Helios entered the newly-made shop, which was run by a new friend of his, and smiled. "Hey, Kasier! I see you did end up opening a new shop." The young man said, stepping up to the counter. Taking a look at the the equipment behind the counter, he could tell it was a coffee shop. Picking up an order form, he began writing out the information for his requested food item.

Then, the noirette handed back the sheet as well as four materials to pay for the drink. "Thanks a lot," He began, "I'll come back to pick it up as soon as you finish crafting it!" Helios told the woman as he began stepping out of the shop. Even after exiting, he could still smell the great coffee being brewed.

Kasier smiled. She had just opened her shop not too long ago and she was already receiving customers. Although the customer was someone that she knew and knew her, it was great that people were coming in for her coffee already. She had hoped that Helios would pay using Col but she guessed she was a bit overeager with the price that she set for that coffee. Oh well... I mean... It's really high quality coffee. She thought, receiving the four materials with a huge grin on her face. "These materials will be put to good use, sir!" She said, giving the man a bow as she received the pre-payment. "Thanks, Helios! You're my first customer! I'll make sure to do my best while making this coffee!" She said, rushing to the kitchen where all the magic happens. With her first crafting ever, she was unable to produce anything. She added a bit too much sugar into it and it was spoiled, completely useless and a failure of a coffee. However, her second coffee was rather decent. It had a sort of side effect and could give a player enhancements as well. Because this was her first crafting day... She was rather pleased with what she was able to produce. With a smile, she carefully took the coffee and placed it in the fridge where she would store lots and lots of dank coffee.

Kasier found the fact that at the moment, she was only able to craft two items at once. This was extremely frustrating because she had a customer waiting for her items to finish but she was still yet to craft them... And don't even mention today's progress. Today was an absolute disaster. In her kitchen, she had already pre-heated the water and the coffee machine and checked that everything was perfectly fine. However, as she went ahead to insert the first ingredients in, she found out that the coffee maker was jammed from too much water. With frustration, she poured the ingredients and the water out, wasting a material as well as a crafting attempt for the day. The first craft of the day did not go so well at all. In fact, it went absolutely terribly. Still, one must push through challenges and so Kasier decided that she would once more attempt to craft and perhaps make a perfect coffee this time. Still, she was unable to do so, much to her misery. This time, the coffee maker didn't jam... Everything seemed to go by perfectly... However, because of how low her rank was, she was unable to craft the perfect item that she needed and hence, she would have to wait yet another day in hopes of being able to finish the coffee that the black haired friend had ordered.

After the previous session of crafting, she decided that it would be a good opportunity to take a break from all the coffee making. Her crafting results were completely unsuccessful and the best item that she had crafted so far was an uncommon item... Completely useless in terms of ranking up her cook status really quickly. Helios was probably still waiting in his room somewhere... Curled up in coldness and waiting for that perfect coffee which will save his life but she was still unable to make it. Hence, after taking a break to hopefully get rid of the bad luck, she decided that she would get right back into making the coffee. With her amber eyes filled with determination... She pulled out the basic coffee maker that she needed before inserting the ingredients and after using a material and tasting the coffee that she created, she realized that the coffee was completely useless and tasteless. It's a failure. She thought. However, without stopping, she began once more on her next crafting attempt. Her dark hair flew in the air as she cleared hair from her face. Soon, after some deep concentration, she was able to create coffee that was actually edible. Sure, the coffee was literally useless in terms of buffing so no players will buy it since no one actually has fun in this game. Kasier will probably use it herself some day. For now, she was just going to put it on her shelf in case a rare player who likes to have fun comes around and buys it.

Kasier sighed as she realized that it was time to craft again. She had set a schedule for herself to craft at the same time every night but this time, she delayed for about thirty minutes because of how bad her crafting had been so far. She had literally failed all her crafts... Obtaining only one good item and only one uncommon item so far into her crafting. The fact that she only has about two crafts per day isn't helping with her rank gaining as a cook. Once more, she walked into her kitchen with her head held high despite her past failures... In fact, the only semi-success she has had so far was the uncommon item that she obtained on her first day of crafting. Once more, her crafts would turn out to be only disappointment. Her hair flew in the air as she concentrated fully on the coffee maker. With a praying heart, she began to craft. However, both her attempts had failed and once more, Helios would just have to continue waiting until Kasier can finally get lucky and create the item that he wants. At this point, Kasier would just get one EXP per crafting and maybe... Maybe Kasier would be able to rank up just from these failed items. With a sigh, she walked out of her kitchen and since she was quite tired, she began to sleep. The day had been a tough one and the fact that she failed both her crafts didn't help at all either.

Kasier walked back into her shop. She really, really, really, really, really hoped that she would be able to make any coffee of any sorts. The last time that she attempted to craft resulted in two failed coffee that she definitely threw away without hesitation. This time, however, she was hoping for a good result... A good series of crafting. She had taken a break from the previous day just so she can start the day of crafting without any bad memories. With a sigh, she put on her apron and began to craft. With a newly fetched cocoa bean inserted into the coffee making machine, she began to stir up the material within the coffee machine. Finally, after lots of blood and sweat, she finally created some sort of coffee. It looked great and with her eyes gleaming to taste the results, she carefully took a sip of the hot, moist liquid before spitting out what she tasted. It was an absolute terrible taste... Kind of like toothpaste... A flavor that was completely different than what Kasier had originally wanted the flavor to be like. However, all hope was not lost. There was still one more crafting attempt and Kasier prayed to the RNGesus up above for a good result. In the end, all she got was a soppy brown pool of water on the floor. Kasier cursed under her breath and headed to the closet so she can clean up the failed attempt... Which was four times in a row at this point.

Kasier sighed. She had failed both of her crafts yesterday and spent the day with Itzal for some peaceful and chilled material gathering. Indeed, hopefully the peacefulness would be enough to perk her crafting skills and result in her creating something. Anything will do as long as it is actually edible. She'd only created two things that could actually be digested so far and there was no question that she was disappointed with her results so far into being a coffee maker. Eventually, she wants to be just like Starbucks in real life, overpriced and crowded but right now, she was getting no customers and her prices were really, really cheap. She knew that it would take a long time to become the best cook in the world of Aincrad especially since so many people have already started crafting way ahead of her. Sure, a lot of them have already died and one of the most significant deaths of a cook is a man called Ssendom. She'd heard about him... Especially since he was considered a legend of cooking. Without another second going to waste, she began to craft, starting by inserting materials into her coffee making machine. Her first craft was a successful one to her surprise although the coffee was far from perfect... It didn't even have any sort of enhancements on it. However, no matter how you look at it, it was a better crafting attempt than the previous two as well as the next one. Her next attempt was a complete fail. Fail to the point that there is no point of explaining how bad the coffee tasted anymore.

Kasier was hoping that she'd be able to create something that was different from what she usually created and considering the fact that she usually created absolute garbage, this shouldn't be that hard of a task. She was fully aware that it was really hard for a newbie to craft something so perfect if she was just starting out. However, there was some point of border in which the lack of crafting results can really get to the player. This, of course, was the perfect example of frustration. Still, since the day started with a peaceful material gathering and some laying in flowers with Itzal, she was sure that she would be able to create something. Also, she was actually really close to ranking up as a cook. Soon, she'll be rank 2 and becoming a businesswoman from there would only be a short amount of time. It gets harder and more progressive to rank up as she ranks up but that is fine with her since one gets more crafting attempts per day as well. Hence, she would need to get as much materials as she possibly can and one of the most effective ways in which she can do so is to complete <<Earning a Living>> with lots and lots of repetition. Sure, it could be boring but she can always bring a few friends along or something. "Alright. Time to get down to crafting!" Kasier said, bringing out all the ingredients from her inventory so she can begin with her crafting. In the end, she was able to create an uncommon item... The other item? Let's not talk about that. The positive thing is... She was finally a rank 2 cook!

It was her first night as a rank 2 cook. The path here was a long and hard one. However, there were many moons of hard work and struggles to go if she wants to continue to strive for one of the best cooks in the world of Aincrad. The path to glory was a hard one and she knew that if she wanted to succeed, she would have to rely solely on hard work and sheer determination as well as lots of blood and tears. Heck, she might even have to do 100 push-ups, 100 pull-ups every single day. It's going to be a hard path but this is the path that Kasier had chosen so this will be the road that she walks. The road less chosen... Some people call it. A hard road, a road that people don't speak about due to how long crafting takes and the fact that no one really orders stuff from you because it's totally fine to not eat in this game of Swords Art Online. "Alright then... Let's get crafting." She said, pushing up her sleeves. She had just picked up her new armor from a blacksmith on the first floor and she was very satisfied with it. Now, she hoped that her satisfaction would transfer unto her crafts as well. Remember... She had three opportunities this time instead of just two and hence, there'll definitely be a better chance for her to make something significant. With her luck? Unlikely... And her assumptions were proven to be correct.

Today, Kasier was feeling up to the action. She wanted to make this coffee that Helios had ordered from her and any other result today was unacceptable. Hence, she pulled out her vanity coffee maker and began to create coffee, hoping that she'll be able to obtain this perfect item and hence private message Helios so he can pick it up. With a sigh, she began to craft. Somehow, she felt that today was the day. Today was going to be the day that she finally creates her first perfect item. And, indeed, she was able to do so. Her first craft resulted in a coffee that was perfection... Even perfect for her own high standards. Still, that was only one craft and no matter how excited she was, she had two more to do. Perhaps she'll be able to obtain two more perfect cook results... If so, she was sure that she'll rank up as a cook soon after. With her hands free of ingredients, she began her other two crafts as well. Soon, after about twenty minutes, she walked out of the kitchen with a rare coffee and a good coffee in her hand. She is sure that she won't be able to sleep today due to how excited she was with her crafting results. It was pretty late at night at this point so she wasn't sure whether Helios was awake at the moment. She'll just PM him and if he was awake, he can pick it up since she won't be sleeping for a while as a result of her drinking one of her coffee.

Shizuka walked into a random shop on the first floor. It had been a while since she had come out into the sunlight… She had served her time in the front lines and would now much rather just stay in the villages and spend a good life with Lowenthal. However, she still had different items and equipment that she wanted to give away to a special individual. Indeed, that would be a healer that she had recently heard of… That person would receive all the remainder of the items that she has in her inventory and hopefully, that woman would stay to be active as well. This might be the last time that she will come out from the countryside ever again, and hopefully, it would be worth it. Shizuka walked into the shop, her hands lingering over her inventory button before she clicked on the button and handed Kasier of all of her possessions as a healer so she can spend time with her darling Lowenthal.

Kasier smiled. The motivation was high at the moment and she was glad that she had made a decision to finally come back to this dreaded place and start up her crafting. Currently, she had about one hundred or so materials just sitting in her inventory, not being used in any way. Of course, she desired to use up these materials in some way and finally, after thinking about it for a couple of minutes, she returned to this shop which took her a while to find before opening up the security measures and opening the door for the first time in ages. As one would expect, the place was completely filled with dust and clouds of dirtiness, as one would expect from a location that has been unused for a few months now... Might have actually been years to be fair. Without a word, she began the cleanup process and before night falls, she made sure to craft a few items and make the most out of the materials in her inventory.

Twice in two days... Two days in a row that she had remembered to actually craft and make the use out of her materials. It wasn't easy... That's for sure but she had to do it eventually. Indeed, she had finally, once again, gained interest in crafting as a cook and this time, she hoped that it would last until the end of the game. Perhaps by the end, she will become one of the greatest chefs in this game. Itzal did say that her food wasn't bad at all and hopefully, he wasn't lying just to make her feel better. If she went all the way up to rank ten though, by that point, her food will be absolutely amazing. It's too early to start dreaming about that as she was not even close to the half way point yet. She still had materials to burn through and today was one of those days that she will not hesitate to use them. Without a word, she walked into the shop and began her cooking - the resulting food was a surprisingly pleasing one.

Last time that Kasier crafted had proven to be quite the success. This time, however, it might not be the same case. It was inevitable really, that trends would go back to the average after they exceed expectations. Just like she expected, the moment that she walked into the shop, she realized that she was not feeling up to the task of crafting and as she began, her tools began to break down. Kasier sighed, it was time for some new equipment, new tools that might be able to boost her crafting and experience gaining. With a whistle, Kasier threw away three of the items that she crafted, assuming that good items were basically useless and unable to help any players in this game. Plus, she already had quite the amount of good items that she stored up, literally gathering dust in the cabinets that no one wants to buy. Of course, as a low-leveled cook, customers were rare... That's how it is and that's how it is going to be until she levels up more.
