[OP-F1] Walking on Sunshine

Recommended Posts

A soft breeze came sweeping by as Kira sat up on top of a hill overlooking the Town of Beginnings. She has been sitting here silently for hours admiring the view and mulling over the fact the she's stuck here. The place is beautiful, none that she has ever seen before, but being able to see this place came at a price. A price she wasn't willing to pay. "Why me... why did it have to be me..." Although silent, her feelings can be well perceived. She sat there silently watching the sun sink into the horizon and the night came.

The breeze from the hills were a welcome change to the three days of rain that Akeidan experience. "Thank... you... God!! Now this is nice!" He said with a measure of youthful exuberance. The rolling hills made the winds slap him in the face. It was refreshing and revitalizated his spirit. Upon the hill was what appeared to be a young lady. He smiled and jumped down beside her. "There you are! Nice weather we are having huh?" He said as if they were old friends.

"What the... who is this guy?" She was curious and a bit... frantic. She hasn't spoken a word to anyone ever since she logged into this game, so why is this guy overly friendly with her? Don't get me wrong, it's easily understandable to miss judge someone's friendly demeanor as friendly. Sometimes it comes off as creepy. And this guy gave her the creeps. "There you are!"  of all the things he could've first said to her, it were those three words. It sounds as if he's been stalking her since she took her firsts steps in Aincrad. This guy, although the first friendly face she's met here, is without a doubt a creeper.

"Uh... hi..." Frail words came out of her mouth. She has no intention of conversing, so a simple greeting should suffice and end it there.

Khrysaor was walking on the outskirts of the Town of Beginning. When he saw a girl who looked pretty new to the game, sitting atop a hill watching the town. She looked like she was about the same age as him. Khrysaor could tell even from the distance that she was having a hard time grasping at the fact that they were stuck in this game until it was beaten. He thought about helping her out and try to help raise her spirits. But decided against it, until he heard a familiar looking player jump down beside the girl and surprise her. As he got a closer look at the player, Khrysaor was able to recognize him as a player he met a few days before when they had attempted to stop Hydra from making a big mistake.

He could tell the young lady was terrified and wanted some assistance, so he called out, "Hey, can't you see you are creeping out this beautiful maiden. You should show her some proper manners, it is not a way to talk to a lady, especially when it looks like she does not recognize you." Khrysaor then went up to the girl and asked, "Would you like some help?" He smiled down at her, and directed his arm towards her, indicating if she wanted help getting up from her position on the ground.

Akeidan smiled at her with a pleasant face. "Oh, lighten up and could heard you out here... you sounded depressed. So I did that to either cheer you up or freak you out for my Entertainment. Either you would be a little less depress then before." He brushed off the grass from his skin and pick up and began to walk away.

" I hate laying in the grass... so itchy!" He said like a five year old. "Weeell, good day to you ma'am. Don't let life get you down."

As he was walking the way here too familiar voice shouting from afar. He turned in looked. "Khrysaor, is that you buddy! How have you been?"

Bhairyuu was out for a stroll after having had a nice dinner and thought he would maybe watch the sunset as he always had found that the view of the sky between sunset and nightfall to be strangely mesmerizing to him,  but then he did have a thorough grounding in the fine arts especially painting,  drawing so he figured it was only natural.  As he walked along,  he equipped his shiny new Silver Cutlass just in case his leisurely stroll were to be interrupted by an enemy and then continued to head toward the hill which he had found gave him the best view of that twilight time he loved so much.  As he got nearer,  however,  he saw that his favorite spot had already been taken by someone,  by the looks of them,  a young woman who looked like she just started out and a short distance away from her,  a male player and last but not least,  Khrysaor.

So he decided to call out to Khrysaor once he came within earshot,  his powerful rich baritone but somewhat melodious voice resounding through the air easily

"Yo,  Khrys!! What's up,  bro?!  You come to watch the scenery too,  eh?"

Immediately, the silver haired swordsman placed his hand on the his blade. His eyes trained on the expected variable, like he was the a complete and unavoidable danger. He moved his feet apart, the gravel made mounts. Instinctively, he stood in front of the girl and slight push his blade from the sheath. After it was confirmed that he was a friendly he lacked himself. and let his sword fall by his side. Turned to pay the guy her respects both heading out, but he was notice his steadying hand was shaking. He moved it from sight, and walked up the hill to talk to Khrysaor. It had been sometime since he had seen the Raven, the last time was upon the mountain with the Hydra.  To be honest he wasn't sure he remembered him. But after that day he had this insatiable lust for power.

"Khrysaor-san!" He said to draw attention back to him. This was his way of making sure that his presence was not ignored. He stucks his hand out to the mysterious man,"And you are?" he said with a intense tone.

Bhairyuu had been waiting for Khrysaor to reply when, surprisingly enough, he was accosted by the other male who was with Khrysaor on the hill next to the young woman. He watched the unknown male begin to draw his blade before walking up to him and let out a soft sigh as he realized he should have made his entrance a little more noticeable

"Ah ....dono yō ni mendō... looks like I should have made my entrance a little more noticeable and  also not equipped my cutlass...oh well...no use crying over spilled milk..."

After being lost in his thoughts in this manner for a few seconds, Bhairyuu snapped his attention back to the present moment and observed the unknown male extend a hand while asking him to identify himself. So, since he did not want to cause any unnecessarily troublesome misunderstandings, Bhairyuu replied to the male in his baritone but melodious voice with a cordial smile on his thin lips and an equally friendly expression in his narrow jade green eyes as he attempted to salvage the situation.

"The name is Bhairyuu, but you can just call me Ryuu if you prefer...but you know, before asking someone else about themselves...it is customary to introduce your own name first...Anyway, it's a pleasure to meet another ally/friend of my good buddy Khrys."

Young blade master rested his hand and cocked his head to one side. He squirted his eyes and then his face went blank.  He judge to be a stand up guy and he smile at him. "Ok, Ryuu-san , you can call me Juryoku-san" he said with an eerie sense of satisfaction. He played his hands on the once mysterious man. "I am glad to meet your acquaintance and I that we can work together in the future... that is if we are still alive."

He looked at the surprisingly silent Khrysaor. It definitely wasn't his style to be this quiet for that long.
