Whatever awaited them up above was really anyone's guess, but the limited info they did have served well in plotting out the next course of action. Although he didn't exactly enjoy crafting he was willing to put that aside to aid in the battle if need be. Being able to pull his own weight was something that he strived to achieve since eventually a time would come when no one would be able to fight for him and he would need to rely on his own blade to survive above all else.
