[SP-F16] Just a day on the beach

Zandra was in her beach house, sorting the books in her bookshelfs. She sorted them so the ones about nature-based potions would stand for themself and sea-based potions would stand for themself, thou they would stand beside eachother. She had several books of each subject, but to be honest, she rarely opened those books. She was more interested in the one about ancient creatures. She also was a big fan of ice and snow-based potions. Like the ice-crystal potion she did awhile ago. which made it so your hair looked like it was made of solid air. Or the snoweternity. As soon as you moved, some snow falls down from the bodypart that moves.

She had made alot of other potions based on ice. Like the freezing-potion that make you feel ice-cold and freezing, even if its thirty drgrees outside and you sitting in the sun. Its the one that makes it so it feels like you have big blocks of ice around your feets. Thats makes it hard for you to move. There is of course even more that she cant think about right now like that out of the sky. But the two bases she had just ordered the book in, she could realy remeber anyone she had done lately. Weeks go she did one that makes the ones that drinks the potion seasick. She had given it to one of her friends as a prank. At the start she had laughed. But after awhile she realised she didnt had made an antdiiote. Then it wasnt as fun anymore.

Zandra walks back a few steps from the bookshelf to see how it looks. She nods and scratches her shin.''Yeah, that looks good. What do you think Zita?'' she shouted to the sleeping eagle familiar on the top of another book-shelf. It jumped when it herd its name beeing shouted and looked at Zandra. Then she cried in agrrement. Zandra understood that was what she meant and a smile was on her lips. Thats when she looked out thur the window. There she saw the sun was shining. She threw an eye on the other books that needed to be sorted. Then she looked out thru the window aagain.

It didnt took many moments for her to decide.''Zita, time for a break dont you think?'' and this time the answer came faster and the eagle flew down to her shoulder immediatly. Zandra takes a quick look at her store. Then she walks out thru the door. As soon as they are outside, Zita opens up her wings and darts up in the air dozens of meters above Zandra. Zandra holds her hand to schadow her eyes from the sun. So she can see one of her best friends flying in the air, realy enjoying her time in the free much more then sleeping on a bookshelf. Zandra herself also feels much better outside in the sun the in the store, cleaning.

When she came out, she took a deep breath.''Ah... This feels much better then beeing inside cleaning, dosent it?'' She then walks down the stair leading down to the sandy beach. She feels the sand between her toes. Then she picks up one of the choclate bars she had bougth from Ssendom when he was still alive. She ate it, enjoying every single chew. Since she knew, she will never taste this kind of choclate bars ever again. She looked around. This far she havent explored the area around her house to check if there is any strong mobs lurking around. It was quite some time since she was farming for money and materials.

Zandra havent walked for long before she made her first encounter. The sand started to swirl a couple of dozen meters infront of her. She smirked. A few moments later, a giant scorpion was there, staring at her. Zandra started to charge up her sword art shattering colossus. The scorpion screamed at her and she started to run. Zandra feets blew up sand in the air as she approached the mob. While running, she activated her charge skill, giving her a slight bonus to her damage. When it was ready, she activated her sword art. The chain whip twirled around its neck and she threw it into the sand twice, making its health disapera and a reward screen appeare.

Zandra looked at the reward screen with a smile on her lips. There was along time since she last was grinding, and last she did it she was much lower level. She also did way less damage. And the rewards you gets depends on the health of the mob. Now she was abled to kill stronger mobs which meant more money. A moment later another scorpion appeared. Zandra quickly closed the screen and prepared her shattering colossus again.''You ready to die you little piece of [censored], just like your brother.'' she said and laughed. She sprinted towards it, activating her charge skill and when in range, released the sword art which reduced its health from full to null.

Zandra now stared at the screen infront of her with eyes wide opened. She couldnt believe it. She almost got six thousand col, from just one kill! This was just unbeliveable. She knew that Ssendoms was even more effective. He had weaker sword arts, but they was area of effect sword arts and because of that, killed four times as many enemies in one strike compared to Zandra. But to be a single target build. Almost six thousand from one attack, that was pretty good she said to herself. She closed the screen. She glanced at her energy. She was one energy away from beeing able to do another one of her shattering colossus attacks. So she sat down on a rock and rested.

Zandra saw her energy tick up. Now she had enough energy to kill another one of those filthy creatures known as giant scorpions. Zandra watched around the beach while starting to walk. After about twohundred meters, the sand infront of her started to move again, just like the previous ones, and a creature with a long tail with a poision claw at the end and two huge claws as hands. Zandra charged up her strongest sword art again. Then she rushed towards the mob, activated her charge skill. Then she released the whip sword art. The hain flew thru the air. It twired around the scorpions neck. Then Zandra gripped the handle with both hands and pulled it. The scorpion flew thru the air and smashed into the ground. Then she pulled the other way and the scorpion lost its remaingning health, turning it into pixels and rewarding Zandra with more money.

Zandra stared at the screen again. She got as much money as in the previous reward. This was realy her lucky day.Maybe she was gonna go bet on horses today as well. Then she realised they dont have horses in Sword art online. At least not those that you can bet on. Very well. There was other tings to spend the momney on. Like more informtaion if she was going for a unique skill. Since lately, two players with unique skills have vanished into pixels, which means two unique sword arts was soon gonna be ready to take for her. Thou she didnt knew if she would search for the dual blades or the berserker skills, if she was first so to say.

Dual blade could be good. Since that would make her max out her damage even more then she already have. Thou it wouldnt add anything to her survival. Also what she has herd, thou she can be wrong, it only have its crazy strong sword arts as single target ones. So she would lack the use of any AOE attacks. The berserker on the other hand, it was great for her as a damage dealer, since it gave you back a part of the damage you deal as health. So she would be able to fight on longer wothout having to care about the death risk. Well of course, nothing said that she would be first to get her hands on one of the skills.

Zandra herd a pling and looked up. Now she had waited long enough for her energy to meet the point when it fully refills again. That was so good. Otherwise it would take so long time for her to refill her energy after making three of her strongest sword arts. Well well, so now its time to continue the hunt, the hunt for monry, the hunt wealth. She looked down at her whip. This whip was her realy trusty. It had been with her thru so many battles. Quest bosses as well as floor bosses. Also back when she and Jomei was farming for a home, the whip have been with her, giving her Col after Col after Col.

So, now it was time to continue hunting. Thou she now was tired of the beach. She decided to go into the forest instead. She llooked at the trees for a minute. Down at first floor,or maybe it was second, she fought those weak mobs, and almost died. Second time she was there. Those was like flyes to her. Now she is on a much higher floor. But she is also much higher level. Is she gonna almost die or meet flies? She started to walk forward. But that when she spotted something a few meters from her position. It was a bush. Thou it was a bush she havent seen before. She decides to go check it out. When she comes to it. There is a completly new kind of berries she had never seen before. She picks a bunch of them and places them in her supply bag.

When the berries is safe and secure in the supply bag, Zandra rises and heads into the woods. This time she walks into the woods, without checking any bushes she might see. Maybe the berries is poisionus. Or if they have no use at all, useless. Then she didnt wnted to fill her bag with berries she just was gonna throw away. Well, time to go back on killing mobs for money. She hears something in the bushes ahead. She redies her sword art shattering colossus. Then a black creature bursts out of the bush, charging towards Zandra. Thou Zandra is quicker. She charges as well, and activating her skill with the same name. Then within range, she releases her sword art, throwing the gorilla into the ground twice, turning it into pixels.

Zandra looks at the reward screen that pops up after the death of the monkey. A smile on her face when she sees another four thousands is added to her account. She closes the screen and takes a breath of happieness. If it continued like this, it would take that much time for her to gather enough money to buy yet another house for her and Jomei. Then she hears a rumble behind her. She quickly tunrs around to face the new threat. There stands another gorilla.''Was it your brither I just killed? Are oyu gonna cry about it?'' she said while chargeing up shattering colossus. When it was ready, she activated her charge skill, darting to the moneky and with the sword art slamming it into the ground twice, turning it into crystals.

As the monkeys crystals is surronding Zandra, like a shining ocean, Zandra looks at the reward screen. Another four thousand Cols. Not bad. Not bad at all. She closes the screen to go hunt for another prey. Thanks to the regeneratiion of her energy, she now have energy to kill one more of those gorillas before she needs a break. She walks thru the forest, tries to make as much sound as possible to lure them out. After a minute, her plan succedes and a gorrilla appears infront of her. She smirkes and immediatly charges up her sword art as well as activating the charge skill to close the distance between the two virtual creatures. When in range, she uses shattering colossus and turns the monky into crystals.

But now Zandra is, once again, completly out of energy. She looks around for something to sit down on to rest. She spots a large fallen tree just twenty meters away from her. She walks up to it and places her well-shaped but on the hard surface. She wipes some hair put of her face. Thou as always, some it falls back down into place, covering her left eye. Her hair have been like that for as long as she can remember. If she cuts the hair infront of her forehead shorter, it turns into a complete mess. And if she lets it grow longer, it coers her whole face instead. At least like this she can see with one eye.

When she wiped the hair out if her face, or rather tried to wipe her hair out if her face. She realised her hand got wet. She had started to sweat. Well, that just meant this was good work for her. Not only did she got money and materials. She also got some well needed training physically. Thou she didnt knew if you got any stronger from exercieing here. But hey, what did that matter? She had the skill points she got from doing quest, and after every small adventure and farming she got at least one extra skill point. And skill point is what Zandra values the most in all of Aincrad.

Zandra had herd of someone that wanted to introduce a consumable that makes it possible to change things. She had no idea how it worked. But anyway, then he suggested that it should be possible to recharge it, with skillpoints. At first Zandra thougth he was kidding. But it turned out he wasnt. Also he was a much lower level then Zandra, so why on earth would he like to introduce something like that? At that level, I could have paid for skill points. Oh right, he was an artisan, and he wanted artisans to be more wanted. But who would go buy something you recharge with skill points, thats just stupid.

Well well. She thougth to herself. Then she checked her daily gathering. Almost thirty thousand col. That would be enough for today she thougth to herself. She closed the wallet screen amd looked around. There was no mobs around, which meant the way was clear to head back home. She pushed herself up from the tree and steard her foots to walk home. One step at a time. After an hour she exited the forest and came out on the beach. She must have walked diagonal. Since she saw her beach house much closer now compared to when she entered the forest. So she walked the short way back home. When she walked into her house she let out a deep sigh. She still had to clean by order the books.
