Today was the day! Elyth was going to go and fight to the death!

No, she wasn't. But something like that. She was now going to attempt the process of arduously exterminating various simulated creatures to raise her mediocre level.

Elyth grabbed her sword and headed out of Urbus.

The first monster Elyth saw in the field was a bull. It looked too much like one of her animal plushies; so much that she didn't even want to kill it. But fine. Grinding is grinding.

She readied her sword, aiming at the bull's trapezius muscle.

Elyth's first hit was critical. The blade barely hit the Bull, but at least it swiped at the bull's most vunerable place- the back of its neck. Elyth quickly jumped back for another attack, hoping that the Bull would be one that charges straight ahead.

Sure enough, it did. Elyth quickly sidestepped.

She lifted her blade and went in for another attack, jumping up and slashing at the bull's neck again as it charged past her. Elyth had been unharmed.

Yep, today was a really good day. Elyth jumped atop the bull this time, and plunged her sword into its back.

It was now the bull's turn to attack. The bloodlust in its eyes made Elyth shudder, and cleared away all thoughts of this thing being her plushie. It charged.

Elyth just couldn't stop herself from snickering. Seriously, this bull was failing miserably to kill her, and doing it so epicly too. She activated <> and propelled herself to the bull's side.

She had failed to step aside. That was a fatal mistake. But never again would it be committed! Elyth got serious, and stabbed the bull's side again.

It seems that the tides were forever changing. This time, they were in the bull's favor. Elyth desperately sidestepped his attack.

Only narrowly did Elyth avoid being hit again. Once more, she attacked.

Yes! She finally connected an attack with the bull itself. Now it was the bull's turn, so Elyth jumped away.

It was amazing to Elyth how fickle the spirits of battle were. Wait... Spirits of Battle? What? Okay then.

The bull charged at Elyth with a Critical Hit of its own.

"Oof," she said as the battering ram hit her.

Immediately, she pulled herself up and rushed forward recklessly to attack.

As expected, that didn't work. Elyth rushed away from the bull's attack, and sat down leisurely to refresh herself. The bull, angered by this display of confidence, ran at Elyth, who promptly stood up and- *ding* -landed an attack between the eyes before crashing into the trees behind her.

Elyth took a breath and got up again, determined to finish off this special bull who happened to have 15 HP and looked like her plushie.

She rushed at the creature, and grabbed her sword, pulling it out of the bull's head, and slashed down from the tip of its head to its chest.

The attack caused no damage, but served its purpose. The beast was now stunned, and could not attack. Thus, Elyth performed its attack for it, and slashed wildly.
