Domarus 0 Posted September 22, 2016 #1 Share Posted September 22, 2016 The Painter's Stones You learn about the Painter's Stone's from rumors of the store in towns and amongst players. As you approach the shop you see an emblem on the sign. Once inside you see a counter as well as display cases on desks, tables and shelves. There are comfortable chairs for guests to rest in as well as much decorations and red and gold rugs decorated with flames and dragons. On the wall is a list of the pricing and beside this is a slot filled with order forms. There is a hallway towards the left that enters two rooms. The room to the left is Domarus' bedroom/study where it is always locked even with him here. The room to the right leads into Domarus' crafting room which is filled with materials, tools, and paints for tattoo work. If the player enters the crafting room (for tattoos only) the player will see a painting. The painting, about as long as Domarus' forearm, and half for height, contains a scene showing four silhouettes. One with heavy armor. One with a dagger in one hand and a sword in the other. One with a staff and the fourth with a sword. Ahead of them was Domarus in his armor as a silhouette. If Domarus is in the shop, there will be a dragon familiar with black iron skeleton like armor and is constantly ablaze sitting on an iron poll protruding from the wall. Most of the time players will notice a player in an odd black and purple maid's outfit, with a red snake that constantly burns and curls around her, who keeps the shop in tip-top shape. Players who have met her with Domarus know her as Keres and that she enjoys doing this sort of work. Upon entering the shop she greets players with a slight bow saying 'welcome master/mistress. How may we serve you today?' Domarus 0 Posted September 22, 2016 Author #2 Share Posted September 22, 2016 (edited) Domarus didn't lollygag. He went straight to work. While Keres finished placing the decorations and such, Domarus went and grabbed the starter tools he had been provided with. He went into the work station and pulled out the materials he and Esther had managed to collect together. It was an interesting event yes, but that was over. It was time for work. He needed the col and he needed it badly. Domarus wanted to make himself a ring. He wanted it to be perfect so he took his time. However while he was skilled with tattoos from the real world, crafting rings was another art indeed. He cursed as the metal ring shattered and it's pieces flew everywhere, one of them flying by his face and landing a scratch on him. He growled as there was no way he would be able to seek out the individual pieces. The material was lost. He quickly realized that he would not be able to craft a ring any time soon, that he would need to build his skills up to that. So instead he began to paint a glorious blaze of fire on a canvas. When he finished he observed the uncommon item. "Ooooh, you did wonderful master," she said with a grin. Domarus pushed her head back, a little annoyed and she snickered before returning to setting everything up. Mossino 0 Posted September 23, 2016 #3 Share Posted September 23, 2016 (edited) Alisa had heard various rumors about a more hidden shop on this first floor. While it was a simple Artisan's shop, it was also doing tattoos, something Alisa had always wanted. So with a teleport down to floor one, she started searching for the shop. The person who had told her about it seemed so familiar, like she knew them, but eh, it didn't matter. A few minutes would pass before Alisa made it to what seemed like the store. The Painter's Stones. That sounded right. With a tug on the door handle she walked in...surprised to see...Domarus behind the counter...That made sense! The person spreading the rumors about this place was...what was her name..Keres, that was it. With a light smile she waved towards Domarus, "Heya, how're you Domarus?" she asked in a chipper voice, "Are you doing those Tattoos here? If so, I want one." When he confirmed to her he was doing tattoos, she go into explaining about what she wanted, waiting for him to do...ya'know whatever. Domarus 0 Posted September 23, 2016 Author #4 Share Posted September 23, 2016 (edited) Domarus sat behind the counter looking through his journal. In the first section were three lists he kept whether in this game or the real world. The three lists were organized as 'potential followers' 'allies and friends' 'enemies'. The first list currently held two players, namely being Alisa and Arc. They held the potential to be two generals and both seemed to be decent dps players. However he would also need a tank, scout and healer as generals as well so he hoped one of these two could multitask. The second list held five, possibly six people who could be allies. The friends was limited to two players as of now and he didn't expect it to grow any more in this world. The final list had made a recent addition. Before he had no enemies. But now, Lycan would know what hell was like, and the price he'd pay for assaulting Esther the way he did. Suddenly the shop door opened up and he snapped the journal shut quickly, his focused face looking up. His face lightened up in order to keep the pretense of the nice guy and smiled at Alisa. "Alisa! I'm doing well enough. Why are you here?" He listened as Alisa asked for a tattoo and was a little shocked at her request. He nodded that he was and listened to the details of the tattoo and handed over the listed pricing for a full body tattoo. He was glad that he managed to finally gather more col but he was still surprised that she wanted this tattoo. He shrugged and stood up, gesturing down the hall. As they made their way Domarus called out to Keres. "Keres! Handle the front for me will you?" Domarus walked into the work room behind Alisa and gestured to the stool before locking the door. He walked over to his tools and asked for her to pull up her shirt so he could get started. His eyes focused only on the back and arms, and he began getting to work. It took a long time but as he did he asked Alisa questions and held a decent conversation so she wouldn't get bored. By the time he finished he stood up and told Alisa he was finished. He led her over to an area with curtains and mirrors so she could view the tattoo in private. He awaited to hear her reply. After she left he attempted to make another item but failed and decided the tattoo was enough for today. +1000 col -2 MAT +2 Exp @Mossino Spoiler ID# 68358 CD: 9 -Alisa's Tattoo made ID# 68360 CD: 5 LD: 14 Edited September 23, 2016 by Domarus
Domarus 0 Posted September 25, 2016 Author #5 Share Posted September 25, 2016 (edited) Domarus walked back into his shop after escorting Esther out. It was... And interesting day to say the least. Especially with the starry eyed illusion potion. It made Domarus realize something. And although he was grateful for the events today, it was vital that nobody else found out. He had discovered his weakness and he needed to guard it with care. Keres stood there waiting for him with a platter that had coffee and a plate of eggs and bacon. She smirked at him. "Welcome back master. Did you enjoy your walk?" Domarus grunted as he took walked into his study, eager to get the day's crafting over with. Keres followed him inside and placed the platter on the table next to him and gave him a hug from behind, pressing herself against him. "Will that be all master?" "Yes, thank you Keres. That will be all." Keres frowned. Esther had put Domarus in a more subtle mood and she would need to provoke him later on into beating her. She looked forward to that but for now she let him focus on his work. The finished products were successful, coming out as two rare items giving Domarus either plus 2 search or an item that increased his two handed ax rank by one. Satisfied with his craft he put his items away. Spoiler ID# 68497 CD: 11 ID# 68498 CD: 11 Crafted September 24th -2 MAT +10 Exp Edited September 28, 2016 by Domarus
Domarus 0 Posted September 26, 2016 Author #6 Share Posted September 26, 2016 (edited) Domarus re entered his shop after a long day of training. He had been fighting monsters like crazy for a while and he needed a break every now and then. As he walked in Keres looked up with mischievous glee as always. "Welcome back master! How was the trip? You find another sweetheart?" Domarus smacked her on the back of the head hard as he passed her for that comment. Which is exactly what she wanted, bringing a pleased smile on her lips. Domarus walked into his workroom and found all his tools ready for him as well as his platter of food. He took a bite of his sandwich before getting to work. His intention was to start working on a painting. He wasn't sure exactly what he wanted, and unfortunately that would effect his work. He attempted to paint another fire scene but the paint messed up and he growled at the error. He trashed the canvas and pulled out another one, attempting to make a moonlight scene. Juzt 0 Posted September 26, 2016 #7 Share Posted September 26, 2016 (edited) Juzt made his way inside the relatively new artisan shop, taking note of the rather dull name. It wasn't anything in the way of distasteful or incompetent, yet it lacked a sense of the standard that plagued these floors of shops named after witty puns and tragic themes. Inside, it certainly felt quite an uplifting contrast as the decor and color scheme complimented each other greatly. Looking at the dragons and the fires that emerged, he thought to himself, "Could focus a bit more on the cause, rather than the effect." Taking an order form from its slot, he'd began filling it out as he called for the attention of the owner, wherever he might be as the NPC maid didn't seem to fit the bill, "Yo, is the Painter here?" He referred to him or her as such a title due to the shop's name, "I'm here to place an order." His order was rather simple, yet would cost himself quite the pretty penny. However, it would be a fair gift to the first person that actually befriended him here in Aincrad. - 900 Col Spoiler Name: Jasmine FlowerProfession: ArtisanRank: 1ID: (leave blank)Roll: (leave blank)Item Type: Miniature TrinketTier: 1Quality: Perfect Enhancements: +3 Loot Die Description: This small pin, designed in the shape and color of a white jasmine flower, offers the luck of a four leaf clover with all the more beauty. Domarus 0 Posted September 27, 2016 Author #8 Share Posted September 27, 2016 (edited) Keres looked up as a player walked into the shop. She smiled and bowed slightly to the player. "Welcome master! How may I help you?" She always talked to others in this sense, both because she enjoyed being a servant, and because she liked to disturb others or make them embarrassed or uncomfortable. When the player handed her the form and asked if Domarus was there. She nodded to the player. "Of course sir! Let me get him real quick." Keres picked up the order slip and walked down the hall, turning right, heading into Domarus' work space. She saw him there writing down notes for ideas of his and she placed the order down beside him, drawing his attention and stopping his hand from moving. "You have your first real order master." Domarus took the order and looked at it for a moment before nodding. "Tell the player it might take a little so he or she might want to get comfortable or occupy their time until it's finished." Keres bowed to Domarus before returning to the player to tell him the reply. Domarus pulled out his materials and decided to start with a bit of practice. He attempted to create a miniature masterpiece for Keres by carving some red metal into a flame like design. When he finished it turned out ok, being a good item and not anywhere near a buff. Still it was progress. He moved on to the order but the material was more fragile than he expected and it shattered under his touch. Domarus cursed, glad that the closed door sealed off all noise. He needed better tools. Spoiler ID# 68704 CD: 1 ID# 68705 CD: 8 -2 MAT +3 Exp Edited September 27, 2016 by Domarus
Domarus 0 Posted September 27, 2016 Author #9 Share Posted September 27, 2016 (edited) Domarus returned to his shop, hoping to actually craft the player's request this time. When he entered his workspace he saw a platter of food and drink waiting for him. This meant that Keres was attempting to practice her searching skills to better help him when he went looking for materials. He would definitely need them after all. He was almost out. He pulled out one of the few materials left and began to get to work. It was a pin he was crafting, and the shape of a flower. He pulled out his tools and began to scrape the material apart, hoping to leave a much smaller piece to work with. However he didn't spot a fragile area and a large crack appeared in the material. Domarus cursed but in the end he was able to salvage the material by hovering it over the fire, allowing the metal to fuse back together. Hopefully the fragile spots would vanish as well. Sighing he got started on another. However this time he decided to make a ring for himself. He had intended to do that anyways. He took out the material and began to craft it. When it came out as a good item, he nodded. The material was like ash, with a large black gem in the center. On the other end of the ring was his insignia. Satisfied he slipped the ring onto his finger. One down, four to go he thought. Domarus 0 Posted September 29, 2016 Author #10 Share Posted September 29, 2016 (edited) Crafting: September 29 Domarus walked into his shop once again. He only had two metals he could attempt to make items out of, and only one of them was the right color for the player's order. Domarus sat down at the desk and pulled out his tools and materials, preparing to get to work. He began to attempt shaping the metal carefully, but once again he hit a weak point and the material cracked. Unfortunately there wasn't a nearby fire he could use to fuse it this time and the material was lost. He cursed before sitting back. Well that's that he thought. He'd need to find more materials before he could craft for the player again. In the meantime he thought, he had a few paints left as well as one ore which he could make materials out of. He wondered about it and decided to make himself a tattoo. He pulled out his left arm and grabbed his tools. The tattoo would be hidden unless he removed his gauntlet or went to another swimming event. He finished the tattoo and was satisfied with the work. It was a red flaming skull, but unless looked closely at the details it looked like a fireball to anyone else. Black wings emerged from the sides and a black crown sat on the top. After this he made the same thing on a painting. When he finished the painting he hung it on the wall before leaving to reluctantly search for materials. Domarus 0 Posted November 17, 2016 Author #11 Share Posted November 17, 2016 (edited) As Domarus made his way back into the shop he unequipped his armor and returned it to it's inventory, leaving nothing but his black t-shirt and dark red jeans. He needed something other than armor and this was the cheapest he could get his hands on. He entered his shop with his new materials and did not hesitate to get to work while Rhozarth, his flaming familiar, explored it's new home. Domarus pulled out the materials and grabbed his tools. Aereth was a worthy player for the general title. He simply needed to work with him until the player was ready to join. This would probably happen after Aereth had finished whatever he had planned for the Laughing Coffin. Domarus had made a suggestion to the player and he seemed to like it. As he worked he only managed to make two good items. They were void black, each with a slot for a gem to fit into it. It was time to start preparing. Domarus 0 Posted November 18, 2016 Author #12 Share Posted November 18, 2016 (edited) Now it was time to finish the player's order. Domarus returned to his shop with what few materials he had left and pulled out his tools. Rhozarth glided over and landed on the metal table beside where Domarus did his crafting. He pulled out the first material, made of a pearl-ish substance and was hard enough for the pin. Domarus began getting to work but as he did so the tool scraped too hard and formed a crack that ran right through the material, shattering it. Domarus growled in frustration. He needed to order a better set of tools. Moving on to the second material, he chose to take this much slower. And as he slowly worked on it he could see it working. Soon the item was complete and he leaned back to observe his work. He had successfully crafted the perfect item and went ahead to send a message to the player @Juzt. With that out of the way he went to work on his tattoo. He had decided he wanted something else for the future. He used a particular material in order to remove the marking and a second to install a flaming dragon tattoo. It's appearance was like an emblem however, rather than an image. With the work done, he made his way back to put his one last material away before going to search for more. Domarus 0 Posted January 16, 2017 Author #13 Share Posted January 16, 2017 (edited) Domarus entered his shop and went straight to work. He moved into his crafting room and pulled out his new tools and began to get to work. He decided to start with making a ring and pulled out a gold ingot to work with. He began to move slowly, and started to use his tools on it. He was impressed with the tool's quality and the finished product was nearly perfect. But that's all he needed. He set the ring aside and pulled out four metals. He heated the silver and pressed and shaped it into a disk shape, then took the gold, bright bronze and ruby and worked on them until his project was finished, seeing the 3d metal flame. With that he moved on to his next project. He began to work on a silver ring this time, however it wasn't going as well. He chipped a little piece and cursed, but realized that if not for the tools the item would have been ruined. So he turned the mark he had just made into a symbol and grinned at his success. Finally he worked on a neckless, carving the gold into an emblem. When he finished he went to go store the items. Dominion 0 Posted January 16, 2017 #14 Share Posted January 16, 2017 Dominion entered into what he thought was Domarus's Shop. He had looked all over the fourth, third, and second floor for the shop with no luck. He took notice to an Emblem outside a floor 1 shop and decided to enter. Inside were comfortable chairs and on the wall held pricing for items and order forms. When Dominion saw Keres, he knew he was in the right place. Dominion stepped inside the door and immediately was greeted by Keres "Hello Keres. I was wanting to get an order form for buying an item." Dominion rested his hands in his pockets, his white tee-shirt somewhat stained with dirt from recent endeavors. As she retrieved for him a form, he began scribling words down at a very quick pace, but then erased it. Woops, wrong language. Dominion rewrote everything, and then fixed a couple mistakes and handed the completed form back to Keres. "I need to talk to Domarus about a plan for payment. I have enough Col, but I lack the materials at the moment." Dominion shrugged his shoulders as placed his arm back in his jean pocket. Domarus 0 Posted January 17, 2017 Author #15 Share Posted January 17, 2017 (edited) Keres watched as Dominion walked in and she made her greeting to him. When he handed the request to Keres she didn't bother looking at it. She simply bowed again. "Very well Dominion. Let me get him for you." She walked into the crafting room where Domarus was working and almost walked in when the door opened up. Domarus was startled to see Keres in the doorway. She smiled and bowed. "Dominion wanted an item master. Here's his request." Domarus took the order and one of his eyebrows raised as it was an item he had just recently made. He walked to the counter and pulled out the item, placing it on the counter. "Consider yourself lucky my friend. I'm rather low on materials, however Keres here tells me you are too. How about we make the payment half and half? Four materials and five hundred col. Sounds rather fair correct?" Dominion was Domarus' third customer total. His first customer wanted a tattoo which gave him quite a bit of col. It worked out well too. His second customer had yet to come pick up his item. @Dominion was lucky to have his item already crafted. When Dominion paid for the item Domarus handed it over and nodded to him with a smile. Domarus 0 Posted January 18, 2017 Author #16 Share Posted January 18, 2017 (edited) With another quest completed, Domarus returned to his shop. Meditation. He had to fight a so called 'demon' to get the skill. Four fights but in the end he assumed control and dominated it. As expected. Now he had two out of three of the extra skills out there: Survival, and Meditation. All that was left was getting the final two skills, concentration and martial arts. Getting martial arts wasn't as important to Domarus. It was simply to get the experience. However, he heard that martial arts required punching a rock with much health until it was destroyed, and that it had to do with fists. Thus Domarus would need accuracy. So when he got to work he started doing just that: He pulled out the ruby ore and began getting to work. He wanted to experiment a little and pulled out a glowstone, carefully cutting it until it was an extremely thin ring. Then he placed it in a mold and filled the mold with the ruby. He let it cool and the ring was done: A glowing ruby ring. He grinned. Perfect. He then decided to make a second set: Two gold rings that magnetically connected together. After forging them he placed one on his finger, then the ruby ring, and the second gold ring after that. The effect was as he desired. He then took the item which Domarus handed over and smiled back. "Thanks Domarus. Whenever you need me, just send a PM. I am sure to get stronger and become more of an assistance soon. This Item will surely help alot." Dominion equipped his item and realized that he was filling his inventory rather quickly. "Looks as though I will need to get rid of my old armor. Anyway, I guess I will see you later." Dominion raised his head to look up at Domarus. Dominion turned his body toward the door and waved back at Domarus and Keres as he exited the shop. Domarus 0 Posted February 1, 2017 Author #19 Share Posted February 1, 2017 (edited) Domarus returned to his shop a little on edge. He was so close... So close to his goals. He had three out of four generals, and while one did need a little work on, the majority were ripe for the taking. However he still had yet to find a tank for his general. Without that he wasn't going anywhere. So he decided that once Hidden was ready to become his general, then he'd have them all meet with him and inform them of their new title. He had no doubt in his mind that they would, in the end, join him. Dominion already swore he would without Domarus even asking. And Aereth was becoming rather close with Domarus, which was even better. As for Hidden, he wasn't sure but he had a good feeling. It was that last general that was frustrating. As he tried to craft these thoughts swirled around in his mind, messing up his work. He growled and muttered a curse before tossing the failed projects behind them, shattering to crystals before they hit anything. That was when Keres gave him Dominion's order. He'd need to craft it tomorrow, all he could make today was a measly uncommon. He knew he'd be crafting @Dominion's item one way or another today so he went ahead and messaged him saying to come by today to pick it up. He made his way into his work area and pulled out his tools and materials, getting to work. The actual ring was a bit tricky to make so he took his time and carved the material slowly, being careful during the process of inserting the small details, making sure each curve and indent was perfect. Soon enough the item was crafted: A ring with searching enhancements for Dominion. He set it aside and got back to work. The next item he decided to turn into an evasion item. Perhaps he should set up a system where he would 'rent' gear for a smaller fee. He attempted to make another item but this turned out to be nothing but a good quality ring. The fourth failed altogether. With that he put his tools away and prepared for Dominion's arrival.
