Solaire:

Solaire hails from a rich family descendant from Norse beserkers. His family still lives upon the land that his ancestors took and claimed as theirs. Solaire enjoyed a life full of leisure but his family never let it go too far. One thing that his family made sure to iron out of him was any laziness, that was one trait that they wouldn't let stand. For example, his father made Solaire train with the ancient weapons every other day and go down to the farmer's fields and work there on the middle days. This regimen mixed with the insistence on him learning the classics like his noble ancestors would lead to the development of a chivalrous attitude, an attitude that he holds himself to rigorously. This attitude made him seem all the more noble, leading to him seeming like a father figure. He would go down to the villages and drink and laugh with his "peasants" and enjoy his time with them. They looked up to him, and his family, as benefactors. Therefore, in many ways Solaire and his family were recreating a scenario of the lords of old.

Solaire didn't really have any issues with his family, as some gamers do. In fact, it was quite the opposite. He loved training in the various arts of combat and lording with his father, learning step by step how to be a more noble and chivalrous man in his own right. He enjoyed rough housing with his siblings day and night when time, and energy, allowed. The reason he turned to gaming was the fact that he could duel people without having to worry about legal constraints, no one truly appreciated duels nowadays. His parents didn't mind this as long as the training and education was still followed so Solaire began to game as well as balance the other aspects of his life.

Virtues:
Holy- Solaire feels that he has some holy purpose on this planet and that he will see it through before he recalled to heaven to be a warrior of Christ. This holy and crusader-like attitude is reflected in how he deals with plans of action. He will charge headlong with complete confidence in his cause in being there and this generally plays off on others, inspiring them to virtuous and courageous acts in battle as they are inspired by his "holiness."

Fatherly- Solaire, due to his noble origins, has always seemed like a father. He is always caring for his subordinates, often treating them as children. This is an aspect where he is wonderful for groups. He makes sure that everyone is doing well and that there are no wants for anything within his troops. However, there are issues whenever another dominant person comes into the group and tries to contest Solaire's role in the group.

Persistent- There are different types of persistence. The kind where one is so stubborn where the person won't change their mind no matter what. Then there is the kind which sees a matter as far as it will go but once it is unviable they drop it. Solaire is of the latter. Solaire will adopt a plan and, as long as it seems like there is a chance for success, he will pursue it. This especially comes into play with group work where if someone is in trouble Solaire will try and save them if at all possible. Defeat without attempt is not an option in his mind.

Flaws:

Masochistic- For some reason or another Solaire seems to enjoy pain. Actually, to say he enjoys it is a bit of an understatement. He loves pain. Being injured doesn't faze him at all and sometimes he seems to enjoy it. This becomes a flaw because eventually, he doesn't realize when it has gone too far. This leads to situations where he'll sit there and receive blows all day but he won't think it is bad at all until he realizes that his groupmates may not be enjoying it so well when they perish.

Egotistic- Solaire is a bit egotistic and this gets in the way of group work. Whenever someone gives an idea it is the natural assumption of Solaire that his idea is infinitely times better. Solaire thinks that he is almost always right, causing some issues with other leadership roles such as generals who might have a better opinion on the matter.

Invincible- Solaire has developed somehow this idea that he invincible. From game to game he will throw himself into fights that are almost impossible to win and the fact that, either through sheer luck or skill, he wins every time doesn't help resolve this at all. This invincible mindset could cause issues in a game like SAO where biting off more than you can chew doesn't allow for a second chance.
