Starting an RP. But how?

Hi.

First I have to say that this is my first Forum-RPG, so I have no idea how to start this thing without getting killed instantly at the beginning. So I'm wondering if somebody would have the time and patience, to start a RP with me and help me getting used to the mechanics, and leveling-up a little bit.

First off, Welcome to Aincrad!  If you haven't already it is very important that you read the instruction section which has all the information:

If you have read it I can walk you through creating a thread and all the other mechanics.  If you want a combat thread I definitely don't recommend going alone AT ALL.  I'm always available to rp if you want to.  Level one can be annoying until you get gear and partners after all.  If you want my help, rp, or have questions you can always pm me!

You're on the right track.

Your best bet would be to head over to the duel and dance event thread on floor 2 and just socialize
