American law school is known to be academic hell on earth, and Clementine Maurie has been a determined student for what seems like an eternity. Well, it's really only been three years, but it really has felt like an eternity to the poor girl. Day in and day out since graduating high school, her mind has been made to feel more and more tenuous. The stresses of becoming an adult on top of vying for success in this broken world has been enough to drive most people completely mad. However, everybody has an escape, and for Clementine it has always and always will be the realm of video games. A mind like hers cannot be bothered by menial social structures and entertaining the feeble, or better yet simple casuals. No no, her mind cannot be distracted unless really put to the test. Only the hardest of strategy, roleplaying, and puzzle games will do. After drilling curriculum into her head until she has reached the threshold of retention, she allots just enough time to satisfy her escape from reality.

Before Sword Art Online's release, Clementine had gotten word of it by an old colleague of hers who now lived and studied in Tokyo. Interests were piqued to say the least, and not long after its release to the public did she have herself a package from Japan with everything that she needed to connect to the servers right there in her bedroom.

Virtues

Integrity: As a law student truth, transparency, and the ability to stick to your word is a virtue that Clementine has held deep within herself. She cannot help but to have integrity at all times.

Creative: There are a million ways to skin a cat, and sometimes you just have to take the most convoluted route to get the results you want. You either understand or you don't. Clementine Understands.

Temperance: Everything should be handled in moderation, or at least, that's what Clementine believes. She's damn good at it, too. Good luck trying to get her to play politics.

Vices

Wrath: In a yearning for justice, Clementine will with absolute resolve be the first to raise arms and the last to let down her guard.

Impatience: Ideals and fundamentals are thoughts in the realm of philosophy. Thoughts are instant and results should be too.

Arrogance: While not a very prominent trait, Clementine can at times be very arrogant. Proud contempt over others tends to turn people off in the heat of conversation, but some things can't be helped.
