(PP-NK-F1) Jupiter Jazz Arc Part 1 (Korrina-san, Girlscanplay2)

Ed was walking through the busy streets of Starting City, hoping to find some allies for the game. Three allies would be good enough. She thought to herself that two heads are better than one, but three are better than two, and so on. She never quite understood that saying. Having three heads on one body would be more annoying than helpful. Perhaps she just shouldn't look into it much. Most sayings never make sense when you look into them. Regardless, she needed some partners. Ed was tempted to go out on her own, but that would be way to risky. She heard of a player who did that on their first day, that was someone she wanted on her side. Ed ran through the streets looking for a partner that wasn't an NPC. That was when luck came through once again and she encountered a girl with blue, messy hair. "Umm, hi there! Would you like to be my partner?" Ed quickly as she stopped and faced the girl.

Korrina was not one who liked to be talked to often, usually because she just felt like killing them. That was fun to do so. But when a girl asks to be your partner when you have nothing else, it's hard to say no. "I guess I will. I don't really have a choice. My name is Korrina by the way. Who are you? I need to know this kind of stuff if you are going to be my partner." Korrina replied. Korrina shook her head and laughed briefly. "She sure is brave to ask me to be her partner. Then again, she knows nothing about me... I'll let it slide for now." Korrina thought to herself as she looked up and smiled at Ed. It wasn't like Korrina was planning on killing Ed later, she actually intended to work with her. Maybe this game would be her way of leaving her past behind.

Ed smiled at this response and gave a one two clap. "Thank you so much. Call me Ed. I look forward to working with you Korrina. Now, I need to find that solo player and maybe get them to work with us. Let's go!" Ed smiled as she grabbed Korrina's hand and began to run. She felt a slight tug and turned around to see Korrina giving a "I will kill you if you don't let go" stare. Ed quickly let go and Korrina went back to smiling. "This player went out on her own and has her own unique sword. He sounds awesome. We could use a guy like that." Ed told Korrina as they walked through the crowd. Ed already had plans for a brilliant squad of players, maybe Korrina would be a key member... if she didn't kill Ed first. She doubted that though, Korrina seemed like a good person.

Korrina went along with Ed who had made the mistake of grabbing her hand briefly. A quick glare was all it took to make Ed let go. As they walked, Korrina thought to herself how odd this was. How did Ed know this player and what she planning on doing with her and this person? Maybe it was fate that Korrina met Ed, maybe not. Ed was talking highly of this solo player and made it sound like someone that they should trust and respect. Korrina was not someone who trust all these people, but killing was a really risky move when she had almost nothing. She would be easy picking soon after. She decided she would just play along with Ed until the time was right. Hopefully, she thought to herself, she wouldn't get too attached to these people. Humans are only walls that block your way, you shouldn't have feelings for them.

Miyu was minding her own business walking through the streets of Starting City, preparing to head out again for another hunt. Her HP was fully restored and she was ready to go. Her Parallel Edge was looking good and she couldn't wait to use it for a test run. Miyu was still craving for candy, but not as much. She knew it would be a long time until the game was cleared. The frontliners were only as far as the nineteenth floor from what she heard. Being on the frontlines, what a dream. Those players were so powerful. The only issue was that there were more boys than girls on the frontlines. "I'll show them all!" Miyu thought to herself. She would show them, not just boys could fight. Being on the frontlines, even if it was floor 99, she wouldn't care. In the midst of her thinking however, she heard a voice shouting, "Solo player! Where are you?!" she turned around to see two blue haired girls, one taller than the other. Sisters, Miyu thought.

Ed figured if she yelled out "Solo player!" repeatedly, she would catch the attention of said solo player. Only issue was, Ed thought that the player was a guy. When Miyu looked over at the two, Ed was a bit confused. "She can't be the solo player" Ed thought. Ed immediately ran ahead of Korrina and slowed down once she reached Miyu. "Do you know a player who owns the sword 'Parallel Edge'?" Ed asked as she caught her breath. If this truly was the solo player, Ed's plans would be much easier to complete. Hopefully, Korrina wouldn't scare this player away, or kill her. Korrina was already not someone she trusted alone. Hopefully this player wouldn't be a psychopath. Psychopaths are fine, they just drive you crazy, one is about all she could take. This player did not look crazy at least, which was a slight relief for Ed.

Miyu was surprised and slightly angry when this completely random stranger asked if she had the Parallel Edge. One, how would she know she had the sword? Two, this girl probably thought that Miyu didn't even have the sword and was just a weak player. "You're looking for someone with that sword? Well, that person is right here!" Miyu declared proudly as she opened her menu and equipped her Parallel Edge. Ed stared at the sword briefly as Korrina caught up to her. Miyu examined the two and concluded that they were sisters. "Are you two sisters by any chance?" Miyu asked, getting a not so friendly glare from Korrina right after. "Maybe they aren't sisters after all..." Miyu thought as she unequipped her sword and sent a party request to both Ed and Korrina, smiling at them as she did so. They seemed like nice people, well, Ed at least seemed nice.

Yeah, referring Korrina as Ed's sister is not the best way to start off a relationship with Korrina in any way what so ever. "I'm not her little sister! She's just... my partner. Good Arceus, it does seem like we are sisters when you say it like that. Anyway, I'm Korrina!" Korrina introduced herself and bowed quickly. Not a bad first impression, but that have could have gone better. "So you're that solo player Ed speaks so highly of? Well guess what? You're part of our group now!" Korrina exclaimed as she clicked the accept button and joined Miyu's party, as she watched Ed do the same. Perfect, a true fighting force to behold. All that was needed now was training and trust, which would take a while. This group may be the way to forget about her past, which she had no intentions of telling anyone obviously.

Miyu did not have a clue on what to think about Korrina. At first, she seemed like a cold person, and now she seems nice and sweet. She had better not be a faker. "If there are three things I hate, it's liars, nudists, and boys" Miyu thought to herself. She smiled as she watched Ed and Korrina click the accept button on the party request. "Alright! I guess we're officially a party! Let's go and slaughter those monsters!" Miyu declared as she began to lead Ed and Korrina through the town. It was definitely a maze, but Miyu knew her way out this time around. She had just came from the fields in fact. So leading these two outside the town would be a piece of candy, or cake, candy was better. If only she had some. "Get over it! No more candy!" Miyu shouted, before remembering that Ed and Korrina were with her. "Nothing! I said nothing at all! Ha ha ha" Miyu laughed, trying to act like nothing even was said.
