About: History/personality

Haruhi grew up in what is probably one of the most sheltered environments on the planet, meaning that she didn't know a wide range of topics. For example, she has no clue what human anatomy is. You could call it ignorance, or idiotic parenting, but I call it genius. Being raised like this meant she'd keep her childish mind, which later resulted in her becoming optimistic, a tinkerer-at-heart, and most of all, cute. One thing is uncertain about her, which is the age of this tiny little girl. Despite her underwhelming height, Haruhi is much older than most people would think. And of course, she's never had a boyfriend before for very obvious reasons. (You can put two and two together.) No! It's not because of her being one-eyed, it's about something else that has to do with age, but most of all, your trigger happy local authorities armed with automatic weapons.

Virtues:

Childish - Physically growing up without ever having to mentally mature lead to her childish behaviour, it is the only thing that gets her out of bad situations next to her height. After all, would you want to beat the crap out of something that adorable? (If you would, then you're a monster! >:c) This trait sometimes attracts a few weirdos around her, but they normally go away after two days, hopefully.

Playful - Have you ever been chased around by a crazy school boy carrying a textbook while also trying to hit you with it? Well obviously not, because that's just weird. Haruhi likes to get chased by anyone, and literally anyone. It doesn't matter who it is, it could be someone younger or older than her and she'll see it as a little game of tag. With that limitless amount of energy, you'll be playing that dumb game until the day you're six feet under, yay!

Charismatic - Something about the way she talks to people makes them just want to (Kill her because of cuteness overload) hug her to death. Haruhi speaks with great enthusiasm and the surprising will to play no matter what time of day it is. She's convinced some of her friends to play tag with her at the dead of night just because of the way she uses the all powerful voice.

Neutral Traits:

Midgetitis - No, this is not a fake disease, it's a really real one! Flaws:

Mischevious - No matter how sheltered you are growing up, you will always be able to put whip cream inside your parents' (And friends') shoes when they're not looking, and get away with it. Haruhi doesn't see this as something wrong, but instead a fun little activity. The only reason she can do this and get away with it, is because of her height and usual way of speaking which is surpisingly, VERY CHILDISH!

One Eyed - This is partly the reason she grew up in a sheltered environment, Haruhi wasn't allowed to go to school until they found out a solution for her eye. When most people are kids, they want to be pirates. And you know what happened next? Haruhi proposed that she get an eyepatch to cover it, and that's the story of how she (Met your mother) went to school. Putting eyepatches aside, it really sucks to have only one eye, but being a pirate is super awesome.

Childish - Well of course this isn't only a trait, it's also a flaw! (Yay!) Did you know that children are the most susceptible to adult influence? Cool huh, but let's get back to the point. Haruhi is mentally a seven year old, and that means she's ignorant to the world around her. However, because of her current age she is capable of absorbing new information, but because of her brain age, she'll usually twist it to make it funny. Sort of like trying to teach a child about the honey bees and the doves. Hey, did you also know childish means immature?
