About: History/personality

Rhys is a skinny, dark haired male with green yes. His hair came down across his forehead, but some room above the eyes.  

He had an office job and lived alone. Never really excelling at anything, life just seemed to go by day by day. His family were always in touch, which despite their good intentions, he often found them to be a nuisance. He hated where his life had ended up, he hated his job and he often felt alone. 

Thankfully Rhys had an escape. Gaming. He had a secret life, away from the trials of everyday life. A place where he could be someone else. Upon discovering Sword Art Online, everything changed. This was a different kind of game. Perhaps here he could become the one thing he's always wanted to be. A better version of himself. 

Rhys is a good person, but his life has caused him to almost lose sight of this. Perhaps through his interactions in SAO, he will find that good person once again.
Virtues:

Master Strategist - Rhys picks up games quite easily. He has found himself to be very efficient in games such a chess a well as more combat orientated games.. He can see patterns and strategies emerging quickly and is able to expertly understand a counter plot against them. This has helped him become very manipulative as well. Every king needs some pawns.

Dangerous Mind Set - Feeling as though he has no influence in the real world, sword art online has made Rhys become a dangerous individual. Here he has a point to prove. Here, he can not only have influence, but be the most powerful player in the game.

Technically Sound - Due to his gaming past, Rhys has very little difficulty picking up rules and mechanics of new games. Within just a few hours of practice his techniques become to look almost flawless. Were it not for his low level,players would mistake him for a veteran of the game.

Flaws:

Loner - Despite actually being a caring individual, Rhys has difficulty befriending others. He is not against becoming a member of a party should the ends justify the decision. But don't expect any of his decisions to benefit anyone other than himself. 

Pride - Rhys is a proud individual. He looks at others and believes no matter what they are capable of, he should be on par or better. Given the option between admitting defeat or getting himself killed, he'll probably choose the latter. Small tasks like asking for help or admitting someone to be his better are almost impossible.

Morally Confused - Rhys has often banded together with rouges, player killers and hackers. This is often out of fear, in order to protect himself from those he is powerless to stop. This causes more friction between himself and other players. It is worth noting that Rhys often betrays these villains once he is safe or has has served his use. However, this just alienates him further.
