(PP-F1) Holiday Training (With Sey) COMPLETE

Recommended Posts

Pixel followed the wave of Sey's hand and followed right behind Sey as they walked back to the safe zone and out of the fields. She sighed with relief when Sey told her not to put herself in debt to him, she just always did that sort of thing. She smiled again and hummed a little tune as they walked. She looked down at the cobblestone paved ground that they were walking on, and started trying to count the number of brown stones she could see, but gave up quickly and just continued humming. "Sey, is it weird that I sort of like being trapped in this game? The death thing bugs me a little, but this game is fun to play, and we never have stop." Pixel asked as she walked over to Sey's side and walked beside him. She looked down again and started counting stones while humming.

His shop was not too far from the safe zone, so it would not take too long for the both of them to arrive to the location that he was looking for. It was a small little modern restaurant with little to no customers, none today, which was perfect since that meant he could talk to Pixel alone. So he'd open up the shop with his keys before walking in, holding the door for her to walk through. "I can see why you might like it, but don't get too comfortable. We can't fall for the spider's trap and let ourselves stick in it. The game traps us from everything we value in the real world. As sad as that is to admit, it's the simple truth. We need to get out of here. That being said, we can always enjoy the path to the end. What would you like to eat?" Sey would ask as he would go behind the counter, where there was some fiber glass in between him and his counter, and the seats and the table in front of them.

Pixel followed him into the restaurant, while gazing around the place, "Do you serve waffles here? Those are my favorite." Pixel asked as she rubbed her belly. It growled again and she laughed a little bit. "Sorry 'bout that, my tummy just loves waffles, simply saying the word fires it up!" Pixel laughed as she pulled her skirt back up. She smiled at Sey and turned around to look for a seat. She found a small two-person booth and sat down. She looked out the window to see people walking back and forth. This place sort of reminded her of home, with those real restaurants she and her family used to eat at, most diners looked like this in particular. It got her a little homesick for a moment, but she pushed those feelings aside and just continued smiling. She didn't want to show weakness around Sey, or anyone for that matter.

"Coming right up! Just give me a few moments please." He'd tell her, looking over to the bowl and the stirring spoon he was going to have to use a lot to make the waffles. He himself was not too hungry, since he made himself breakfast in the morning. So it would only be Pixel that gets waffles. For a growing child around her age, he'll give her three. Hopefully she would not mind having that much. With this, he would begin to make the batter together once he applied the milk and the eggs to the powder mix, stirring in the meantime. "Are you okay over there? How's that hunger holding up?" The player would ask with concern in his tone as he would place the mixed batter into the waffle maker, though it would need a couple of minutes in order for the breakfast/dessert item to be made. And since there will be three of them, this will take a lot more time, three times the amount to be exact.

Pixel's stomach continued to growl at her and was becoming more noticeable. "Um, I think I'm fine with hunger! My tummy sure is vicious right now, like the boar that wanted to give you a hug earlier!" Pixel laughed to herself as she put her head on the table and started playing with the salt and pepper shakers. She shuffled them back and forth as if they were toys. She felt a little spoiled that Sey was doing all this for her, but she didn't mind much. Her parents spoiled her when she was a bit younger, so this was nothing new to her. She leaned over to one side and continued to look out the window. She missed her family, and this restaurant really reminded her of them, due to it's simplicity and resemblance to real life diners they would go to commonly. Tears came out of her eyes that she quickly wiped away.

"It definitely does seem that way. I'm almost done, I promise." He would announce before chuckling a little bit, moving over to the waffles and stacking them now in a small tower. With that, he would place a good amount of maple syrup on them before placing a fork and a knife onto the plate. "Order up!" Sey would declare as he moved the plate over to her table, placing it down there before then sliding it right in front of her. It was a nice-looking meal in his opinion, one of the better ones for sure. It was not necessarily his best, but tied with the other best ones. "Tell me what you think. And be honest with me. I'm trying to make this run real well in the future you know." The snow-haired player would explain as he would sit down in front of her, placing his hands on his lap and waiting with a smile, seeing how she would react to the small little pile of waffles that he had made for her. If he wanted to improve, he needed comments. Or perhaps it was really good.

Pixel looked at the small stack of waffles in front of her for second, "This a lot more than I expected, thank you Sey." Pixel thanked as she picked up the fork and knife and began to cut the pieces of the waffles into eighths so she could eat them easier. She picked one of them up with her fork and put it in her mouth. She chewed and swallowed the piece and smiled. "This is pretty good! It tastes like the waffles I had at a diner with my family that was almost exactly like this, which were just amazing..." Pixel said in response to the waffles. A few more tears came out of her eyes again, which she quickly wiped away. She continued eating the waffle pieces and was eating about a piece every five seconds. She had been almost starving up to this moment. She really enjoyed the waffles and gave a thumbs-up to Sey just a reminder.

"Hey, you're a growing child. Eat as much as you like." He would offer her with a small smile, leaning back against his chair and crossing his arms with a confident manner. She was a very well-mannered child, and though perhaps a bit too innocent for her own good, he was willing to help her out with that trait. But she would need some better clothes and equipment. "I'm glad you like them! Seems like I'm getting better in my crafts. Would you like me to get your some milk?" The snow-haired player would offer, only for his mouth to be formed in the shape of an "o" when he noticed she was a little bit teary, but she did not want to show it. Pretending like he had not seen what she had done, he would slide over the napkin box to her. "Here, you might need this. Again, take as many as you like, they are not too hard to replace at all. You're my esteemed guest, so treat yourself as much as you like."

Pixel grabbed one of the napkins and wiped her face a little bit and looked up at Sey with a smile. "Yes, I would love that very much, and you don't have to call me child, I'm 14 years old. Thank you so much for the waffles Sey. I know you don't want me to, but I'll find some way to return the favor someday." Pixel said calmly, trying to hold back her tears from her homesickness. It was a little hard to hold them back, since she really missed her parents. She already had wolfed down the first two waffles and was almost done with her third waffle. She got some syrup on her lap, but she didn't pay much attention to it. Her skirt had slid down to her legs and fell off because of this, but she hadn't even noticed. "Man, these are really good Sey! I love them, but I'm starting to get a little full." Pixel complimented as she started to slow down on her eating.

Well, his father always taught him that he was a child until he was legal. That was just how he saw the younger people. Sey could not help but inherit his father's roots, and he was very much proud of that. "I really don't expect that of you. That's not what I want to pass down to someone who is your age. This is just simply what friends do, is it not?" He'd ask. Of course, it was more like him taking care of her, but that was still what friends did, they looked out for each other. On the streets, gangs helped each other with survival. In the game, friends helped each other with leveling up and growing stronger. "Thanks! I'm glad you like them! Just tell me when you are full, and I'll take the plate and carry it away for ya. After all, it's not too often where a frontliner can get a good meal like this. All the training and fighting they would have to do, that is an extremely hard task at the end of the day."

Pixel smiled and patted her belly softly as her top began to fall off, "I think I'm already full actually! I enjoyed the meal very much though. I guess being treated to a meal like this is rare, but when you say that we are looking out for each other, I feel like it's more that you're just looking after me though, this is why I want to return the favor to you, because I want it to be both ways, not just you helping me." Pixel explained as she sat back and closed her eyes for a little bit. She thought about everything that had happened today. Sey sure was a nice person now that she thought about it. "Thank you again for the meal, do you think we're ready to go out and kill one or two more boars?" Pixel asked Sey, she was a little eager to do some more combat, since her energy was fully restored, and Sey should have a good amount of energy now.

"Wellll, if you want to really make it up to me, perhaps you can put your top back, it looks like it is abut to be misplaced again." He'd warn while tilting his head to the side. The more that he saw that, the more he really wanted her to get the col so that she could get some good clothes, ones that fit her if he was able to get that much, it didn't have to be fashionable as long as it covered her body. "Yeah, let's handle a few more. I don't mind taking them all on, this is an easy task. My energy restored a long time ago anyways, so we should be good now that you're running on a full stomach. Let's get out of here." He would announce before standing up from the table, taking her plate of food before placing it in the sink for him to wash later on. It was the only one there fortunately, so he only had about a minute of work to do before he started cooking again. He'd make his way over to the door, opening it for Pixel to walk through once again.

Pixel blushed as she lifted her top back up. She felt embarrassed that this stuff happened like this around him. She stood up to get out of the booth, but tripped on her skirt which was down at her legs. She landed on her belly and her butt was exposed. She got up and pulled her skirt up in embarrassment. "Why do these things keep happening to me? Can I get some new clothes before we go out there?" Pixel asked with a few stutters in between. Her cheeks were as red as tomatoes at the moment. She finally understood what Sey meant now about being seen. "I'm so sorry about that! I didn't know my skirt fell I swear!" Pixel apologized, she didn't want Sey to hate her for all this. She then took a deep breath and calmed down, it could have been worse.

He was a collected player, and he unfortunately has seen this sort of thing with other ladies back in the past, and none of them even was his own fault. But if he could prevent something, he could. So he'd close his eyes and cross his arms. "I didn't now either, so we're good. Just put it back up, and let's see if we can find you some clothes. But if you want clothes with enhancements, you need to speak to a Tailor. I think that would be best. If not, I could just let you borrow my armor for this next fight we are going to enter once we leave." Patience was an element that the snow-haired player was able to exercise. Pixel was a good girl with a bit of bad luck, it tends to happen, though probably not to this point. The armor was still something that she could use, only for this fight at least. "If you endure the armor at least once more, after the fights, you can go to a Tailor and get some really good items, you know."

Pixel considered this for a moment. The armor was fine, but her current "clothes" would block just as much damage from the boars. She wanted to show that she could be enduring enough to Sey, so she had to stick with her outfit. "I-I'll do just fine with these, I'll speak to a tailor later about getting new clothes after these next boars. These clothes aren't as heavy anyway. They block damage just as your armor would. I'll only take 1 HP of damage per hit." Pixel explained. She tried to sound reasonable and confident as she spoke. She smiled again at Sey and opened the door for him to exit. She wanted to prove that she was strong to everyone no matter what, and she had to prove herself to Sey. "If only I hadn't lost my starting gear. Then I wouldn't be having this issue. Let's go!" Pixel exclaimed cheerfully.

She was holding the door, but he would just place his hand on it. It was supposed to be the gentleman who held the door open for the lady, and that was just a general rule of thumb to even strangers. "Only if you say so, but the instant something goes wrong, you are going to be wearing the armor." And with that, he would begin to proceed moving to the border of the safe zone, where they could lose their health bars all over again if they were to take damage. But with battlehealing, first aid, and a bit of mitigation, neither of them were going to take too much damage from the enemy. With a smile on his face, he would summon the spear back into his right hand, and his left hand was left loose with nothing inside of it. "Let's show some of the boars what it's like to be a player. And by the end of this, you should be set with enough col to get a really dope weapon and clothing."

Pixel opened her inventory and summoned her sword to her right hand. She closed the door behind her and ran up to Sey who was walking to the fields. She ran up to his side and tied the knot on her top just a little more just to be safe. "I can't wait to kill these boars and finally ditch these exposing clothes! They're just awful! Imagine if you had to wear something like this!" Pixel said as they left the borders of the safe zone and went into the vast fields of boars. Pixel looked up at Sey, which annoyed her a little that she was much shorter than him. "Sey, do you see any boar you would like to go for first? Or should we just find another lone one in the field." Pixel asked as she looked outward into the everlasting field of boars.

"I don't think I would like to do that." He would mutter to himself, keeping his mind blank so that anything that tried to pop up on his mind would only be a blur. After a few seconds of recovering, he would end up placing his spear up once again, shaking his head from side to side before then launching  forward towards a boar, seeing if it would react or not. Naturally, it would just turn around to face him and Pixel. "Seems like I already found one. We should be able to handle it, it seems no different from the last. You can make the first strike again, I'll be attacking next." Just like last time, and there was absolutely no difference at all. Well, he did have the Memorilia Armor on this time, but that was about all that he could think of. In case the enemy tried to attack, he would prepare himself to defend from the attacker. But he felt it was probably not going to happen anytime soon, these were first floor monsters. They attack when provoked.

Pixel nodded at Sey. "I'll get 'em Sey! Just watch me go!" and ran at the boar quickly, with her skirt fluttering behind her. She jumped up and swung at the boar from above. The boar moved out of the way Pixel missed her attack. "Darn it! Why does this have to keep happening!?" Pixel shouted in anger as she kicked the ground. The boar hadn't even noticed her yet, it just resumed grazing the fields as if nothing happened. Pixel hadn't provoked the beast in any way on it's standards. Pixel kicked the ground in frustration as her energy went from 4 to 2, then it regenerated to 3. "Sey, we may have picked the wrong boar, or that one we killed earlier told all of them how to dodge." Pixel said jokingly as the boar continued to mind it's own business and sniff the ground.

"Hey, you tried! Now it's my turn! I'll b riiiiight back!" Blurring with the air, he would sprint this time before moving up close to the boar, slicing through it with the nasty furious spike sword art, launching the boar into the air once again before he placed his left hand on his forehead, looking up at the boar in the air. "Looks like I knocked it out of the park. You're up Pixel!" Sey would announce, walking back to see what would happen now. They started off on a decent foot, while it was not the best one, it was not a bad one. The leverage was on their side. "Keep calm when you attack, strike when you see an opening. These boars fight sloppy at first, so that won't be so hard for you to do. Just make sure that you know that when you do, you have to cover up any area they could exploit to attack you in return. Sometimes, you both might even hit each other at the same time." Advice he never got, but wished he did.
