[SP-F1] Training for Leveling Up Part 1 [Complete]

For a brief few seconds of examining the boar, Dominion had gathered that the boar was not going to make another attack on him quite yet. Using the given information about the boar, not to mention the other times in the battle that the boar just went dormant, Dominion would plan to make a quick attack to it's side before backing off. Dominion was standing, even though he had wanted to sit down. He began walking the few steps in order to be beside the boar, squatted beside it, and raised his fist. He launched an attack against the side, throwing his fist in the direction of the boar with enough force to deal damage. Now, I need to back off and wait... or make another consecutive attack on the beast. Either way, it would be good to land a few more hits before the boar becomes angered. Dominion stood back up from his squatting position.

Dominion had just gotten up when he saw the boar shift its body on the ground. Dominion mistook this as an aggressive display and kicked the boar in the side. A Critical Success sign arose again over the boar's health bar. When Dominion realized that he had just hurt the boar when it did not actually show any aggression toward him, he did not smile. He was having quite the battle with this boar, and he needed the fight to end, no matter what he thought of morally. Dominion shrugged his head at the boar, which was not even looking in his direction. I guess no matter what the boar does, I should continue to strike at it. Dominion looked at the health bar above the boar's head and noticed that it was only a little over one fourth remaining. Only several more strikes to go, but at least there was progress to show for this battle.

Dominion was looking at the health bar above the boar and noticed it shift to the right. Dominion looked down to see the boar moving right on the ground, so Dominion struck out with his foot. A sudden snapping noise came from his pants as he released his leg in a crisp kick, aimed directly at the boar's side again. Dominion landed it against its's side before recoiling his leg back from the boar. As Dominion watched his kick, he saw the health bar drop significantly once again, which was a truly good sign. Another bonus was the Critical Success sign that arose over it's health bar at exactly the same time. Alright, you are making more obvious progress. The boar's health bar is dropping to be a little more than a fourth full. As long as I land a couple more successful attacks in this location, I may go to a new one and hold it there until the battle is over.

Dominion had just landed a critical success against the boar. He was paying close attention to the boar's hp, trying to make up his mind on when he would go to a new location. He was finally coming up with the conclusion that he should wait until he took the boar down to only a fourth of it's original health bar. Suddenly, the boar began to shift from side to side, trying to roll its body back up and attack Dominion. Dominion was startled by this but tried to keep his composure. He waited until the boar was almost up, only to kick it's side. The boar fell back over, flattening the tall grass once again. Dominion saw that he had done another damage to the boar's health bar, dropping it slightly closer to the intended amount. Dominion began to take a half step back, hoping that this would trigger the boar to move again.

Dominion was placing his leg back, only a half step. Suddenly he lost his balance and fell backwards. Dominion's back landed against the tall grass, which sort of softened the landing. He lifted his head and looked over at the boar, which just remained on it's side. Dominion had gotten used to this being the case. That boar would only attack at the weirdest of times. Dominion decided to roll over, putting both arms beneath his body like a push-up, allowing himself to lift his torso off of of the ground. He did so, placing his legs beneath his body and stood up from that position. He was currently facing away from the boar, looking at a tree in the distance. He had remembered when the girl had asked him beside that tree to occupancy him on the quest currently on this floor. He was still waiting to do the quest, but soon he would go with her a defeat the boss.

Dominion was thinking about what he would do in the nearby future, paying no attention to the boar that was behind him. Dominion realized that the boar could have gotten back up by now and may have even started a charge. Dominion turned his head to look back as he saw the boar sway just enough to get back on it's hooves. Dominion pivoted the rest of his body, now facing the boar that was back up. Dominion got into a sturdy stance, one that was not taught to him by the monks, but by his father. He leaned his right arm further forward than his left, which must have made him look ridiculous. However, Dominion did not mind his appearance as much as he wanted this fight to be over. The boar began to charge toward Dominion after it had stomped it's hoof on the ground, as if to intimidate Dominion.

Dominion waited for just the right time, extending his first fist strike to the side as he shifted his own body weight away from the boar. Dominion struck the boar in the side and then proceeded to strike again. However, the second strike sent him completely off balance and fell onto the ground. Dominion held his head as he got back up, but turned to make sure the boar did not do anything while he was down. When he turned to look over in the direction which the boar had charged to, Dominion was surprised to see that it had fallen over onto it's own side and was absolutely still. What is going on! I made a successful hit on the boar, but then I missed the boar completely and yet it is one the ground? Dominion kept his hand on his head as he moved his torso back so that he was now kneeling on the tall grass where he landed.

Dominion had gotten back on his knees, as he knelled on the ground looking at he impressive landscape. The creators of this game must have intended to make the stay in this world very good, because the scenery is absolutely fantastic. I have seen stuff like this in China, but to have all these different terrains in one game and make it feel real is an amazing job on their part. Dominion began to focus again, pushing his torso forward to begin to stand up. He extended one of his arms to support his upper body as he stood up. Once he was on his two feet again, he began to walk toward the boar which lay completely dormant on the ground. Dominion would have thought that the boar was dead, had he not fought any other mobs before to know that they turned into particles when they were finally defeated.

Dominion got a bit too close to the boar, leaning over it. He kicked the boar, which made boar suddenly aggressive. Dominion was startled by its sudden reaction and Dominion backed up. He placed both of his legs in a wide stance, one that he would use to focus completely on damage. Dominion waited only a second or two, just enough for the boar to get up and begin it's charge on Dominion. Dominion took little notice to the fact that the boar did not stomp it's hoof on the ground like a normal attack. Dominion was prepared... well not quite prepared for the amount of damage the boar would deal to his stomach. Dominion was in pain, but his body did not fail him. He grabbed the boar from both sides, his right arm was slightly further up on the boar's side to allow him the ability to flip the boar over him.

Dominion exerted all his strength to flip the boar over his body and onto the ground behind him. He could feel the immense pain in his abdomen decrease. Dominion grabbed his side anyways and turned around to look at the health bar above the boar's head. Dominion saw that the health was at about a fourth of its starting health. Dominion realized this and began to run. He made it several yards before the boar was able to stand back up and chase after him. I just need to find a new spot to end the battle at. At that place, I will make my final stand. Dominion could see two places in the distance that would fit the area he intended to fight at. Both places were in secluded areas, where mobs had currently not spawned yet. Dominion saw that area and began to make his way to the right location.

Dominion had began to turn to the location that he finally decided on, but he turned his head to see where the boar was in comparison to himself. When he turned his head, he saw that the boar was several steps behind him. However, Dominion lost his balance and fell over, putting his hands in front of his face. Right after he made impact with the tall grass, the boar barreled into his side, causing him to roll over. Dominion could see red particles escaping his side as he grabbed the injury with his hand. He needed to stand back up and make his way to the location with the utmost speed. He put both arms to either side of him and lifted his body up like a push-up. Dominion began to stand up and, when he saw that the boar had made his way off a couple feet before stopping, began to sprint to the designated location.

Dominion had begun to sprint in the direction where he intended to go. The boar seemed to want to cut him off, as it obviously was trying to cut Dominion off from the designated location. Dominion kept running forward, but leaned his upper body forward slightly so that he could strike the boar from the side while continuing to run. Dominion was now close enough to make a strike that would be effective and he did so. Striking out with his right fist, Dominion landed a punch directly to the boar's head, which made it barrel over and onto the ground. It remained there on the ground as Dominion continued to run to the location. He finally was reaching the perimeter of the area which Dominion planned to go to, and he crossed the invisible line. As he crossed, he began to slow down to a halt, and turned around.

Dominion had just turned around once he crossed an invisible line that he made in his head. This is the perfect place to make my last stand against this boar... Dominion thought to himself as he looked for the boar. He saw movement in the corner of his eye, where the boar was beginning to get back up. It stomped its hoof on the ground with sudden force, striking the tall grass beneath it. The boar began to charge toward Dominion with great speed, almost too fast for Dominion to keep up with. So, instead of attacking the boar out right, Dominion went into a defensive position. He made his fist in both hands, keeping his arms up and legs in a stance to support impact. Dominion waited briefly for the boar to charge him, and finally he shifted his body at the last second to land a fist into its side. The boar was shifted off target just enough to miss Dominion's leg.

Dominion was already preparing for an attack from behind, so he turned his body to face the new oncoming direction of the next charge. The boar actually didn't try to slow down, but kept on running away. Dominion thought he had finally lost his mind. Where could that boar be going? I am the boar's target. Is the boar trying to aggravate me? I can understand how that would be a good tactical move, but mobs shouldn't know things... I really don't know now. Dominion put his hand on his forehead as he continued to watch the running boar. Finally the boar began to slow down as if realizing that Dominion was not following him by any means. Dominion actually began to laugh, which was something he had never done in combat before. "You are the weirdest mob I have ever fought by far! I hope you explode peacefully." he called out to the boar.

Dominion said this and began to take a step forward. However, Dominion actually tripped with his leg caught in the tall grass. He braced his arms in front of his face as he fell onto the ground. He hit the ground with a sudden impact, but then he heard another thud on the ground in the distance. he looked up over the tall grass to see the boar to the ground again. Is he following what I did, falling onto the ground for no good reason? I tripped, so I definitely have a reason, whether good or bad is another story. I need to get back up and take advantage of the dormancy of the boar... Dominion began to stand up and walk over to the boar that lay in the tall grass. The boar had made quite the distance between them, but that was not a problem for Dominion since it still stayed in the invisible line that bordered the area.

Dominion finally approached the boar, both hands in tight fists with the intention to punch the boar in the side. As he leaned over slightly to strike the dormant boar, but was not expecting any reaction. As he punched the ground, Dominion barely missed the boar because the boar shifted its body to the side very quickly. Dominion moved back a step as the boar got back up, and tried to bite Dominion's arm. However, Dominion was able to recoil his arm in time to keep from being dealt more damage. Dominion took another step back putting his right arm up for another attack if the boar moved any further forward. Dominion was glancing to each side, as this terrain was truly good for combat. There was still not a single mob in sight as he faced toward the boar. Dominion leaned forward to make another strike against the boar.

Dominion planted his fist attack directly against the boar's jaw. It made a snapping noise, which made Dominion think that he had broken his hand, which he didn't think was possible in the game to begin with. Dominion landed a successful hit, and he did not break his fist. The jaw of the boar must have gotten the broken jaw, especially since a Critical Success came up above the boar's health bar. Dominion was happy that he had landed such a successful hit against the boar. He could tell the boar needed a second to recover from the attack, so he would have a bit of time to recover himself... except he didn't need to since his battle healing had already done it's job. Dominion took another step back from the boar, just out of the reach of the boar, but close enough to land a kick to the boar's head.

Dominion had just taken a step backward, getting out of reach from a bite attack but managing to kick the boar from a distance. Dominion kicked the boar in the head from a distance, managing to make it's health bar drop by a little. However, when Dominion looked at the health bar dropped from the kick, he could see the Critical Success sign pop up from above the health bar, and a large margin drop, making it the color red. Red particles dropped from the boar's face, a bruising look was displayed above one of it's eyes. Dominion put his leg down and took another step back. The boar made an attack at Dominion, but Dominion moved quickly to the side. The boar actually has a reason to be aggressive, so I can't get mad at the boar for making an attack against me right now. However, it only has a little more health.

Dominion totally changed fighting styles in the last few moments of the battle. He could see that the boar's health bar had dropped very low now, which was perfect. Dominion needed to change his style to an attacking/rampaging tantrum. The boar would most likely not be able to handle this, so Dominion moved forward a step instead of back another. He got his chance to strike the boar with his right fist, another Critical Success sign rising over the boar's health bar. Dominion slid to the other side, managing to dodge the boar yet another time. Dominion had to make quite the leap because of the speed at which the boar was now attacking, but it wasn't too difficult to keep up with while rampaging. Dominion did not yell, even when he was rampaging because he knew that he could not truly be angry at the boar for defending itself.

However, even while rampaging, Dominion could still get off balance. When he landed the leap, his right foot got caught in the tall grass, which threw him off balance. He fell to the left side because of the momentum in that direction that he created from the leap. Dominion tried to recover before the boar noticed his disadvantage. Dominion put both arms below his torso and pushed up, only needing a bit of momentum to raise his body into a standing position. His right leg was still caught in the tall grass, and unless he got out of it, he would be in a very bad situation. Dominion got halfway up before the boar came running by, just close enough to throw Dominion back off balance and into the tall grass. The good thing that could be taken from this charge was that it freed Dominion's right foot from the tall grass, giving Dominion more flexibility in the fight.
