Rynn 0 Posted April 7, 2014 #1 Share Posted April 7, 2014 «Rynn» Profile » Username: Rynn » Real name: Hayase Hibiki » Age: 26 » Gender: Female » Height/Weight: 1.88m (6’2â€)/76Kg (168lbs) » About: Hibiki used to think she had her life figured out. See, most kids who’s parents divorced end up kind of screwed up in the head. Especially when their mother remarries, and you wind up with a step-brother less than half your age. Hibiki, however, got along fantastically with her new family. She loved her brother, Sanji, as if they were related by blood. Her step dad, while not the easiest guy to hold a conversation with, was a pretty high ranked salary man, so that was nice. On top of this, Hibiki had her passion. She was a pro-athlete in the making, skipping out on high school to focus on training to be an Olympian. Bar none, Hibiki was a favorite to be her nation’s representative in the decathelon, and she trained hard night and day to try and earn her shot at the gold. It wasn’t a prefect life, but it was a good one. Funny how little effort it takes to knock everything out of alignment. One minute, your whole life makes sense and the next its broken to pieces. The little thing that shattered her life took the form of a stray newspaper blowing in the wind. If that hadn’t been there, perhaps it wouldn’t have gotten stuck to the windshield of her families car. And had that not happened, then they probably wouldn’t have hit the 18-wheeler coming the other way. And of course, a lot would be different had mom and dad not been killed on impact. Hibiki was lucky, really. She took fairly minor injuries. Sanji also survived, though he was left paralyzed from the waist down. So, in the aftermath, it was up to Hibiki to put the pieces of their lives back together. She probably could have kept training, but her heart wasn’t in it. She poured her effort into taking care of her brother, becoming his legal guardian. She got a job, nothing big mind you, but just enough to pay the bills. Sometimes she had to do less enjoyable things to pay rent, but somehow the two of them got by. Now, Hibiki was not a gamer of any sorts. Sanji, however, was an enthusiastic fan of all manner of games. Maybe it was escapism. Hibiki saved for almost a year and a half to get Sanji his Nerve gear, and was one of the ‘lucky’ few who got a copy of SAO for him to play. In the real world, Sanji might not be able to walk. But in the virtual one, who knows. The day the game started, Hibiki followed the instruction booklet and set up the system. She figured it would be best to make sure it was all configured and registered before handing it over to her brother, so he’d be able to play right from the get go. She had to register a character for herself, which seemed no big deal since she never planned on playing the game anyway. But the weirdest thing was, once she logged in to the virtual world, she couldn’t figure out how to log off again… » Virtues: Lucky. Not the sort of thing you can easily put your finger on. We’re not talking about ‘win the lottery on your first try’ levels of luck. Its just that, come what may, things seem to turn out in her favor more often than not. Olympian. Hibiki was a hair’s bredth away from being an Olympic athlete, and a gold medal contender in the decathelon. While her physical abilities aren’t quite up to the level they were at in her glory days, she’s still in phenomenal shape. Furthermore, she’s got an unquenchable drive to reach her goals, no matter the hardships she faces. Girl Next Door. Attractive, Friendly, Down To Earth, and all around likable. She’s easy to get along with, despite her flaws, and is a very kind person on the whole. » Flaws: n00b. Rynn has virtually zero experience with RPGs, and little to no familiarity with video games in general. Common tropes and elements of gaming are lost on her, and she has little grasp of the underlying mechanics of the game. Impatient. Rynn has never been a patient person, and hates delays. She often times will rush ahead when she feels that other people are being to slow, much to her detriment. Competitive. Rynn, despite everything, is still a very competitive person. She loves to test herself, and loves to win. More importantly though, she likes to win fair. This means she won’t use ‘cheep’ tactics or take advantages that she feels are unfair to others. It’s a shame other SAO players aren’t likely to return the favor. Profession: Skills Non-combat: » Passive: » Combat: » Weapon skills : » Inventory Weapons/Tools:
