I'm just asking if anyone has actually taken or done martial arts before?

Me personally I'm a Orange Belt in Ryukyu Kempo Karate.

While I'm unranked:

Muay thai

Kyusho (pressure points, still a novice)

Traditional Karate

Jui-jitsu

Kick-boxing *not really martial arts, but inspired*

and lastly IFC (which is a more urban style of UFC) Pretty much a no rules UFC.

I know how to street fight, Ive played a ton of street fighter, and watched a ton of prison shows. I could totally beat people in a street fight, also I know tons of intimidating phrases

"Snitches get stitches."

"Ima hurricane kick you son!"

"Ima take you to the vet dawg!"

I am the toughest gangstah on the site

When I was a lot younger (7-9 me thinks) I used to take Tae Kwon Do classes. Made it to yellow belt before I had to stop for some reason. I won quite a few medals from tournaments and I was going to go national at one point. I wonder why I stopped...I can't recall.

I studied Tae Kwon Do for about 9 years before reaching Black Belt. I stopped after that but keep my skills up by practicing and working out. I unofficially teach Tae Kwon Do (with a mixture of other tricks I've learned over the years) to the three sons of my housing director. I try to keep it on the down low for the most part though. Once people learn how much you know things can get a little...... complicated. Perhaps others know what I mean.

Well in terms of keeping things on the down low. I don't broadcast the "I'm martial arts, fear me" but I do stand up for myself. If someone wants to push me around, I just put them in a wrist lock and drop'em to the ground. lol. The look on their face is almost priceless. *only had to do this 2 times*

I've performed a technique on an unsuspecting person who thought nothing of me about.... Uhhhhh 3 times. First there was the leg-sweep (personal favorite move I know), the headlock (if that one didnt calm down I would've put him to sleep), and then there was the arm lock.

Hadoken is to obvious they might know it already and laugh at me.

The most important of all... "GET OVER HERE!"

I study Brazilian jui-jitsu and May Thai. Though it is for self defense, I do it mainly to keep fit and toned. Nothing better for keeping me looking good than a little martial arts (After applying makeup to hide the bruises ;) )
