Perhaps if Elyth attacked it with fire, it would burn? She immediately ducked to avoid a whipping stalk of barley, and took out a box of matches she had bought in case she got lost again. She broke free of the barley binding her, and accidentally pulled out the main body of the plant from underground. Seeing the writhing roots of the plant, Elyth began screaming, before deciding to light that on fire too. The sword came down fast, and buried itself in the grain creature's central stalk. This had just escalated to a whole 'nother level. Elyth turned around, intending to walk back home. This time, she saw a small boar.
