Endilix, and Endilix's features softened a bit in response. Endilix gave a heavy sigh as his breath came back to him, before rolling off of the kid and standing. He grabbed the boy by the front of his shirt and hefted him onto his feet once more. Endilix brushed him off with his free hand, before holding his hand out to the boy. "The pouch, if you please," Endilix said calmly, and the boy stared at his hand for a long time, before slowly placing the pouch of materials in it. Endilix nodded back and then released the boy. "Go find a home, a family who will take care of you. Don't be a thief, kid. It isn't worth it," Endilix said solemnly as he turned away.

"Aster, I got your-" Endilix started as he turned, looking for the girl who had been with him through the afternoon. But she was nowhere to be found. Endilix looked a bit surprised as he looked to the stage area, which now appeared to be mostly empty. "...Aster?"

Raz hadn't been watching behind him, and before he knew it there was a girl darting past him after the poet. Raz grew wide-eyed as the girl didn't stop her forward momentum, and as he realized what was happening made a motion to grab her by the shirt, the leg, something, but she was too quick. Raz cursed under his breath and quickly ran after the girl. As she shouted, Raz winced, and in a furious whisper, despite that his cover was far past blown, said, "What are you doing, you silly girl? Raz is trying to catch him and you just come waltzing out here like it's nothing. Why are you even here?!"

But as he whispered, Raz turned to look at his target, who was staring at both of them with a sneer on his face. He gave a low chuckle, and said, "Fools," as he tapped on the wall he was standing next to. There was a sliding sound as it appeared as if the wall moved back, and slid out of the way. The old man slipped into the opening, and just as quickly as it had opened, the wall was slid back into place and closed. Raz gave a cry of, "NO!" as he rushed after the old man, but the wall was locked back into its place right as Raz reached it. He slammed his fist against the wall, but heard what sounded like a locking noise. Raz cursed, and turned back to the girl, "You stupid girl! Look what you did! Now what is Raz going to do?!"
