[F4 - El Quarto Instructor Performer] CLOSED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE

Recommended Posts

It had been a long, long time since he'd been crafting, but he had not only received an order.  But he also had seen the update and the many new enhancements added by it.  Two of which he was most excited for as a scout.  The two enhancements were Monster fortune, which added one LD per slot for looting monsters, and the other was Monster favor, which added one CD per slot for looting monsters.  Of course it only worked for one set of monsters, but who cared?  It was bonus loot!  Itzal got to work and started playing songs.  He was failing on every one of them, though he managed to salvage two of them.  Then he decided to try what he did with Apollo:  Record different instruments individually before playing them all together to create a legitimate song with more than one instrument.  This time he was successful in crafting a rare Masterpiece.  Which was another thing that was added.

Itzal had returned to work on his crafting.  This time he was crafting with the item he had received as an award for clearing the Olympian Challenge.  Apollo's Lyre.  It worked wonders for him and using the buffs from the extended workshop in his house.  Or rather, on his back porch would immensely help him to not only have an additional chance at crafting items, but help him greatly speed up his ranking process.  He needed to craft each and every day and hopefully he'd be rank five in no time.  Right now however he needed to focus on crafting.  When he did, he successfully crafted two uncommons, one of them being an uncommon masterpiece.  Two rare, and a single perfect.  The perfect of course was for the customer, but the rest were either support items or debuff items.

Itzal had come back yet again hoping to craft some support songs.  Maybe even support masterpieces if he was lucky.  However he would soon find he wasn't all that lucky for today.  He ended up failing to make a successful craft a total of four times.  The rest were two rare items and four uncommon.  Itzal sighed as he looked at his work, but it wasn't too too bad.  He could still use the uncommon items as needed.  Turning them into monster favor, monster quality and the like, which would give him an advantage when going mob grinding.  Not only that but it would give him additional chances, not just one battle.  It would be interesting to see how well it would work out.  He got excited about it too, now he just wanted to go out and start mob grinding again... But he would save up these items first.

Itzal returned to the shop in order to make another attempt to forge some perfect supportive items.  It was not easy even with his CD boost, as he hadn't been very lucky thus far so he was hoping that would change.  He recently bought another ambition item that he now realized could stack with his current items.  Because of this he hoped to rank up to the maximum rank very, very quickly.  If he could do that, his chances of getting a perfect enhancement would be increased, as well as his chances of getting a masterpiece.  He made his attempts for the day and got a loooot of uncommon consumables crafted, and one perfect.  He smiled at seeing success of a perfect though, and would take it.  He stored it in his storage before packing up his stuff and moving on with the day.

Spencer groaned silently and walked down the floor's road towards the shops. He needed to get another Familiar Call, soon. He felt bad that he used the one that Kimi gave him one and he used it without actually finding the penguin that he wanted. However he really needed one, and he really needed to get his god dang Penguin to end this whole thing, that way he had something that was around him and would stay with him. He sighed a bit and yawned softly, looking up at the store signs and saw that he was in front of an alchemist's store. He smiled a bit and walked in, looking in. "Hello? Anyone there?" He said and entered. He let the door slowly close behind him, and he opened to look at his Col amount, and it was pretty okay so far. He looked around and walked up to the front desk area. "I was hoping that I could possibly get a familiar call? If that is not too much to ask for." He looked around a bit at the store and all the things that are at the front of the store.

Itzal watched as a player walked into the shop and had asked if he could purchase a familiar sight.  Itzal smiled and nodded. "Sure thing!  I crafted one not too long ago actually so it works out perfectly.  Let's see...  Ah here we go!"  He placed the item on the counter for the player with a smile.  Once the player had bought and left, he used the teleport crystal of his to warp back to his own house, on the back porch and reached for Apollo's Lyre.  He began to tune it out a bit before starting on his crafting.  In the end it was either a lucky day or he was getting more accustomed to Apollo's Lyre.  He managed to make five perfects.  Specifically, One familiar call, one Monster Favor, two Instant Heal and one Mass Heal songs.  The fact that he crafted some perfect masterpiece songs was something he felt proud of.  He stored the familiar sight and monster's favor in the shop, while he kept the healing songs for the boss raid.

Itzal had finally hit the fourth rank of his profession but he was far, faaar from done.  He needed to get to rank five to be a truly useful performer, and the amount of experience points he'd need in order to get to that point was......  Well way more than anything he'd needed before.  One thousand eight hundred and twelve experience was what he needed to reach the final rank.  Once he did that however, he'd have twelve crafts a day, as well as a higher chance of crafting perfects.  It was the higher chance for perfects that Itzal was looking for in the first place.  For now however, it was time to craft.  In the end he successfully crafted an uncommon looting consumable.  Four rare healing masterpieces and a rare looting consumable.  He also worked on some debuffs, one uncommon and one rare masterpiece.  Oh yeah that was going to be another bonus was he'd make masterpieces even more easily.

A familiar Sight. The girl had been away of the update, and in part, didn't care. It didn't cripple her, and honestly, if it did, she was weaker for it. She knew what she wanted, and had gone from performer to performer trying to find two things. The first was a certain item that would grant her a little bonus when making a familiar her own, the other, was a good price. This one was the best she was going to get, given it was already crafted for her.

Upon enterint the store, the 6'0 girl looked around. She wasn't a fan of the colouring, red and purple? They made her roll her shoulders, it just didn't sit well in her chest. Still, she planned to be in and out as soon as possible, she had a hunt to commence after all. "Anyone home!?" She called out loudly, rather arrogently as she made her way to the counter.

When she finally was met, she smirked forwards "I'm looking for that Familiar Sight song, the one on display" The girl opened her inventory, looking at her col and ensuring she had enough "550ish yeah?"

Itzal heard a voice before he teleported back to his home and turned to see Velnia dash downstairs.  He sighed and walked down the stairs behind her.  The purple dragon shot down the stairs and went straight for Embers and stopped in front of her.  She hovered in front of the woman, staring into her eyes for a moment.  She wasn't sure if she liked this one and didn't do her usual greeting.  When Itzal came down and saw Velnia fly around the room instead of crawling all over Embers, it was a red flag...  Still he wasn't going to judge someone on first appearances.  He smiled to the woman.  "Hey there, I was about to head home to start crafting.  What is it you need?"  She mentioned that she needed the familiar call song and nodded.  "Got it, and if you have the col then yeah that's the price.  Let me just get the item for you."  Itzal went behind the counter and pulled the song crystal out, holding it out to her.  "There you go!"

Shield had not spent much time that he could recall in Itzal's shop before, but the paladin had notified him of an interesting item he had managed to craft not terribly long ago. They had negotiated some, and they finally settled on a price they could both be happy with. He stepped inside, nodding his head in greeting as he found his fellow Ascendant.

"Good to see you, Itzal," he said, opening a transfer window to send him a Golden Key. "Hopefully this is helpful to you in your scouting. They serve me quite well, so I have a pretty good idea that it will."

Shield wandered back into Itzal's shop. It had not been terribly long since he had last been in there, but he seemed agitated, which was saying something considering how stoic the man usually was. "Hey," he said hurriedly. "I'm about to head up to the top floors again, but I wanted to discuss an order." He summoned up a menu with the specifics. "The next boss raid meeting has yet to start, so I wanted to try to put this in early. I would like you to get to work crafting Tier 3 healing songs, and if at all possible, as quickly as you can. Whatever normal items you produce you may keep for the purposes of the raid and handing them out to other players. However... any masterpieces, I would like made into Instants, to be reserved for me exclusively."

He pulled up a display, showing a considerable stockpile of Tier 3 materials. "I can keep you supplied as long as you need, but my request is you keep going until you either have to start working on other orders or until you have managed to make another 4 perfect masterpieces. Can we come to an arrangement?"

Itzal needed to get this craft made as soon as he could.  He had been super distracted as of late and thus was very much delayed in his crafting.  He rushed over to his house and grabbed his guitar off of the stand, Velnia looping through the air as they got to do more music.  She loved it cause she would hum along with him when they played.  He hoped that maybe he and Velnia could create some songs together in the future.  And he especially wanted to do so with Jenna.  For now however:  Crafting time.  He began playing and ended up getting a perfect song, which he chose two lullaby enhancements and a hypnosis enhancement.  The second was a rare which he chose two lullaby.  He was kind of disappointed that he didn't get any masterpieces, especialy with the fact that they were facing five bosses rather than one, but still.  It was something.

Pick was planning on getting out there and finding himself a familiar to boost his damage or something. He wanted something smart, like a rat or like an owl. He needed something that is able to move quickly so it can stay with him when he goes fast. However, that would come later - for now, he needed to make sure that he can even get this familiar first, and that means he must be able to increase his luck to the maximum potential. He had heard that a performer makes some sort of a son that makes it easier for a player to find a familiar, so he had come to this floor to buy this item. Luckily for him, there just happens to be one on the shelf, so he picked it up and paid before leaving, "Thanks a lot for that!"

Cosi walked into the Dragon's Soul a little uncertain that he was in the right place. He went up to the counter and filled out an order slip. Shield said a +2 LD from familiar Sight would be enough so that's what I'll get. Cosi handed the slip of paper to the owner. "Here you go. I'm planning on heading out to go get my familiar fairly soon so when you finish this please notify me straightaway. I don't care too much about the song name or tune just as long as it will help me get a familiar. Thanks." Cosi said cheerfully and then left.

Itzal was sitting on his porch strumming his guitar when he heard a beeping sound.  Someone was approaching his shop?  He stood up quickly and rushed to the teleporter, warping to the inside of his shop behind the desk.  He hung his guitar up, Velnia flying all over the room as she usually did.  The crazy familiar never got bored of exploring the already explored structure.  Itzal wondered if she was hoping to find anything, or something.  He saw the blonde haired player walk in and smiled.  "Hey there!  How can I help you?"  he asked as he reached out and grabbed Velnia's tail before she could dive onto his face.  The purple dragon was too hyper for her own good.  The player walked over and handed him a slip. He looked at the order and nodded, but the player started walking away before he could answer.  "H-Hey wait a minute!  I can have it for you in a second.  I recently tuned my guitar and made a few crafts today.  It's still got juice for one more today, so let's see if it will craft today."  He began playing an instrumental song and when it was finished, the green crystal glowed to life.  He smiled and held it out.  "And there you have it!  One familiar call as requested!"

Cosi quickly turned back around when he heard the performer and shop owner calling to him. Apparently it hadn't taken to long- or really any time at all- to craft his order. Cosi nodded his head in appreciation and respect. "Thank you so much. Sorry didn't mean to be so hasty. Most crafts, especially when its armor and weapons, take a good amount of time." Cosi picked up the green crystal and handed over the proper amount of materials to Itzal. "Thank you again" Cosi headed out of the shop.

Black decided to explore the shop of the performer as if he was in a store selling the latest albums of music. He enjoyed the ambiance of the shop as he bobbed his head in satisfaction. In fact, he was envious of the radiant atmosphere. "This place has some real good vibes, bruh. I can feel it..real positive aura in here." He analyzed the name of the songs as he picked up each and observed the notations of effects. "Oh, shi-...wait a minute...you got a song for hunting down those little familiars I be seein' people run around with? I heard trying to get the good ones are hell without it. I got this Lucky Lollipop I made that boosts the chances of finding all the good stuff and with this here." He says, smacking the recording crystal on the side. "I think I might have a good shot. Got to remember that Multipurpose Estate Buff, too." He rubs his chin as he examines the price. "Screw it, I'm willing to throw some racks at you for this one right here, fam. Also, I'll be popping through more often to get other things made. I like ugh...instumentals and [censored]. The real chill laid back vibes. I love hip hop, too...and a little bit of everything. I know a few bands." He discloses casually, taking interest in another music lover. "I still want to get the recording studio set up in the estate. Been torn between life as a chef and wanting to make some tracks of my own. Must feel nice."

Itzal was lucky he had went to his shop to pick up a few things, because it was then a player walked into the store.  The player talked to him, mentioning something about vibes?  He chuckled with a slight grin.  "Thanks, I think."  He walked over to the counter when the player mentioned the familiar call songs and Itzal nodded.  "Yeah, it adds an additional two LD to your chances of finding a familiar.  Combine that with the LD trinket and the LD food and your chances of finding one are really good.  If you have the searching skill it makes it far easier.  But, usually people go after dps skills above all else since survival first."  When he smacked the recording crystal, it jiggled due to not being sealed onto the ground and fell onto the ground.  The song crystals, however, were stronger than glass or regular crystals, so instead of breaking it just played the instrumental song.  Itzal picked it up and handed it to the player, accepting the col, not saying a word about what happened.  "Hip hop huh?  I haven't done many of those but if you want some vanity songs I could help you out there.  No curse words though, I don't do that.  One moment, I hope you find your familiar!"  After the player left, Itzal walked into the back room and used his teleport pad to travel to his house.  On his workshop he began playing the songs.  Most of them were decent as he played his guitar, but a few of them were a failure or almost so.  Hip hop was hard for him to do with just his guitar.  Took him a while but eventually he had managed to get the sound just right.  He sighed as Velnia flew over and he shook his headWith practice out of the way, he could head out.

Itzal walked into his shop and looked around.  He sighed as he placed the sign on the door.  The sign that informed players the store was closed until further notice.  That notice would be a long time away.  He gathered everything in the shop and used the teleport pad to transport to his house.  He then accessed the terminal for the teleport pad and terminated it's connection to the shop pad.  With that he went to his porch, his workshop, to make some debuffs.  Kasier was still busy, so he needed to solo this quest.  He saw Velnia fly over, not as hyper as she usually was.  Partly because he'd been training her in earnest to act differently when they were out and about, and partly because she knew how he was feeling..  He began to play the songs and had managed to craft a few.  None of them were perfect crafts, but they didn't really need to be either.  Well, he did need perfects, but he needed these rare ones too.  Debuffs reducing accuracy and evasion?  That worked excellently for the quest he was after.  Then there was the debuffs that amplified damage over time effects.  He would definitely need those for certain.  Itzal would just have to make them later though...
