FPS ? -Opinions-

Hello, I just wanted to know everybody's opinion about FPS (First Person Shooters).

What do you generally think about FPS games? Like them? Dislike them?

Personally I've been playing the CS franchise for a long time. You can say I practically grew up with it. Half-Life, COD, Battlefield... Does anybody play them?

MMO's are great, I love RPG's, but how do you feel about FPS games?

I can't play 'em. Not sure the specific reason but I just don't. Played big red one as my first fps and then sold it not long after. Tried a few more a year ago and just didn't feel like playing 'em.

That's understandable. Thanks for the feedback.

I think that the fast-paced action and the need to improve my own skill made me stick with FPS for so long. Ofcourse if you have some friends playing with you then the experience only improves.

Only one I've truly enjoyed was payday 2 otherwise than that, have no interest inn them. I've always been a third person shooter type because you can observe around you as you do your task.

I've been a massive fan of the FPS genre for a long time. When you can get a good FPS that has a good story + good game play + good mechanics = Great FPS.

Though I've found that most FPS have stumbled on one of those three pieces. Though my Overall favorite FPS, though unfortunately had mixed reviews of " MAG " for the PS3. Which I believe was the first FPS game to allow 256 players on 1 server.

That game was epic for awhile, though the company made some mistakes and soon dropped off the face of the planet. Which after awhile caused the game to become less and less fun. Till it became almost unplayable.
