Xion'seyes slowly flickered open. He couldn't see much, everything was dark exept for a small beam of light emenating from somewhere, although, from where exactly he didn't know. "Where..." he mumbled as his head stopped pounding and he slowly came to his senses, the blonde shaking his head to wake up properly. It suddenly dawned on the man that all he was wearing were rags, his armour was gone, presumably in the crate outside of his cell which he could just about make out in the darkness. As he tried to move he foudn that his hands were bound, although not tight enough to stop someone with his strength in SAO, as the blonde, after some struggling broke free of his binds, a notification for the <<escape>> quest appearing before him as he stood up. "So...I need to get out, arm myself and fight until I am free...simple enough" Xion said before walking up to the wrought Iron gate, the blonde delivering a punch to the aged bars, which rattled and rang as he struck them. "This will take some time..." he noted.

As the blonde looked at the gate and tried to find the best place to hit he heard something, voices, distant, although not hushed or anything. "So...the guards are that close?" he said to himself as he tried to listen in on them catching a few words. "Prisoner...money...payment...offer" he heard these words among other things, although it would seem that they were talking about some deal that they had made, one which would end in a great amount of profit for them. "Typical..." the blonde said as he tapped a section of the gate, trying to guess which was the weakest point. "It's all about the money..." he mumbled before kicking the gate, the crude object ringing and clanging as his foot impacted with it."It's loosening...I can tell. It just needs a few more hits.

With a sigh Xion stepped away from the gate. "It's a stubborn bastard...bloody thing needs to come undone soon or I will get the berserker skill right here and now" the tank said, his voice laced with annoyance and frustration as he stared at his iron enemy, it's apparent weakness served only to taunt him as freedom was so close. "It shouldn't take too much longer...I hope..." he said before running at the door and punching it again, he heard the creaking of metal and a metallic groan as whatever was holding it together was put under some serious pressure. Grinning, the tank looked at it. "Nearly done..."

"Damn thing...needs to break already..." Xion muttered to himself as he stepped away from the gate, preparing himself to break it down. He knew it could be done, well, it was more that he knew it was what the game wanted him to do, and so he would oblige and do as the developers wished. With a deep breath, the blonde lashed out with his right fist violently, striking the gate as he heard a crack, followed by metallic scraping as it fell out of it's frame, Xion grinning as he cracked his knuckles, slowly stepping out of his cell. "Finally...now to wreak havoc with some NPCs..." he said to himself as he walked over to the crate which held his gear

The blonde knelt down next to the crate and placed a hand on it. "My gear should be in here...better be quick" he said to himself as he went about cracking it open as quietly as he could, not wanting to draw any attention to himself before he was equipped as while he was strong 90% of that was his armour, without it and his shield his defences were reduced to nothing and his HP was completely unprotected by mitigation. As he managed to get inside the box he smiled, seeing his black red and gold armour. "There..." he said as he put the heavy armour on, stretching slightly as he gripped his Glaive in his right hand, his shield strapped to his left arm. Once again the tank heard some voices, a continuation of the previous conversation. "They sound like they're right around the corner..." he mumbled to himself.

Cautiously the tank walked around the corner, his head peeking around to see the two guards conversing, one of them holding a two handed spear, and the other a one handed variant. "Shouldn't be too hard to beat, I doubt they can penetrate my armour" he said before the two turned to see him. "There! the bastard's escaped!" one said before Xion sighed and walked out to face them, holding his shield up in a ready stance. The two guards swung and missed with their weapons narrowly, Xion doing the same as they weren't hindered by heavy armour like the tank was.

As Xion faced the two guards they circled around him, presumably to find a way to attack him safely. "You won't find an opening..." he told them, as he moved his shield, following their movements as best he could. Before long the two decided to attack, the heads of their spears harmlessly bouncing off of his armour as the tank grinned. "Goodbye" he said to them as his thorns took effect and the two were destroyed completely. "They were too weak, hopefully I get a real fight at some point in this"

After defeating the Bandits with his thorns Xion set off in order to find the exit, the blonde gingerly looking around corners as he did, becoming almost jumpy and nervous at the slightest sound. Exactly why he was scared he didn't know, he had no reason to fear the bandit guards as they could be killed with one round of his thorns, but it was something about the long, dimly lit corridors, the winding labyrinth of twists and turns that got to him. "This place gives me the chills..." he muttered to himself as he continued onward.

The blonde tank continued to wander through the bandit's dungeon, his armour clanking and scraping against the floor as he slowly made his way around the complex, trying to stay hidden as he wanted to get through the quest and get out as quickly as he could. As he turned a corner he heard more voices, which he presumed to be more guards. "How many are there?" he asked himself as he slowly walked. From what he heard of their conversation they didn't know he had escaped. "Good, I don't have an army looking for me" he muttered.

As Xion rounded another corner gingerly his armour scraped against the wall rather loudly. "What was that?" he heard a guard ask before he heard footsteps getting closer and closer. "[censored]...alerted them" he said before  another pair of spear wielding guards ran towards him. "Alright, more lambs to the slaughter" he said as he drew his Glaive and circled around them, the two guards stabbed at him but the tank dodged narrowly before swinging with his own weapon, missing them too.

"We're gonna take ya down and drag you to the boss for a sound thrashing" one of the guards said as they both stared Xion down, the tank refusing to falter or move aside. "I would like to see an army of you try to take me down, you would all perish without me lifting a finger" Xion said in response before the two attacked, their spears somehow getting past his thorns as they attacked the joints of his armour which were the least protected. Xion attempted a counter attack, swinging his glaive in a wide arc but the two blocked his blow with ease.

 As the battle continued Xion sighed, he knew that all he had to do was wait for the bandits to attack him and be killed by his thorns, but for some reason it was taking them quite a long time to do that. As the guards swung and stabbed with their weapons, missing spectacularly Xion had to chuckle. "Stop trying to hit me and hit me" he said to them before stabbing with his own glaive, the blade of the weapon narrowly missing one of the guards.

As the three continued to fight Xion became more and more frustrated with the fact that he was yet to defeat his two enemies. They were weak, so weak that one round of his thorns was enough to completely destroy them while he took little to no damage, but somehow they had managed to bypass his thorns somehow. As the guard went to attack again Xion tried to block with his shield, but he failed and the guards managed to avoid being damaged by his thorns once more. "Oh [censored] come on!" Xion yelled as he drove his glaive into one of them, dealing minimal damage.

"How much health does this bastard have!?" one of the guards remarked as they looked at the pitiful amount of damage that they had dealt, the other one gulping and looking to his ally. "It's all that armour see, wuss is hiding from our attacks!". Xion shook his head before raising his shield. "I'm no coward, I stare at death and I laugh, I see danger as merely an inconvenience. You do not scare me, and you will not kill me" he said before the bandits attacked again, once more managing to bypass his thorns, the tank swinging with his glaive but missing. "Aha! You can't keep this up forever" one of the bandits remarked before Xion's HP rose back to full. "Oh but I can, I'm a tank. My build is made for drawn out fights, and thus you have no hope of killing me"

The jaws of the bandit Guards dropped. "How the...screw it just attack!" one of them said before they went at it yet again, stabbing and swinging at Xion but missing completely with each and every attempt. Xion simply sighed. "Idiots" he remarked before lowering his guard and stabbing at one of them with his glaive, the tank missing as he let out a frustrated huff. "This is taking too bloody long...why do they keep on missing and bypassing my thorns"

"You going to actually hurt me yet?" Xion casually asked the guards as the circled him, the two of them concentrating on trying to find a weak spot in his armour again. "You know, it's probably easier if you two just straight up attacked me, things would be so much quicker then" he told them before the two stabbed at him again, the tank sidestepping and dodging them easily. Xion the swung downwards with his glaive, the weapon simply missing and striking the floor.

With a sigh Xion watched the two bandits circle him, their comparatively small, weak, and pitiful weapons were nothing to the man. He was not scared in any way shape or form by them, he had no reason to be. The two men attacked again, missing the tank as he dodged lazily, their skill at arms was so appalling that very little effort was required to dodge their blows. In response the tank lashed out with his glaive, the blade of the weapon missing by an inch.

The bandits continued to circle the tank, glaring at him as they did as if they were trying to intimidate him. "A futile effort" he noted under his breath as they lunged at him again, the tank sidestepping with little effort to dodge them as he sighed. "This is getting boring you know" he told the NPCs as he swung with his galive, somehow missing again as they dodged.

After some circling the bandits decided that simply rushing Xion was a good idea, the two yelling as they clumsily charged at him, one of them scratched his armour harmlessly, the other missing completely and running past him as his momentum carried him. "Why are they so incompetent?" Xion asked no one in particular as he stabbed at one of them, missing and sighing. "Can this please [censored] end..."

Xion and the bandits seemed to have come to a standstill, neither could land a clean hit on each other and even when Xion did land a hit it didn't matter, the tank's pitiful damage couldn't break through their mitigation at all and the tank was forced to wait until he was struck by his opponents, if they ever did that is. "Hey, you know that massive bloody shield I'm holding? You know you guys really want to just thrust into it" he said to them in a mocking tone as they continued to dance around each other almost, not wanting to attack unless it left them open, well the bandits didn't. With a sigh Xion dropped his guard and left himself wide open, his glaive wasn't in position to block any attack neither was his shield, and then the bandits attacked, as they though they were taking advantage of the perfect opening. As their spears penetrated Xion's form the tank laughed, the two bandits exploding into shards of data quickly. "That took too long, time to move on" the blonde said.
