[SP - F1] Bored. <<Secret Medicine of the Forest>> (Completed.)

Beatbox looked around on floor one, bored... and honestly looking for something to do. He was rather bored and wanted to complete a quest, he had seen that there was a quest that introduced players into bosses that he had missed. He figured to finish it before he would eventually forget about it and spend less time on the quest. He accepted the quest and skipped the dialogue of the quest, he just wanted to get it finished and move on to the next. He whistled to his familiar and his familiar came quickly and jumped onto his head and fell asleep there. He walked to the area in question and saw the two first Nerpents in the area guarding the Variant, Beatbox knew he had to get a special medicine for a village and the only way to get it is from a drop from defeating the Variant and if he didn't get it he would have to try again and fight them all over again, typically this would be a challenge for beginning players... but for Beatbox this shouldn't take any time at all.

Beatbox focused and concentrated at one of the Nepents, he ran up to that Nepent and swung at it with his sword. And without any need nor skill it fell after one hit. He shook his head and moved out of the way of the other Nepent's attack against Beatbox. This was going to be easy, he knew when he accepted this quest that it wouldn't take long and this would not be difficult at all, as long as he doesn't get stupid and waste all of his energy while fighting these things while trying to get the medicine that the Variant drops. This wouldn't take any time at all and honestly he'll feel like he is wasting his time, but hey EXP is EXP whether if he likes to do it or not. For beginners the looks of this monster would be intimidating however Beatbox did not find these at the least challenging, heck it fell after ONE swing of a sword... very, very puny.

The Nepent wade a weird noise with a crazy smile and tried to attack Beatbox with its weird tentacles, however Beatbox could see it attacking from a mile away and he simply moved out of the way. He didn't prepare a sword art or anything, he just simply did a basic attack against it and it dropped after that one sword swing. He finished off the two Nepents the Variant revealed itself and crawled all the way to Beatbox ready to fight against the player. Beatbox shook his head and giggled a bit "You think you're sooo tough, im only here to get the EXP. Just drop dead already." he said as he prepared a sword art against it, however he wouldn't waste his energy on a sword art that would completely obliterate it. He shook his head again and had an evil smirk on his face ready to take down this monster.

The Variant tried to attack with one of its roots and missed, pretty badly. And Beatbox had used his sword art Vertical Arc and swung at the creature in the form of a "V" and struck it down with little effort what so ever. However he did not retrieve the medicine needed to complete the quest so he had to continue fighting more mob's in hopes to try to get the medicine. He waited for the Variants to respawn and without too much time they eventually respawned and looked at Beatbox like he was their next vicitm. He laughed and he prepared his sword to fight the Nerpents another time, this wouldn't take much time at all and this was an easy challenge that will give him easy EXP. He started to wonder in his mind... "Why did I not do this quest earlier?" with a shrug he pointed his sword at one of the Nerpent's with a smirk.

The nepents tried to attack against the player that had one shotted the previous Nepent's in hopes to try to deal some damage to the player, however Beatbox moved out of the way of there assault and swung his sword at one of the Nepents... and it dropped to 0 HP and exploded into white triangles that floated away to nothing. He smiled and thought to himself on how easy this quest honestly is for a more experienced player that had forgotten a quest like this, this is more of a time killer rather than a real challenge to him. His familiar watched on top of his head, it growled and barked at most of the Nepents but never tried to attack some of the Nepents. Beatbox would not want his familiar to fall like the other one, he wants to keep a familiar for the rest of his time here in hopes that he can prevent his fear from taking over him.

Beatbox had watched where the Nepent's were and what they were doing, it was rather odd on how they moved and acted... it was kind of gross in a sense.. he swung his sword, and maybe he swung his sword a little too perfectly as the Nepent immediately exploded into white crystals before bleeding out. It was actually very gross. He shook his head and looked forward, The Nepent Variant was back... and ooo boy was he hoping to get this quest done as soon as possible, he actually was growing tired of seeing these weird... plant... things. The Nepent Variant was muttering something, but he couldn't understand what it was saying at all, he shook his head and sighed to himself, this... thing was actually fairly creepy... almost like its nightmare material... he shook for a moment, before preparing his sword for his next attack, hopefully he could end this sooner than anticipated.

Beatbox looked at the Variant and swung his sword, he was sure that it was going to hit and kill him in one shot, or at least do a sword art to where it would be dead, however Beatbox missed... he missed terribly, he giggled and thought to actually be near the Variant when you swing your sword. However, something was... odd about this, not only did the Variant attack Beatbox, but it swung fast and it hit him... and he felt like his damage mitigation didn't kick in with this attack, he looked at the Variant in surprise and thought to himself "Huh, bosses that pass through damage mitigation...? Well, this has certainly surprised me. This was new to me." he thought to himself before smirking, the odds were in Beatbox's favor, not only did he not suffer that much damage, but it would roughly even need around 40 hits to actually kill him... more than likely Beatbox was going to be able to strike down the Variant before too long.

Beatbox figured that he is doing enough damage just by doing one swing at a time, conserving energy and since it would take forever for the Variant to deal an incredible amount of damage to Beatbox. Beatbox simply swung his sword and hit the Variant extremely well dealing a third of its health, just off of one hit. Beatbox was making this battle and quest look like its a joke. However the Variant grew tired of seeing this player and not using any effort at all to fight the creature and struck Beatbox with the same speed and damage as it did before. Beatbox was rather surprised that this creature let alone did that much damage... but it was actually hitting Beatbox, he couldn't believe it... this game is full of surprises and never ceases to surprise Beatbox in the slightest way. This game truly can't be that bad, if you look past the fact that its a death game, it could be kind of fun at times...

Beatbox was not worried in the slightest bit of this quest or even dying... these Nepent's were proving to be nothing too special, all Beatbox had to do to eventually get his item is honestly stand here and swing his sword so he's at a constant state of the same energy and deal the minimum damage when minimum damage essentially kills them. There was nothing to worry about, he only took this quest because he figured... er, why not? The Nepent Variant kept trying to attack against Beatbox using its... weird... tentacle thingys... it was creepy how they moved... but regardless THIS time Beatbox moved out of the way preventing himself from taking anymore damage, which was weird again on how he actually took two hits from this thing and swung his sword again to deal the minimum damage removing another third from its health. One more simple swing of the sword and this "thing" will drop.

Beatbox had waited for the Variant to swing one last time to see if it could deal more damage at all to Beatbox... but alas, it is about as strong as it's "minions" and even then its minions were pathetic. Beatbox swung his sword to put the Variant out of its misery... and with bizarre luck, Beatbox had received the Medicine! He thought it would need more combat... but, eh, I guess he could do some actual combat today it looked like. Beatbox had put the medicine into his inventory and walked all the way to the village to finish the quest. He went to the NPC that he needed to speak to, to finish the quest. And after talking to the NPC the quest was completed... Beatboxs rewards were as good as he expected it to be, low experience and a weapon that he wouldn't dare replace his current weapon. He found that kind of funny though "well... I guess its a good display piece..." he said as he walked out to the plains to fight some actual mob's this time around.

Beatbox after completing that quest that took little effort to be honest, decided to go off to fight the Boars that roam this floor, he missed fighting against these little piglets... maybe he could get a good amount of col while he is still here. He walked himself to the plains that were outside the village and without effort at all he found a boar that was by its loan some. He swung at the direction of the Boar to get its attention and to get it into combat mode, he smiled and waited for the Boar to try to ram Beatbox... the Boar ran towards Beatbox and he jumped over the Boar and the Boar turned around with a snort. Beatbox prepared his sword for another swing, his sword glowed a bright white and he was ready to overkill this poor little piglet, this is going to be a lack of a fight.

Beatbox had watched the Boar closely, Beatbox wanted to be the last to attack and watch its every move so he could time his dodge's perfectly... he waited... and the Boar snorted at the blonde haired player. Without much time the Boar gave in and started to charge at the blonde haired player with its tusks and red eyes. Beatbox waited for the best moment and... he quickly moved out of the way and unleashed the sword art he had been preparing... he hit the boar and continued to swing at him with hit after hit and entered a combo that at the end had a star pattern. "Star Quint Prominence" it was the coolest sword art Beatbox had seen so far... and he loved that sword art to death. Beatbox after completing that combo and seeing the star disappear he leaped back away from the boar and smiled, he laughed and prepared the same sword art again because he loves it.

Beatbox smiled as he prepared the same sword art again, he really had liked this sword art... just seeing a star... kind of entertains him somehow. Beatbox had continued to look at the Boar waiting for the Boar to make its move at Beatbox, this mob's are very predictable if you just watch their movements and patterns over time. All Beatbox had to do was wait for the Boar to be first to strike... move out of the way and perform your sword art as it is still next to you as you dodge. It was simple and Beatbox smirked at that thought. Then the Boar snorted and started to charge at Beatbox with its red eyes, and like always... Beatbox moved out of the way and performed the series of combo's and hits on the boar and leaped out of the way back to another spot so that he could repeat the process all over again. It was just doing the same thing all over again.

Beatbox had kept doing what he had been doing best, the strategy he had to fight against these mob's were just perfect in his mind, it has been working for the past who knows how many battles he had against these Boars. And so the process of doing the same thing over and over again had kept going on, he waited for the boar to charge at Beatbox... he moved out of the way... and he did the super cool star sword art that he really liked. He admired the star pattern before it disappeared and he took a leap back from the Boar and let the Boar turn to face Beatbox, the Boar was badly damaged and had kept snorting at Beatbox, the Boar surely did not like this blonde haired player at all. But Beatbox found this amusing how this mob can't really do anything to him. The fact that his stats are high makes him happy.

Beatbox had gotten himself distracted for a bit, he was mostly thinking about how he was going to eventually join the front lines, it would take a lot of effort and hard work to do it... but, he was sure that he could eventually be able to join it. He shook off his thoughts before he gets too too distracted and quickly moved out of way because he had forgotten that he was in combat with a boar. He sighed in relief that he had broke back to reality before the Boar had fought against him. He shoo his head and tried to swing his sword against the boar that had been trying to attack the blonde haired player, but in a unsurprising outcome... Beatbox had missed, well... thats what he gets for thinking in the middle of combat like that! He sighed and prepared his sword to strike again... maybe he's gonna have bacon tonight.

Beatbox had kept watching the Boar closely... waiting for the boar to strike next... he waited, and waited. Eventually the boar fell for it with a snort, and he squealed as he charged toward the blonde haired player. The boar had been making the same mistakes and not realizing it... he was falling to Beatbox's plans this entire time. Beatbox smirked and laughed as it tried to hit him with its tusk's, without much effort he moved out of the way and used his Star combo again... but this time it was just in the right spot and he did an impressive amount of damage to it. Beatbox smiled at how much damage he had done to the poor piglet, but he couldn't help it... he wants that sweet sweet col... rumor has it that rumors for unique will be back up... and Beatbox needs very cent to try to get one...

Beatbox had continued to watch the boar very carefully, he waited... and waited... and waited for the Boar to strike first, he would not be the person who strikes first, giving him any opportunity to get an advantage. The boar finally broke down and started to charge against Beatbox, Beatbox however was quick on his feet and moved out of the way with ease from its striking range. However Beatbox like the dummy that he is forgot that he was trying to strike down the Boar and he did a last minute swing against the Boar and unfortunately missed against the Boar. He grinned and blamed himself for missing that hit, if he wasn't so distracted on literally anything he thinks about this wouldn't be a problem, he shook off his thoughts and was determined to take down the boar tight here, right now. He prepared a sword art and his sword glowed a bright white.

Beatbox had prepared his sword art and he ran toward the Boar, however the Boar waited for Beatbox and moved out of the way, "Copying what I do huh? I guess the AI does learn over time..." he said to himself with an angered look. He lunged himself backwards and the boar saw this as a time to strike and started running toward the blonde haired player. Beatbox smirked and with second to spare he landed and quickly moved out of the way of the boar's charge. He turned to the boar once more and was quickly getting more and more annoyed with this mob, it's HP is low enough for one normal hit to take it down. Beatbox looked at his energy and it was running a little thin, he brushed that thought aside and kept looking forward to the boar with a determined look, sure this was taking forever but one hit will end it.

Beatbox had waited for the boar to come close to Beatbox, the watched very closely and he waited for it to charge at the player. The boar's eyes glowed a bright red and it squealed and started to charge against the blonde haired player. "Wait for it... wait for it... wait for it..." he thought to himself as he looked very closely at the boar that was charging at him. "Now!" he yelled out to himself as he moved out of the way and quickly stabbed the boar with a basic attack. The boar gave out one final squeal and exploded into white crystals that fluttered in the air into nothing. Beatbox took a deep breath and smiled at the menu that appeared in front of him. He had received a decent amount of col from that one mob, he took the col and dismissed the menu and took another deep breath, it finally was over.

Beatbox grew more and more tired by the second, he took a moment to take a deep breath, he had been wasting so much energy in combat... and he thought on how he could improve on that... the only solution he came up with... get to level 25. Once he get's to level 25 he gains access to tier 2 equipment... and better yet, his familiar will provide him with his damage, he could get a sword that did more than just damage now... it was quite a luxury to Beatbox. He smirked and stood up and yawned, it looks like it was coming to around that time for Beatbox. He sheathed his sword and starting walking back all the way to town so that he could teleport to his store on floor 4 he had been using as a home until he could get enough money to get a proper home. His familiar climbed to his owner's head and fell asleep, looks like Beatbox had a familiar he liked... they both liked to sleep which was enough to love him very much.
