If he was being honest, Calrex was half-expecting Zandra to retract her initial offer. He had guessed that Manta and Ebony were particularly close with the alchemist, and Teayre's act had left a large scar with her, a stigma that would be carried for a particularly long time. The fact that the woman had decided to put her trust in his words, and bet on what he himself believed in was a vote of confidence, and an attestment to her mental fortitude. A smile came to his face as he gave a nod, "I'm glad you trust me Zandra. I will, and am, doing what I can, and hopefully you can meet the woman I fell in love with."

Extending his own hand he shook his teammate's, contractually sealing the agreement, "You can be sure I'll do my best to uphold this agreement, and will make sure I don't cross it. After all, I try my hardest to be a man of my word."

Returning his hand to his pocket the bluenette scanned the area once again, making sure the place they were standing was secure, "Alright then, I think with that we'd best be getting back to the safe zone. We may be high level, but it may be only a matter of time before the monsters get up enough determination to try and attack us, heh."

Escorting both back into the settlement's borders Calrex gave a small sigh of relief before giving a parting wave to Zandra, "I'll be sure to let you know if I see Jomei anywhere, and will be sure to stop by your shop. With the floor raids coming up I may eventually be in need of healing, but in the meantime I've made do with safeguards, heh. Catch you around Zandra."
