Emblem 0 Posted June 25, 2016 Author #21 Share Posted June 25, 2016 Emblem blocked out Victor from his mind. He didn't want to lose concentration in the fight with the boar. He walked closer to the boar staring it down. He ran at the beast with his sword ready to stab. On his way to the monster he tripped on a nearby stone. He fell to the ground and felt his sword fly to the right of him skidding to a halt a few feet away. The boar took its chance and charged at him. Emblem tried to get up only to get tackled by the boar. He watched it ram its tusk into his shoulder. Emblem pulled the boar off of him the kicked it to the side and retrieved his sword. Your a feisty one aren't ya. Emblem looked at his shoulder where he was rammed by the boar to see red fragments coming out of his shoulder. He shook it off then put his sword back up ready for it's next strike. Emblem: 33/36 Boar: 15/18 BD: 2 MD: 7 ID: 62173
Victor 0 Posted June 26, 2016 #22 Share Posted June 26, 2016 (edited) Victor had to control his urge to laugh at the boy's dismal attempts at fighting the creature. It also seemed like he'd picked a beef with the beefiest one of the lot. Well fighting the big guy would probably ensure the little ones ran away, but then in case they decided to rally and protect their leader, the blonde boy would be in trouble. So far they were too far away to notice. Vic raised his leg onto the branch and watched eagerly as the match between the boar and the boy progressed. Earlier the boy had quipped that Victor wasn't brave enough, the brown haired boy brushed it away as teen talk. The only thing that assured, was no help from Victor unless the boy really seemed like he couldn't handle it. The brown eyes watched with intent, in between he distractedly looked up at the tree to check if he should go higher for more fruit. So for he spotted none... When the boy got hit, Victor decided maybe he could guide Emblem from where he sat. "I've got a good vantage point, if you'd like I can tell you when you should dodge and when you should strike, the boar is a bit slow..." Victor said with a smile, although he was pretty sure, like all stuck up teenagers, there was a high chance Emblem would deny the help. Reveal hidden contents # 62183 results: LD: 9 No mat found. Emblem 0 Posted June 26, 2016 Author #23 Share Posted June 26, 2016 Thanks for the help Victor! I'm fine for now but if things get bad ill call for your help. Emblem making the mistake of talking to Victor didn't see the boar charging at him. At the last second he was able to dodge but he wasn't able to clear the entire boar in time the boars tusk grazed his knee. Gah! Emblem swung his sword down onto the creatures back as it charged past him. This ones a bit smarter isn't it. Emblem jumped back trying to create distance between the two so that when it came in for a charge he would have more time to dodge past it. Well isn't this fun. He grit his teeth then prepared for his next attack. Emblem: 30/36 Boar: 12/18 BD:8 MD:8 ID: 62184
Victor 0 Posted June 26, 2016 #24 Share Posted June 26, 2016 (edited) (OOC: If you'd like you could react and close the post) Vic wasn't sure if he'd heard sarcasm in the boy's voice when he spoke of the help Victor had offered. Didn't work out well for the blonde kid because in his distraction he'd got himself hit. Vic could have enjoyed the running commentary the little one gave as he fought off the boar but when he couldn't spot any more fruits on the tree, he got a little bored. Assuming the boy had probably whittled the boar's HP down enough, Vic calculated and figured out that there was a high chance of him to just finish the mob now. Acting on his plan, he jumped from the tree, landing between the boar and Emblem and struck the boar with two quick slashes on its side. In a matter of seconds the boar oozed enough red pixels to explode into blue ones, leaving the two players at peace and alone again. "I thought I'd help a bit more actively." Vic said with a straight face. "I don't think its safe for me to stick around here if mobs are beginning to spawn, better head back to town." He said with a smile in the direction of Emblem, hoping that his help was enough to win him the kid for an ally. "See you around." He said, ambling back to safety. Emblem 0 Posted June 26, 2016 Author #25 Share Posted June 26, 2016 Emblem looked back to see victor jump in and kill the boar with one quick attack. Umm well thanks Victor. Emblem put his sword back into its sheathe then walked away from the tree and up the hill he had been relaxing on earlier. There was something about that player. Something that he really wanted to figure out but for now he would consider Victor an ally. He watched the brown haired man walk back to the town. Emblem opened his hud and unequipped his sword. I need some new gear. Emblem began walking back to the town to try and enjoy the rest of the evening.
