About: History/personality
Once upon a time Ardolf was a good person. He was warm hearted and caring, loving. Some people think that he still is. However, it changed when he started school when he was little. People had exploited his kindness to their advantage to get what they wanted. This continued for a while till it escalated to bullying and being isolated by his whole school. This grew him to be cold and hateful towards people. Ardolf then kept to himself and pushed everyone away from him in hopes that nothing like that could ever happen again. He joined SAO to try to get away from the world.

Ardolf tends to do his own thing. He doesn’t try to rely on anyone else to help him because of his bad past. This can make him seem cold or uncaring, but the reason is because Is scared to open up to people in fear of him being betrayed again. Ardolf wants to make sure that no matter what happens to everything around him, he won't get hurt again

Despite Ardolf being cold to people, he still cares about people. He would do his best to listen to other people and help them to the best of his abilities. Ardolf also tries to help cheer people up who seems down in his eyes.

Ardolf isn't afraid of anyone. He also keeps his cool when danger appears and doesn't back down. He also stands up to himself and others when he see someone being unfair or people bullying someone else

Melancholy

On the outside, Ardolf doesn't really seem to care about others. However this could not be farther from the truth. In fact he has more impulsive emotions than most people. Ardolf had been forced to suppress his emotions for so long that he has forgotten how to feel them. He wants to feel those suppressed feelings again, but he's not sure how to feel them again or who can help him.

Because of his being bullying and isolated, Ardolf has major trouble trusting others. He also tends to go into situations with skepticism and doesn’t want to trust anyone or anything there is good reason to trust. This is not an easy task because those who strive for his trust have to find ways to convince them to trust them. He wants to trust people like he used to but doesn’t know how.

Insomanic:

Ardolf has a hard time sleeping due to him being bullied a lot. He would try his best to forget his bad past but is unable to no matter how hard he tries. He continues to search for something that could help cure his insomnia.
