[SP-F6] «The Gemini» Only One May Live [Completed]

In his usual fashion, the wanderer finds himself wandering, but this time in the forest of the 6^th floor. He had heard that there is a rare herb here that could make a really strong potion with. For the past 1 hour, he has been skulking around searching left and right. After a few minutes, he quickly finds a beautiful azure blue flower with a snowy white center. Intrigued, the wanderer gives a slight tug at the flower and collects the material. As he looks at the flower, he quickly realizes that this flower isn't the material he was looking for. It seems to be just an uncommon flower. It may be beautiful to look at, but just uncommon. With slight sadness in his face, he puts away the material and begins to look again.

As the wanderer looks around, a hooded figure walks out from behind a tree. "Ahh just the person I'm looking for." said the hooded figure. Taken aback, the wanderer somewhat stumbled on his words. "W-w-who are.. who are you?" he finally gets the words out. The hooded figure then slowly walks towards the wanderer. Above his head were just question marks. His name is unknown to the system.. "how is that possible?" the wanderer thought. The hooded figure then stopped a few feet ahead of the wanderer. "I would like to challenge you to a dual," he said. "You win, you'll earn a great prize." The wanderer was skeptical at first. "A great prize? Maybe this is some kind of event or something" he thought.

After giving it some thought, the wanderer accepted. "Fine.."

The wanderer swings his fingers around in the air and after a few seconds, a glowing light emanates from his feet. Then it stops after a pair of boots appeared on the wanderer's legs. He then swings his hands around and a vial of black liquid appears. The then proceeds to drink it. He then slowly draws Bakuzan from his sheathe and faced the hooded stranger. "Normally I'd like to know who I'm facing. Reveal yourself!" shouted the wanderer.

The hooded figure then removed his cloak and what appeared was a mirror copy of the wanderer. From his face to his hair to even his gear. It all looked the same. Above the stranger a name pooped up. "The Gemini" "Lucky me," said the wanderer as he tightly gripped his blade. He's heard of The Gemini. It will often target people who are alone and challenge them to duels. These duels are often to the death - something the wanderer wants to stay far from.

The wanderer tightly grips Bakuzan tightly as it hung to his side, then it started glowing azure. Likewise The Gemini did the same. "Is he copying my sword arts too?" the wanderer thought. He wanted to test his this theory out for himself. Suddenly both swordsman disappeared, then a flash shined from the center of this duel. Some seconds after the two swordsman come flying to trees. The wanderer flying to the right of where he last was and the same with The Gemini.

It seems that in that flash, the two swordsman crossed swords and that flash was the result of it.

The wanderer fell against a tree, while The Gemini fell into another tree that's just across from him. The wanderer got up quickly as if nothing happened, but The Gemini slowly got up as if fairly injured. The wanderer thought a bit. He felt it. He know it. He felt the weight of The Gemini's sword. It wasn't the same. It felt weaker. His armor also is probably different, since it looks like it took more damage than I did.

Once The Gemini finally got up, the wanderer tightly gripped his blade as it hung to his side. He wants to finish this already. As he gripped Bakuzan tightly as it started glowing azure. Likewise, The Gemini did the same and it's sword glowed azure. Then in a flash, both fighters disappeared, just like before. Moments after a strong gust of air blows from the center of the duel then The Gemini appears standing still, as if frozen in time. The wanderer appears behind The Gemini and slowly walks away. While walking away, he slowly sheathes Bakuzan. As the guard of Bakuzan hits the opening of the scabbard, The Gemini falls to the ground as it's body begins to crack then slowly pixelate into the winds.

A window pops in front of the wanderer. "Disguise Unlocked"

The wanderer fell back to his rear. That fight didn't do much damage to him physically, but mentally, that was exhausting. Having to kill his own self can really change a man. You can see your face as you die. It's trippy. He fell to his back on the ground. Arms stretched in the air. His legs, stretched just the same. He let's out a yawn. He stares up to the sky as a slight breeze sweeps in. It was relaxing. It was helping him calm down from this encounter.

A hour goes by, the wanderer slowly opens his eyes. It seems the wanderer had fallen asleep and took a short nap. Luckily for him, there didn't seem to be any PKers in the area. The wanderer lets out a quiet yawn as he stretched his arms high in the air. "Crap... I fell asleep." The wanderer looked around. There doesn't seem to be anything hostile.

The wanderer got and opened his map with a few quick swipes of his fingers in the air. As he checked out the map, he  realized he's near some unexplored area. With that in mind, he starts walking into the unknown.

Walking into the unknown, the wanderer wandered. He went back to his task that he had before, which was to look for more materials he can use to make potions with. As he walked deeper into the jungle, he noticed a shadow moving deeper into the jungle. Gripping Bakuzan tightly, the wanderer followed the shadow. He made a few quick swipes of his fingers in the air and a few of his gears changed.

As he got closer to the shadow, he quickly realizes what that show was. It was a black cougar, native to this floor. Wanted to make his first kill of this beast, the wanderer slowly creeps to the cougar, all the while tightly gripping his blade. Once he felt he's close enough, he charged the cougar. With two quick swings of his blade, he cuts through the cougar's hide. The cougar heard the wanderer coming. With's quick reaction, it tried to attack the wanderer while it was getting cut.

Following the last clash of man and beast, the wanderer tightly grips as he turns around for another clash with the cougar. Tightly holding Bakuzan as it dangled at his side, the wanderer once again rushed at the black cougar. The cougar like-wise turned around to face the wanderer. Failing for land a blow in the last clash, the cougar glared at the wanderer with anger. Once it saw the wanderer rushing towards it, it followed suit and charged at the wanderer.

The two clashed in a blinding flash. The wanderer was able to dice the cougar in two swift slices, while the cougar was able to claw at the wanderer as it he passed the cougar.

The wanderer glanced at his red marks on his arms. It seems the cougar was able to land a blow on him during their last clash. Slightly angered as his ego has been slightly broken - since he prided himself on his EVA build - the wanderer faced the cougar. Like a mirror, the cougar did the same. Both gladiators fierce glared at each other. Both, angered by each other.

The wanderer tightly gripped Bakuzan as he dangle on his side. Then in a moment, the wanderer rushed the cougar. Similarly, the cougar followed suit.

Seconds after, both man and beast stood back to back, but fairly distant from each other. There were no extra red marks on both of them. It seems, both of them missed.

Anger by at themselves, both the wanderer and the cougar faced each other again. One of them needs to die to end this hunt once and for all. Sadly, neither of them can end it.

The wanderer faced the cougar. His usual relaxed - uninterested - face, broken into that of an angry one. "Enough of this shenanigans!" he thought, and blindly began to charge at the cougar.

Similarly, the , already, angry cougar rushed at the wanderer as the wanderer charged in.

Sadly, both fighter, yet again, missed each other.

The wanderer, still angered, faced the cougar. He wants to destroy this cougar already, but he stopped himself from doing that. After a few seconds of breathing, the wanderer calmed down. "What can I do?" he thought. After a few more seconds, the wanderer faced the cougar with a plan in mind.

The wanderer waited for the cougar to give chase, before the wanderer moved. He wanted to let the cougar think he's setting the pace. As the cougar got close enough, the wanderer tightly gripped Bakuzan as it held on his side and rushed the cougar. Then in a flash, two ridiculously fast slashes from the wanderer cut themselves through the neck of the cougar. Officially beheading the cougar as it fell unto the ground and broke into pixels.

The wanderer fell on his back after his fight - he seems to do this often. That fight really took a lot out of him. Look up in the sky, a strong breeze sweeps in. It was relaxing and invigorating. After taking a deep breathe, the wanderer notices a bright light to his right. He doesn't know how e didn't notice this before, but this like is really noticeable. As he turns to his right, he realizes there an azure flower right next to his head. Him falling to the ground just barely missed the flower. Thinking it was a material he gives a tug on the flower after reaching over with his left hand. He gazed at it. Lucky for him, it was a rare ingredient.

The wanderer just wanted to spend the rest of the day just laying there. The grass felt cozy, the shade from the trees was nice, and the breeze that occasionally felt really relaxing. He didn't want to leave. Even after resting for this long, that fight still wore him out. He kept thinking about that fight. What it was like facing himself. It honestly felt like that time when he fought his dead twin brother, Kaizer. "Kai... I wonder what it would've been like if you were here, too..." A tear slowly dripped down out of his left eye, as he stared up to the sky.

After a few more minutes of reminiscing, he wipes the tears from his face. He then slowly picks himself up from the ground using Bakuzan as a support. He sheathes Bakuzan and begins stretching. He rotates his neck around to loosen the tension. Then he twists his body around while hearing a crack on his back. He then rotates his shoulders as if getting ready to fight. Finally, he looks around and picks a random direction and starts walking in that direction. He needs to find more materials again.

After a few minutes of walking, the wanderer spots another cougar prowling in the jungle a few feet ahead of him. It would seem that the cougar hasn't noticed that wanderer just yet. The wanderer quietly unsheathes Bakuzan from his scabbard and as he slowly crept closer to the cougar. Once close enough, the wanderer tightly gripped Bakuzan and began to charge at the unsuspecting cougar. After a few seconds the blade starts to glow azure and with two quick slashes he cuts through the cougar before it could take notice of the wanderer.

The cougar, after taking the two fast slashes rushed the wanderer as he landed after landed from his sword art. Unfortunately for the cougar, the wanderer saw it coming and dodged the cougar before it could sink any of it's claw or teeth in by jumping in the air and doing a backflip.

Dodging the cougar's attempt to attack, the wanderer is now free falling to ground after doing a backflip. Unfortunately for the cougar, the wanderer is falling directly at the cougar. The wanderer tightly gripped Bakuzan again as he fell until it glowed azure. With two quick slashes, the wanderer cuts through the cougar. Unfortunately for the wanderer, the cougar saw the wanderer falling above him. The cougar jumped at the wanderer as he fell and with his paws, ripped a few red marks on the wanderer's chest.

The wanderer fell the ground on his rear as the cougar that jumped at the wanderer roar out loud in pain. This cougar seems to have more fight than the last one. The wanderer slowly gets up as he kept his eyes on the cougar. Now, it seems that the angry cougar seems to be blindly rampaging around, swiping his claws at anything he saw. 

The wanderer watched the movement of the cougar. He wants to finish this already. Every time the wanderer got closer to attack, the cougar would turn around and start clawing at the wanderer's direction. Fortunately for the wanderer, he's was fast enough to dodge the claws.

Without hesitation, the wanderer dashes at the cougar as it turned around after clawing at the wanderer and tries to land a blow. Sadly, the cougar turned back around and tried to claw at the wanderer again. The wanderer pulled back yet again before it could sink it's claws.

The wanderer studied the rampaging cougar. He watched how it moved and when it moved. He it attacked, how it breathed. He was waiting for the right opportunity. Once he saw it, he took it. In the middle of the cougar's swings of his paws, the wanderer rushed the large cat. Bakuzan in hand and the blade glowed azure, the wanderer swung his in two quick succession deeply wounding the cougar. Unfortunately for the cougar, it wasn't able to slash at the charging wanderer as it rampaged on.

The cougar, yet again roared out in pain. It seems the last attack of the wanderer cut deep into the cougar. Now, it's health bar is almost completely gone. One more attack should do it. With that in mind, the wanderer rushed at the cougar. Tightly gripping Bakuzan, the sword started glowing azure. The cougar quickly noticed on in coming wanderer and charge at him. As the cougar jumped on the wanderer, the wanderer's feet got caught on a rock which happened to be sticking out of the ground and made the wanderer trip and rolled on the ground. The pouncing cougar, missed the wanderer as it jumped over the rolling wanderer.
