[SP-F1] Training for Leveling Up Part 1 [Complete]

Dominion looked down at the boar and saw the boar suddenly stop breathing once again and just like a couple seconds before, he prepared for the worst. Suddenly boar attempted to roll back onto its legs on the side it had tried to roll back on first. However Dominion jumped over the boar's body in the way. The boar began moving around wildly again, attempting to hit Dominion in whatever way it could. Dominion gets both his legs hit by the boar as he leaps over, causing them to sprinkle more red particles over the boar. He looked up at his health bar once he had landed, which had dropped significantly once again. A Critical Success sign arose from above his HP, which didn't startle him the second time. "You are still being just as predictable as the last time you tried to escape, so stop trying, seriously." Dominion shook his head in disappointment.

Dominion decided to try to leap over to the other side of the boar before it could try to roll over. As he made the leap, his foot actually got caught beneath the boar and he tumbled on top of it. The opportunity to free itself from the oppression of Dominion was right there, literally in the reach of the boar. Even so, the boar did not even attempt to make an escape, but instead just stayed in place, waiting for something. Dominion could only think that the boar just didn't realize its chance and that it would be stuck for quite some time. Dominion was stood up, removing some nervous sweat from his brow. That could have been a close one if the had tried to do anything at that time. Then Dominion realized that the beast was still being predictable. "boar, you just did the same thing you did for the last thirty seconds... you are so predictable right now, its not funny."

Dominion was going to take a step back to evaluate his decision, but his leg got caught in the tall grass. He could feel his weight shift to the side, pulling his body in the same direction. In an attempt to stop himself, he only flailed his arms in the air. He came crashing down beside the Boar, his feet right next to its head. What is up with my balance? This is the second time consecutively I have done something so stupid... I wonder if there is suck thing as bad luck in this game, because I would hope I wouldn't do that in the real world. Dominion frowned as he put his arms to his side to stand back up. He glanced back at the dormant boar, no movement besides the rise and fall of the chest. Dominion smiled, I guess there is such thing as luck, as that boar didn't become active from such an obvious fail...

Dominion had stood back up for only a second when he realized the boar had successfully rolled over onto to its side. Oh crud. The boar turned its focus on Dominion. It smashed its hoof into the ground before making a charge upon Dominion. Dominion took the few second he had to get into a stance. Not one that would negate damage, but would do as much as he could. The boar began its charge and ran right into Dominion's abdomen. He could feel red particles from the impact of the boar's charge escape his body. He put his strength into his arms, putting immense pressure on both sides. He then pulled up and over his head, throwing the boar several feet behind himself. Due to the sheer amount of damage to his own body, he could already tell the boar made a Critical Success.

Dominion began to turn his body around, but suddenly became dizzy. He turned his upper body, but his lower body remained where it was. His could tell by his sight that he was no longer balanced in his stance and fell backwards. His back hit against the ground with tremendous force, while ironically his battle healing skill healed the wound he just received. This is so strange. I was doing fine, got dizzy and fell over backwards on the ground. Somehow, instead of dealing damage to myself, I heal a small amount. Talk about weird game logic. Dominion looked up to see that the boar became disinterested for a couple seconds as well, before realizing where Dominion was in comparison to itself. Shoot, I better get up quick. Dominion put both hands on the ground to either side of him and launched his body back up so that he was standing.

Dominion had just thought he had gotten up, but turned his body to early to face the boar. He began to fall to the side just as the boar began to charge. WHAT! Oh crud, I am about to be pummeled. Dominion was falling backwards as the boar crashed into his side. He was forced several feet back, rolling in the tall grass. He finally stopped rolling several feet from the boar. His side felt like it was on fire, tons of red particles were escaping his body, but were healed rather quickly from the passive battle healing. "Stop charging me boar! That last charge hurt like crazy." Dominion just turned over so that he was looking at the tall grass beneath his body. He grabbed his side and could only hope the boar would wait a second before attacking him again. Dang, If I sustain several of attacks like that in a row, I might actually stand a chance to die. I really don't want that chance to become a reality...

Dominion was laying on the ground, looking down at the ground beneath him, with tall grass to both sides of him. Dominion did expect that the boar would charge him at some point, especially since he was laying on the ground helpless. Dominion had waited for what felt like forever, expecting some sort of force to just pummel into him. After a few seconds he looked up to see the boar running atop the tall grass right at him. He stuck his head down as the boar ran right on top of him. He was trampled upon, crushed beneath the stampeding hooves of the boar. He stayed there, the pain was traveling through his back now, not to mention his stomach from the previous attack. As much as this hurts, I do need to stand up and get situated to a new location. I am clearly at a disadvantage here.

As Dominion made the choice to stand up and travel to a new location, Dominion thought to find where the boar was located. He raised his head to look up for the boar, but the boar was charging at him once again. He immediately ducked his head into the ground. Right after the pain traveled through his back, Dominion stood up and ran. He had no exact destination to go to, but he was very sure he was going to find a new spot. Almost any spot could be better than this spot. Back in the real world, when you became accustomed to a spot, you began to realize how it worked. Apparently he was just right for this game since he never stayed at one location longer than a year at best. Traveling gave Dominion freedom and relaxation in whatever new spot he arrived at. Dominion saw just the right spot to go to, marked by its tall grass and lack of boars.

Dominion was still running when the boar caught up from behind. "Well I guess this place will have to do..." Dominion turned and braced himself, expecting the charge. The boar had gained quite the momentum as he charged into Dominion. Dominion put both arms out, ready to apply pressure with both, to flip the boar above his head. When the boar approached though, it ran slightly to the right side, crashing into his right thigh. Dominion used the position of his body to, instead of flipping the boar directly up, thrust his hands in fists to the right side of his body, hitting the boar as it passed with stunning force. The boar's direction was pivoted to the side by more than 45 degrees. This gave Dominion the chance to continue running. "Almost at the intended destination."

Dominion ran, his shirt was rustled around by a sudden breeze perpendicular to the direction in which he was running. When Dominion crossed over the perimeter to his intended destination, a different part of the large grasslands that was for all practical terms "Empty", he began to slow down. Looking around him, there was no obvious sight of any boars. When he turned his body to face the place he came from, he could hear the boar running behind him. The boar was not far off, trailing by a couple seconds at best. Dominion prepared himself, standing in the unfamiliar territory with both arms ready to swing. He faced away from the boar, using his hearing to pinpoint the boar's direction. He could hear more noise in his right ear, so he turned his body to the right 45 degrees and kicked.

Snapping his leg out from his body, Dominion made a successful kick on the boar as the boar just barely missed his leg. Dominion planted his right foot on the ground, pivoted his body weight to turn towards the running boar, and charged after it. Dominion didn't know what he was doing, as this type of fighting style was not his forte. He began to catch up seconds after running, but the boar suddenly halted. It turned its head and glared at Dominion as if in a stand-still. Dominion stopped where he was, sliding a bit on the tall grass. The boar turned the rest of its body around to face Dominion and charged him. Dominion put both arms in front of him, expecting the boar to take to either side of him. However, the boar came in front of him. Dominion extended a punch forward as the two crashed into one another, critical success signs popping up for both of them.

The crash between the two of them was loud and full of slashing and squealing. Dominion punched the boar in the side as it busted into his own stomach. Dominion didn't have the time to look up, proceeding to throw a second punch into the boar. It squealed loudly as it continued to put pressure on Dominion's stomach wound. He could feel the pain go up his side, but he was ignoring it with his consecutive punch that crashed into the boar's side. He didn't care about the pain or loss of HP at the moment, especially when the fight got so intense all of a sudden. Dominion was now on his knees in the tall grass, eye level with the aggressive boar. The intensity was either at its peak, or it had a long way to go. Dominion leaned back, hoping to get enough time to try to stand back up before the boar could injure him further.

Dominion leaned back, keeping his eyes on the boar as he did so. He leaned back until he could use his muscles to flip himself into a standing position. He was finally up, but was mindful that the boar could have started a charge. With this in mind, Dominion looked ahead of him to see the boar, standing where he was as if contemplating attacking. Dominion knew that the boar ran off of strength and instinct instead of wisdom and knowledge, but that didn't change his thought. Dominion began to walk slowly back while keeping an eye on the boar. The battle crazed boar began to stomp its hooves wildly, making Dominion more alert. However, the boar didn't make a move of any greater magnitude than this, which pleased Dominion. He needed some time for his wounds from this combat location and the last one to heal by the means of the battle healing skill.

Dominion put both legs into his monk stance, the one that was taught by the monks. He put both hands in a wide spacing, which made him ready for any attack in practically any direction. He closed his eye's and used his senses. He could hear nothing, which was no surprise to him. He had been told that there was a specific skill in the game that would help you search for people and things. Dominion could get another skill at any given time, but he knew that he would probably regret whatever he got later. He couldn't switch his skills once he got them, so he had to prepare for that. Dominion opened his eyes again to see the boar rushing at him. Dominion whispered a song to himself that he heard played on the Black Serpent in the Chinese Monastery in the real world. After doing so, he moved his hands in a fluent motion, making precise contact with the boar.

When he made the successful hit against the boar, the boar flew to the side. It crashed against the ground a couple feet away from Dominion. Dominion did not move to see the boar, but got up and looked at his health bar above his head again. It had risen up to full, which to him was a relief. "Thank goodness. That drop in health was rather scary." Dominion looked back down and to the side, catching a glimpse of some lower level players just beginning to step out of their comfort zone and fight the mobs on the first floor. However, these mobs could be the difference for those players between life and death. Dominion was glad to see that some people had more courage than himself, an it wasn't like Dominion didn't do stupid stuff to learn from before. Dominion refocused his gaze on the quiet boar that remained on the ground, completely silent.

Dominion was no longer in the mood to give the boar a chance, especially after its latest charge on him. Dominion moved over to the silent boar that lay on the ground and he threw a punch directly into it's side. The health bar of the boar dropped by a small margin, which was not terrible. Every point of damage counted, since the fight had been prolonged. Dominion recoiled his hand back when he expected the boar to react, but nothing happened. The boar did not move from its spot, which only made Dominion more confused. The boar was so predicable earlier in the day, so what has changed besides the location... or does the location in this game actually affect how the mob acts? Dominion just shrugged as he thought about this. I think that I may be over examining the situation by a little bit. Well, it doesn't matter that much as long as I finish combat soon.

Dominion was still looking down at the boar when it suddenly attempted to get up. Dominion knew that fighting the boar was went much more his way when he kept it in an enclosed space. Therefore, Dominion tried his hardest to keep the boar from getting up and make it feel surrounded. This would make the boar either more aggressive or more dormant, neither of which would get in the way of making attacks against the boar. Dominion moved around the boar's body that lay in the grass on its left side, making sure to stay right next to the boar at all times. Dominion finally decided that it would be much easier to kick the spawned mob that to lean closer to the ground and strike it with his fist. Dominion kicked out with his left leg, but the boar began to move a couple seconds earlier, which was just enough to dodge the kick.

Dominion smiled as the boar just barely escaped the kick he had done. "Don't move boar, I want to make a successful attack against you", Dominion says bluntly to the boar which he thought couldn't understand him. Then Dominion made another kick at the boar, but this one hit the boar as it froze in place. Then, while Dominion was caught off guard, the boar rolled it's weight onto Dominions kicking leg and began moving it's hooves as quickly as possible. Dominion was hit by several of the swipes made from the boars hooves, which Dominion found were quite painful. "That was very clever for a boar, but that wouldn't have been as clever had I made a character build of a DPS. You would have lost all your health when I attacked and there would have been nothing that you could have done about that", Dominion said to the boar as he ripped his leg away from it.

Dominion was just able to get his leg out of the crazed rampage of the boar that lay on the ground. Dominion grabbed his leg as he could feel the battle healing start to kick in. He looked back in the direction of the silent and still boar, laying on the tall grass that had now been flattened down somewhat. Dominion really wanted this fight to come to a close, but as he looked at the health bar of the mob, he had only barely lowered it's health bar below half. He still had little over a fourth of a health bar to deplete before he could make his spot in the first floor, a tavern on the first floor, or a blacksmith shop to buy some better gear. This solo adventure had to be something worth while, no matter what the "something" was. Dominion decided to sit down for a couple seconds before resuming the battle against the boar.

Dominion had just sat down when the boar rolled back up, both hooves beneath its body. It stomped its right front hoof with aggression and began to charge at Dominion. Dominion had turned his head just in time to see the boar making its charge and decided to stand up again. He leaned his torso back, extended his legs, and flipped his body to a standing position. He immediately pivoted his body, swaying to the left side so not to be hit directly by the beast. Following the boar's narrow miss, Dominion kicked out at the boar with a mighty kick and landed it in the middle of it's side. The boar was launched in the direction of the kick several feet, finally landing on its side and taking maximum damage. A little Critical Success sign popped up above the health bar of the boar. Dominion got a glance on the sign before turning the attention back on the boar.
