"Oh geeze, already jumping head first in Oikawa?!"

Leaping down Calrex quickly crouched as he landed, moving into the stance to trigger <<Rage Spike>>. As he shot forward he quickly triggered <<Charge>> to increase his velocity, piercing through four of the serpents as they burst into crystals.

Quickly looking back he quickly dodged out of the way of the remaining serpents, giving a nod, "Alright, let's clear the rest of these guys out!"

"The early bird catches the worm Cal," chuckled the blonde as he marveled the bluenette's strength. It was bewildering to the blonde that about this time last year, he had well surpassed Calrex in level and strength and now it seems tables have turned. Gritting his teeth he wouldn't fall behind further than he already was and opted to tear into the remaining four creatures. Twisting the grip of his rapier, he extended his arm, quickly plunging the blade into the four creatures. Shaking the crystal bits from the tip of Orochi, he looked up as eight more serpents filled their place. "Yay, more snakes...", muttered the blonde.

"Heh, this is starting to turn into something out of an Indiana Jones nightmare. Talk about a lot of snakes."

As Oikawa ripped through the second set of four Calrex gave a smirk as he looked over, seeing the incoming health bars of another set of eight snakes. Bringing the Grand Blade II across his body he crouched low, triggering the stance for <<Vertical Square>> as he flew forward, triggering <<Charge>> once again as he cut through four, the shape of a square standing on one side hanging in the air for a second before they burst into crystals.

Looking at the last set the bluenette gave a nod, "Last set and we can get the dungeon boss room opened. Unless you want to keep hanging with the snakes out here, heh."

"Less snakes and more rewards sounds better," commented the blonde as he raced past Calrex to reach the remaining four serpents. A gloved hand glided over his golden hilt, ripping the pointed blade from its sheath. Activating the familiar motion of Twilight Resurrection, he allowed the Charge ability to take over as he gouged and skewered one serpent after the other. Dispelling into pixels, the remaining snakes ceased to exist; allowing them passage to the Dungeon Boss. Flicking the digital specks from his rapier, Oikawa nodded to the Ultramarine Knight and pointed ahead. "Our destination awaits."

Calrex gave a nod as he took point, entering into the long tunnel that seemed to run endless through the darkness, "Geeze, I'm sure this might be some of the tunnels where that field boss might spawn."

As he continued further smaller tunnels also appeared, but as the path began to look like it would go on even further, a large room was at the end. Rounded, made from the earth itself. There was something at the end, but not one that the bluenette could get his eyes on, "Better get your sword ready. I'll go in first."

Rushing forward he quickly leapt up, as if to strike. But before he could even swing his blade the darker shadow vanished from in front of him, before a long moving form just barely missed him. Clenching his teeth he landed on the ground, piercing the area below him with his sword as the blue aura of his <<Howl>> skill shot out, "I can't get a bead on it! Oikawa can you figure out what it is?!"

"This tunnel better lead tot he boss," Oikawa grumbled as he quickly followed the bluenette's lead. Stretching further along than he anticipated, the mottled earth seemed to drag on around them. Fortunately, signs of a new area arose as Calrex mentioned the two of them should draw their blades.

Flexing the digits wrapped around the handle of Orochi, Oikawa's pace began to quicken as Calrex leaped into the lurking darkness. Gasps and pants quickly followed as the sound of concern filtered through the ultramarine knight's voice. "You're telling me you don't know what it is?" questioned the blonde as his eyes darted about the room they now occupied.

Shadows danced and frantically bounced about giving the two zero indication of what they now faced. However, his HUD suddenly changed once Calrex engaged the unknown creature with his Howl. Looking to the health bars floating among his own, he took note of the bosses; quickly rattling off its name as he searched for its whereabouts.

"Um I've never heard of a <Shadow Stalker> but that seems to be what we're up against." Flicking his crimson gaze about, he quickly spotted the sharpened amoeba like creature and shot forward. <Charge> in full swing, the blonde unleashed a volley of thrusts unto the shadowed figure. Screaming and kicking, the creature skittered back towards the back of the cave.

"Not so big and bad. All you Big Blue."

As Oikawa rushed in and delivered his opening strike Calrex immediately followed up. It was fairly difficult to see, but the strikes from his teammates attacks made it more clear where to strike. Rushing forward the Grand Blade II shined bright with his <<Meteor Break>> attack. Adding in his <<Charge>> skill he saw two diamond petal shaped gateways appear in front of him, each one rocketing him faster towards the target before his attack slammed him into the creature.

Continuing his assault he didn't feel the small attack that knicked him from behind, the burning blue aura of <<Achilles>> triggering as a quick shockwave impulse shot out from him while he resumed attacking with his Sword Art. Red numbers shot by before he leapt back, seeing only a small fraction of the dungeon boss' health remaining, "Last shot, make it count!"

"Make it count? Just who do you think you're talking to eh?" questioned the blonde playfully as he tugged on his rapier once more. Not wanting to take any chances, the Faint executed the pre-motion for Over Radiation once more. The faint glow of his blade radiating as he turned to the Shadow Stalker. With zero hesitation, dust flew up. Caking the area he once stood as sounds of thrusts and jabs filled the air. If one was so visually inclined, their gaze would now be focusing on the dissipating crystals hanging around Oikawa as he sheathed his blade. "Pfft. Make it count. Lets get out of here mate."

"Hey, The Faint encompasses a lot of traits. I wasn't sure, heh."

As Oikawa rushed forward and dealt the final blow to the dungeon boss, as Calrex had already suspected him to accomplish, he resheathed his blade. Their battles today were done, with more experience in tow, "Definitely, I don't want to start even getting a chance of feeling comfortable in this place. There hasn't been word of people being trapped in dungeons, but there's always the chance right?"

Heading towards the newly opened exit the bluenette took point once again. It wasn't long before the light of the sun broke through the ambient darkness, the surface of the floor returning back into their view. Off in the distance was the safe zone, a short walk away from their location. Turning to face the blonde he gave a nod, "Nice work today Oikawa. No idea why Xion decided to hold off on the dungeon exploration, but we'll not worry about that. Best be getting back to the safezone before dark right?"
