[SP-F4] «Earning a Living» The Wandering Alchemist VIII

The chilling wind of the 4th floor came blowing by as the wanderer trudged through the snow pushing his way to the  mob field that he farms for his materials. He's not exactly low on materials, but with his recent rank up to rank 9 in Alchemy, he's been using a lot of materials. It becomes become even more of a nuisance to keep stock up constantly and keeping his leveling progress steady. He's been at this grind since he started this death game and there's no reason to stop now. Especially since he's almost a Grandmaster in Alchemy. That said, he looks forward to fields. He could see the mobs roaming just off in the distance already.

As he kept pushing through the snow, the wanderer waves his fingers in the air. Within in seconds, he takes out a potion which he quickly drinks. It's going to be game time soon.

Greater Damage Potion II Used [+4 Damage]

As the wanderer reaches the field, he quickly spots a group of 4 Ice Wraiths. Without a second thought, the wanderer quickly rushes the group of mobs. Once he was close enough, the wanderer pushes himself off the ground and into the air. While in the air, he quickly unsheathes his new katana. "Juuchi Yosamu... Kill," the wanderer whispers to himself. Suddenly, his black steel blade begins to glow azure with a chilling aura about it. The wanderer then swings his blade twice. In that moment, he cleaves the mobs in two like it's nothing.

As the wanderer stood there, he stared at his new blade. It was a lot stronger than his last one so he really appreciated it's power. It was pretty overwhelming how strong it was, but that doesn't really come as a surprise. The wanderer did reach the highest rank possible with the katana so it's power should be obvious. Even more so at the wanderer's current level.

As the wanderer looks around, he quickly spots another group of Ice Wraiths. Within seconds, the wanderer came charging at the group once again. Like last time, he jumps off the ground and into the air. With one fell sweep, he drew his blade and cleaved through the group like butter.

As the wanderer stood there, the pixels of the dead Ice Wraiths surrounded him. He mind still couldn't wrap his thoughts on his sudden power spike. It was subtle and sudden. Once he hit level 25 he was able to use his new equipment and his power spiked ridiculously. That extra 3 damage that he was able to add to his weapon really made a huge difference and he can see it's results plain as day, as he farms for materials.

After a few minutes of zoning out and lost in thought, the wanderer's mind came back to reality. The snow fall was starting to pick up, but that didn't faze the wanderer. This was his home after all. This mild snowfall was just another day in the park for him. He wrapped his jacket that he wore on his shoulders, tighter around him before beginning to wander around. Looking at his HUD, his energy pool should fully regen soon.

The wanderer shifted his eyes across the fields. His energy pool was just about to fill up completely and he didn't want to waste anymore time. Over in the distance, he spots a nice group of mobs just itching to be killed and be farmed. The wanderer slowly starts making his way towards the group when a familiar glint pops up in the corner of his eye. It's been awhile since he's spotted any materials just laying about, and waiting to be grabbed but this day seems to be the day he'll find one. He strayed off from his targeted group of mobs to pick some flowers. With a quick tug, the wanderer collects the azure flower.

After collecting the random azure flower that the wanderer spotted, he quickly made his way to the group of Ice Wraiths he spotted earlier. He had no plans of letting that group get away, as the wanderer had been focusing on killing Ice Wraiths. That specific group of Ice Wraiths were the nearest one and the wanderer had no plans on trying to search for another group.

Once he felt close enough, the wanderer's walk slowly shifted from a job, then eventually into a sprint. Then, like before, the wanderer jumped up in the air. With a quick draw of his blade, the wanderer cuts two semi circles around him which cleaved all four of the Ice Wraiths.

As the wanderer stood there, surrounded by the pixels of the dead Ice Wraiths, he spots another group of Ice Wraiths just a few feet away. The wanderer didn't waste any time. Within seconds, the swordsman went from standing still to a full blow sprint towards the next group. Unlike before, he didn't jump in the air. With one fell sweep, the wanderer runs into the middle of the group and quickly draws his nodachi. In an azure flash, the group of Ice Wraiths break into pixels. They didn't even have any time to react to the wanderer's attack.
