Just occurred to me about Yui

When we get high enough in floors, think she'll show up? Yeah yeah, no original SAO characters, but hear me out. Yui isn't hinged on who was put in SAO, she was originally just a system in the game. Just like how we have Heathcliff, who needs to exist for SAO to exist, couldn't the same be said for Yui-MHCP001? Think that without Kirito and Asuna's influence she might end up dying without her memories or perhaps try to act as a shrink for mentally unhealthy players? Lolis are to be observed, not touched.

I find this idea amusing (in the good way) as this was a theme that staff also may or may have not touched/debated/voted (insert any other relative past tense verb) just a tiny while ago before things started getting agitated around here.

That'll really depend on the staff when we get to that point.  Yui-MHCP001 was, by design, an advanced top-down A.I. to regulate the mental health of the players as they went through the game.  Of course, we all know how that went.  She was made, by Cardinal, to never associate or help the players in any way.  So, all she could do was watch on, as her learning capabilities took on the depression, anxiety, and fear that the players felt; as it was the only thing that she could do.  In doing so, she became self aware, through the negative thoughts around her.

If they do bring her in, we're going to be dealing with a broken little girl; one that can't fend for herself, or anyone else.  It would be a nice piece for any of our married couples, when we get there, but nothing more.

Hirru you're talking about Yui after she became self aware and decided to break out from the cardinal. Rest assured that this Cardinal System (points towards staff team) won't allow rogue behaviour like that to 'just happen'. From my point of view IF a Yui would ever be created, she would either be a event announcer and/or a rp fodder NPC psychiatrist in SAO. So most likely,  no vulnerable little girls for all you lolicons out there:D
