HISTORY

Harry had a rather normal childhood, one that could only be described as storybook. His parents loved him, he had a twin sister named Veronica, and an overall prosperous life. The young man never had to worry about money, never got into trouble, always got high grades, and had plenty of friends. Nothing seemed to go wrong for him for seventeen years, but of course everything changed in the blink of an eye.

On Veronica and Harry's eighteenth birthday, they were preparing to finally move out of their home and start their lives apart from each other. Veronica was planning to enter the modeling industry, a dream of hers that she had since she was little. Harry had plans to start his own music career as a solo artist, something that he dreamed of as well. Their parents entirely supported both decisions and were planning to surprise them each with their own companies, started from the ground up, with the very best workers that the pair could find.

At least, that was the plan.

Halfway through the day, Harry's parents had left to grab the surprises for their children, but after a few hours, they did not return. Harry and Veronica waited and waited, making call after call, but there was no reply. The pair decided to call the police, but they couldn't even track the parents' phones or anything. The young adults could only assume the worse, so they decided at that moment that there would be a change of plans.

They were not going on their own, instead they were going to find answers as to what happened, but they were going to do it together.

The twins searched for years, placing their dreams on hold, instead picking up their parents' company, a technology firm that specialized in robotics. Veronica managed the finances whilst Harry managed the workers. They furthered the progress of each product at a much faster speed than what their parents could ever do, working by day to run the company, but looking deeper into what happened to their parents at night.

That was when the company received a strange letter signed with the initials C.L. on their 21st birthday. The writer stated they knew who the two adults were and that they knew of what happened to the parents. Veronica and Harry were far too desperate for answers to even consider what happened next. The letter stated that if they wanted to know more, the two needed to join a game called Sword Art Online and beat it. Neither of the adults knew why a game was linked to all of this, but figured it was their only lead, so a decision was made by the pair. One of them would play the game and beat it.

The twin that was chosen was Harry. Veronica knew he surpassed her when it came to video games and knew that she could handle his side of the company, so the twins purchased a NerveGear, and Harry was prepared to enter the game. "I'll be back soon." Harry told Veronica as they hugged good-bye, but little did he know, he would end up trapped inside of the game.

ABOUT

Harry's online persona is one of seriousness. He does not consider SAO a game, but instead considers it as only an obstacle between him and the mysterious C.L. The man is a solo player who only worries about himself. When he first found out he could not log out, Harry felt devastated, knowing he would not see his sister for a long time or maybe even forever, but knew that he had to do this for the both of them. He does not play safely or enjoy working with others, but if he does get a comrade then he will protect them, much like he'd protect his sister if she was in the game. Harry keeps to himself in the world of SAO, so he merely aims to succeed.

VIRTUES

Charismatic: Harry may be a cold individual, but he has a way about him that just shows he is a natural born leader. The man is able to talk his way out of many situations and even convince others to follow him if he so wished. He also could be a great liar, if he so chose to go down that path.

Loyal: Harry has a strict moral code that involves him to never lie to a friend and to never betray someone's trust. Even if he does not trust someone, he will not fight fire with fire. Instead of deserting a fallen comrade, he would do anything he can to keep them alive, even if he won't stick with them long.

Quick-thinking: Harry is a rather intelligent person who is great at thinking on his feet. If the solution to a problem isn't clear, he will run many scenarios through his head just to find the most efficient solution. This could be anything from how to combat a threat to solving a simple puzzle.

Unyielding: Harry is the type of person who will never give up in a fight or on an individual. If someone proves that they are a true friend to him, he will protect them with his life and not allow any harm to come to them. If a challenge proves too difficult, he will work even harder to find the solution, always believing that there is one to everything.

 

VICES

Cold: Harry is not the most sociable of people, so he can seem to be a very distant and heartless person to those who don't know him. He tends to keep to himself and keep others away from him. It takes a lot of effort to get into his circle of friends and even more effort to stay there.

Distrusting: Harry is not the type of person to trust someone right away. He feels that trust should be earned and not just given to every person he meets. If someone offers to help him, he will always suspect that they have a hidden agenda of some sorts. He also finds people who trust without thinking to be idiotic.

Overprotective: Harry may not care for many people, but if someone gets close enough to him, he can seem to be far too caring. If someone becomes this close to him, he will want to keep them in his sights and away from any and all danger. This can be especially shown if a stranger tries to approach someone who he considers a friend and could end in violence if not kept under control.

Vengeful: Harry is not the type of person who you would want to double-cross personally or cause any harm to his comrades. He is the type of person who will take an eye for an eye quite literally and will avenge any harm done to his friends with an equal or greater harm. The worse part about this vice is that he will stop at nothing to get back at the enemy, unless someone he really cares about could be hurt or can persuade him to calm down.
