Kasier 0 Posted December 6, 2016 #21 Share Posted December 6, 2016 Before Kasier was situated and standing still, she heard a collision occurring and immediately, her attention was directed towards Itzal to see the black-haired man falling towards her, his head coming right at her chest. There was no point of attempting to dodge and avoid the collision, the man was coming at her with too fast of a pace for her to react to. Before she was even situated and clear what was happening, the man had already made contact with her and a thump could be heard as both of the players fell on the ground. Before she could even recover from the fall, she could already fell the man grabbing for her hand, apologizing immediately. And that was when Kasier lost it. This isn't Itzal. This is merely a shadow of himself. The Itzal that she knew would never stop in the middle of a fight. The real Itzal would never look so stressed and depressed no matter what situation he is in. The real Itzal loves her but does not need her. That is the real Itzal. And here, Itzal isn't what he was... Itzal looked depressed and wary, far from what she thinks of him. "Ok, snap out of it. So what we have an argument? So what we have an conflict? Look at you, Felix. You are in such a sad state. Now, go fight those crocodiles like the way you should be fighting them." Kasier shouted, feeling tears on her eyes as she felt a wave of emotions. "Itzal, you are changing... You seem so needy of me. What I want is love from you, not for you to need me as part of your life." Kasier said, "Now go finish off the battle like the old Itzal would and don't talk to me until you have finished the battle completely."
Morgenstern 1 Posted December 6, 2016 #22 Share Posted December 6, 2016 (edited) OOC-So sorry about the order XD Jonathan tried to keep his gaze to himself, as Itzal as put in a awkward position, and appeared to just be making it worse on himself. He wanted to try and to stay out of this one, not trying to get himself back in a fight with Kasier, becuase he got involved and put her in a position that made him angry with him. All Jonathan knew is that, Itzal was not doing so good, not even touching his opponent or doing anything really in general. Jonathan sighed and gripped his weapon. He did not do much damage, and did not strike that often, but he was going to give his all to finish this creature. He advanced on the damned scale creature that had wormed its way out of being hit twice. He growled and moved in quickly, striking the creature multiple times. With a graceful backflip, he retreated to his friend's side ensuring he did not take any damage. Your up Itz. Jonatha said those words, not even going to look what was going on. Last time he wanted to know what happened, their relationship started. Itzal 0 Posted December 6, 2016 Author #23 Share Posted December 6, 2016 (edited) Itzal was silent as Kasier, what. Lectured? Scolded? He couldn't find the right word. He could hear her tears slipping through and listened to her words. When she finished Jonathan called out that he was up. He thought about her words for a moment. Needy, sad state, battle... Was this what all women wanted? He was so terribly inexperienced he didn't know. However... He really didn't need to know did he? Kasier was here to guide him. He took a deep breath, thankful that he hadn't started crying just yet. He pushed himself up and stood there for a moment. Still holding her hand Itzal lifted Kasier back to her feet, his face a little flushed from the awkward position they ended up in. She can see him steel himself and get over his emotions. He smiled gently to her. "As you wish." And with that he turned around and blocked the combined strike from the three crocodiles. They landed a critical hit on him but his block kept a major critical from happening. After that he swung his blade at them to push them back and opened his menu swiftly, pulling out one of his only debuff items, and threw it at the monster directly in front of him. It backed up in surprise and the music erupted, forcing the crocodile's evasion down by one. With that Itzal charged forward and struck at the monsters, not aiming to damage, but to keep their attention. As one snapped it's jaw at him he jumped into the air in a backflip, avoiding the strike. Kasier 0 Posted December 6, 2016 #24 Share Posted December 6, 2016 (edited) Kasier didn't know if her words had been too harsh. She actually started regretting saying such things as soon as they came out of her mouth. Perhaps she had been too aggressive and too rash to say such things. It didn't matter though, she would ask for an apology later on. Still, she will not endure this new Itzal. He seems way too desperate and he looked almost sick, as if he was depressed over something. Hopefully, it wasn't over their conflict as that was only normal for a relationship. Kasier wanted the best for Itzal and if Itzal is so used to having her by his side every single day and every single fight, he won't be able to hold it together when she's gone. Death in this game is common, frequent and almost commonly accepted. There would be a time when Kasier is no longer by Itzal's side, no longer holding his hand during tough times. There will be a time when Kasier will be a flowing wave of pixels, flying into the heavens and looking down upon the world of Aincrad with what remains of her soul. There will be that time and when that time comes, Itzal won't be able to stand it. Hence, she despised the way that he seemed to needy of her existence. It was as though the trust between the two was failing. Sure, Kasier needed Itzal just as much as he needs her, but she knows that he will always be by her side no matter what conflicts or troubles they face. Itzal, evidently was not like that, and she will change that. She'll let him know that she won't have stray away from him until the day that her health points reach zero. And even when that happens, she'll be with Itzal. Kasier let out a smile as Itzal stood up once more and moved to strike the opponents. During this time, she was so absorbed in whatever was happening that she simply forgot the fact that Itzal had taken damage. I'll heal him next turn. She thought, realizing that the damage wasn't anything significant to worry about. @Morgenstern Edited December 8, 2016 by Kasier
Morgenstern 1 Posted December 12, 2016 #25 Share Posted December 12, 2016 (edited) Jonathan sighed. For once, he was not having that much fun in a battle. The blond eyes adverted from the creature to Itzal and Kasier. Kasier stood still, but Itzal seemed to be preparng himself. He chucked and item at the creature, and it retreated a bit in surprise. Then the object began to play a song by Itzal himself. Nice some battle music. Jonathan thought to himself. He took a breath and advanced, not giving his enemy any time to attack. He slashed and hacked at his opponent and brought it into the red, ready for Itzal to finish You have it Itzal! Jonathan retreated away from the Croc, his White Jacket flowing behind him. He looked over Kasier and as usual, he could not tell her emotion or mood, but it really was none of his business. As long as Itzal finished off the creature he had damaged, the battle should end shortly. It was a shame Itzal got the col, but it was cool. Jonathan had little hope that there would ever be a tank unique skill available to him. Itzal 0 Posted December 12, 2016 Author #26 Share Posted December 12, 2016 (edited) Itzal did not stop his ongoing assault as he struck over and over again at the crocs. The creatures were figuring out that they needed to use the armor on their body, twisting themselves so they could deflect his sword. So they did so. Itzal struck at them and sometimes they managed a dodge, sometimes they managed to deflect his attack. When they rushed over to get a bite out of him however, he was way too fast for them and dodged the attack easily. When one swung it's massive and powerful tail at him he slid across the ground on his knees and struck at it from the other side, once again deflected. He didn't care however. He would destroy these three monsters if it were the last thing he did. Even if he wasted all his energy he would not stop. He leaped above two of them to strike against the one he had used the debuff on but it managed to deflect his attack as well. Perhaps it was time to use soul barrage then.... Kasier 0 Posted December 12, 2016 #27 Share Posted December 12, 2016 (edited) ID: 72051 CD: 5+3=8 <<First Aid>> Activated Kasier watched as the battle continued to unfold. It shouldn't take that much longer for the battle to end but she was getting quite frustrated. Even so, as a healer, she must heal Felix who she had failed to heal last time. Well... Not really failed but much rather forgot to heal to be honest. She thought, quite amused by it. It was the first time that she had "forgotten" to heal someone and that was a failure for a healer to behold. Still, she couldn't feel but smile at her own mistake. It was good once in a while to make a mistake and laugh at it for mistakes are the key to making progress. Without speaking, she walked up to Itzal, grunted so he knew that she was behind him and ready to heal him before placing her hands on his back for the second time that day and activating <<First Aid>> for the second time that day, healing the man back to full health for the second time that day. Hopefully I won't have to heal again. She thought to herself, "The battle's almost over. You can do it." She whispered quietly to Itzal before turning around and walking back to her location. Wow... I can't stay mad at him. She thought, slapping herself during the process. Itzal: 860/860 - 51/86 - 4 hate @Morgenstern Edited December 12, 2016 by Kasier
Morgenstern 1 Posted December 13, 2016 #28 Share Posted December 13, 2016 (edited) Jonathan stood by, allowing Itzal to make his moves and he ended up missing. Jonathan sighed. The man needed to get his head out of the guter. Kasier healed him, returning the man to full health. Not sure how I feel about those two. I mean am happy for them, but I believe their relationship was born of Resentment and Anger. Surprised bit that it has worked well. Jonathan did not notice that the Croc had smacked him on his legs, and sent him face first in the sand. Jonathan spit out sand and crawled back. That did not hurt at all, must just be for kicks. Jonathan chuckled and waited. This was a very dull battle, and Jonathan did not exactly want it to continue much longer. He looked over to Kasier who had her weapon at her hip. It was not for damage, but for effects instead. If she never uses it, why does she lug it around? The woman easily could have invested Evasion there instead. 72058 BD:4 Edited December 13, 2016 by Morgenstern
Itzal 0 Posted December 14, 2016 Author #29 Share Posted December 14, 2016 (edited) The croc's were almost defeated. One more hit and they'd be down for the count. He leaped between them and saw Jonathan get kicked into the sand. At least he didn't get kicked into someone else. He dodged another croc's attack and the other two's as well, his swift reflexes and fast paced mind keeping up easily with the three monsters. Then he landed on the ground solidly, his blade poised and glowing as his sword art charged. The three monsters leaped at him and he released shadow explosion, moving his blade faster than most people's eye could follow. After all his training this blade was beginning to feel rather lightweight in his hands. It would soon be time to advance to a much heavier blade. After he finished the attack the three shattered into millions of pieces each. The loot menu popped up and Itzal distributed it evenly between the three of them: They each received one Tier 1 MAT and Two thousand one hundred fifty col.
