(PP-F1) Holiday Training (With Sey) COMPLETE

Pixel smiled and laughed a little bit as she watched the boar flying into the air. A boar flying into the air, she never thought she'd think of that, much less see it. She ran up to where she thought it would land. She brought her sword to her side at an angle and got ready to hit it. The boar was nosediving towards Pixel, who was standing right in it's path. She was ready to slash the boar the moment it was close enough. The boar came down to about three feet above her when she jumped up and slashed at it, while being headbutted in the back by the boar in the process. She had only had taken 1 HP of damage from the boar but had dealt 2 damage to the boar. She wanted to use her sword art, but she needed four energy to perform it. "All right Sey, your turn!"

"I don't usually deal well with those who have hurt young ones like that so easily, so i'm going to have to teach this boar another lesson! Play ball!" Sey would exclaim, clenching his teeth now as his purple eyes would glow a bit, his feet pacing against the grass as he would move from side to side. It was an NPC, it was designed to kill players. That was how it went, regardless of age. Now despite this, it did hurt a human child, which emotionally hurt him as well. So as a result, he felt the need to get revenge for her, despite how happy she seemed about her successful strike. Sure, he told her that sometimes they would both get hit. But there was nothing to prepare him seeing her take damage. So with this, he would slam the tip of the blade to the forehead of the monster, flinging it into the air once again as it would be rolling in the process, showing that the damage was stacking. "Sorry, but I can't let the boars do that. Think you can continue Pixel?"

Pixel looked over at Sey and smiled at his concern. "I'm fine! It just stung for a second!" Pixel shouted out to Sey as she got ready to strike the boar again. She began to get a running start to jump and make sure she had no chance of being hit by the boar. She still found it funny how the boar was falling the way it was, rolling around in the air. As it came down, she jumped in the air and tried to slash it again. She missed and the boar continued falling without attacking anything. Pixel almost face planted on the ground, but she stuck her hands forwards and did a roll once she touched the ground. She got a little bit of dirt on her from the roll, but it was better than face planting on the field. "Sorry 'bout that! I thought I had him for sure!" Pixel apologized as she faced say and waved to let him know she was okay.

"You were close! You'll soon be able to hit it! Just keep trying!" The snow-haired player would declare before looking forward towards the boar, as it was still trying to aim and kill him thanks to the amount of high hate he was able to produce from the hits. But to no avail, and he would take the chance to return the favor. Spamming the same move over and over seemed to be doing the trick, which in any other MMO would have never worked. But this was the one that mattered, and he was able to use Furious spike all he liked. In doing so, he would once again reduce the health bar of the boar from the unfortunate yellow bar that it had to the even worse red one as it would be rolling on the ground after the pierce with his spike. Sey jumped back before looking over to Pixel. "We sent the boar to the red zone, it will only be a matter of time before we hit it and take some more loot for us."

Pixel found it funny that the boar just couldn't do anything. She ran at it again and held her sword to her side. She didn't need to jump because it was not in the air this time, but her side slash always seemed to hit better. She ran at the boar and slashed at it, but missed and fell over after running past the boar. Her run and slash strategy was starting to let her down. The boar got up and began to charge at Sey, ignoring the easily vulnerable Pixel. Pixel sighed with annoyance as the boar continued charging at Sey. It managed to hit and got a full critical hit on Sey upon headbutting him in the stomach, adding 2 more damage to the attack. It did not matter at all though as the armor's mitigation nullified most of the damage and the 1 damage that Sey actually took was automatically healed. "Man, my luck is really running out today! It's your turn now Sey!"

"It's fine Pixel, you did your best! Leave it all up to me now!" Sey would declare before then looking at the enemy one more time. It seemed to be near death, maybe he was bale to get it down to the final wire if he aimed for a good spot. Rushing towards it again, it would aim to hit him as well. As a result, it slammed into his stomach, inflicting critical damage that ended up getting mitigated and healed by his battlehealing, so that was far too easy for him to endure. It was far too close for safety however, as Sey would pierce through the head of the enemy once again. And so the same result would occur, the monster shattering into nothing but pieces of data. "And that is how it's done! You should have some more col in your inventory now, which if you go to the right shop, should be able to buy you at least two items total. What do you think so far about this?" And so the profit was rolling in quickly.

Pixel was surprised to see how much Col she had gotten in this one day. She did the math, and figured out the she now had 1835 Col now. "How much would 1835 Col be able to buy for me? That's what I have now." Pixel asked as she walked over to where Sey was standing. She looked up at him and smiled. "Thank you for all your help Sey. I think I have enough Col actually. I think we can go back to a shop and get some stuff. Let's go!" Pixel said as she grabbed Sey's hand and began to pull him to the safe zone, before tripping since he was a lot heavier than she was not strong enough to pull him. She stood up and rubbed her leg in slight pain. "Okay, that was a bad idea. Let's just walk. Do you know any good shops?" Pixel asked as she tilted her head to one side.

"I think that should be able to give you about two or three good pieces of clothing, well, perfect ones to be exact." He would explain to her before placing his hands in his pockets, relaxing as he smiled a little bit. It was definitely something she could use, and he needed to make sure she did not end up with what she had ever again. She'd sudden pull him by the hand, and despite her being way younger than him, she had a surprisingly strong grip and pulled him along, only for her to slow her role and stop all of a sudden. "Good idea, you probably should take it easy. As for any good shops, we should probably go over to a friend of mine. Not quite sure how much he charges, but he will provide you some perfect clothes with enhancements. In the meantime though, let's just get you some different clothes, some that at least fit you. They won't give you any enhancements, but they will fit you at least."

Pixel nodded at Sey, "Yes, I can't wait to get out of these. They itch, they are really exposing, and they don't keep you warm at all! Plus, they constantly fall off! The only positive is that they have the +1 mitigation." Pixel ranted as she walked back into the safe zone. She then brought a smile back to her face and started humming the Cowboy Bebop ending theme and quietly singing the lyrics. It was now evening and there were less people out and about. She began to kick a small rock in front of her and pulled her skirt back up. "Hey Sey, what would be the best place to find some nice-looking clothes? I know nothing about this town other than the fact that it's a maze." Pixel asked as she looked around confusingly and continued humming.

"Well, that small stat doesn't really make up for what it comes with. So we'll definitely get you into a different outfit once we find a shop." Sey would explain before he would look over towards the ground, thinking about what he had to do in a few hours. There were two orders on hold, and he had to fix that real soon. But for now, he can just overlook his duties, he did have enough materials and col as it is, so there is that plus working for him. "Well all NPC shops sell about the same things, depending on the type, like Tailor for example is what you are looking for. When it comes to players, I believe that is up to you. I can't make that choice for you." Sey would explain before walking into the safe zone in a calm and collected manner, looking a little bit to the right to see an NPC Tailor shop. "As long as there are no enhancements, I don't think they would mind letting you have an item or two."

Pixel walked over to the NPC Tailor shop that Sey had been nodding to and looked at the various clothing on display. She scratched her head and thought for a moment on what to get. The NPC clerk at the stand didn't seem to care how long it took Pixel to choose. She eventually pointed at one outfit and a pop-up appeared in front of her. She pressed the accept button and did a little jump out of joy. She ran over to Sey and did another small hop. "I think I found the perfect one! Now I can take these awful things off!" Pixel said with joy as she took off her leopard clothes and hugged Sey again. "Thank you so much for your help!" She didn't care if she was butt naked at that moment, she was just so happy and thankful right now. She stepped back from Sey and did a little spin. She opened her inventory and equipped her new outfit. It was a purple and white yukata with a white belt. "Well, what do you think?" Pixel asked Sey as she turned around a few times to let him see the whole outfit.

A shameless child indeed, she chose her outfit and would look at it. And while there was most likely a fitting room around for them to try out, she decided that it was a better idea to take off the clothes and give him a hug. He was taken far too aback for him to actually do anything, it was rather awkward and uncomfortable for him. Sure, she meant well, but there was probably a different way that this could have been done. Nothing felt greater than the feeling of her letting go. Only until she put on the clothes, which was then the greatest feeling ever. Not only because she was no longer letting such a sight to the public, but because she was clothed with such good clothing. "It looks great on ya, Pixel. Now come on, let's get out of here. I assume there is nothing else you would like to get done perhaps? Would you like some more Col and fight more boars? Anything else? Or are you too tired?"

Pixel shrugged her shoulders without a clue. She thought about it for a little bit. He had already helped her plenty. "Um, I am getting a little tired actually and was planning on getting a little bit of rest for tomorrow. Maybe tomorrow could you take me to that tailor friend of yours tomorrow? Also, can you come with me to where I sleep? I am a little afraid of the dark and the possibility that something could happen." Pixel asked. She had been through a big day. She still owed a lot to Sey, but she figured she could pay him back someday. She was glad that Sey liked her yukata. "Also, I got this yukata because of the purple resembling my hair, and the white resembling yours! Since you helped me with everything today, I thought that this would be fitting." Pixel explained to Sey.

"Well I can show you where they are, but I think you should go to speak to them yourself when you do it. I can't be there forever, but I know you can do it." Sey would explain before looking over towards where the street was, opening the door before letting himself out onto the town square once again. Pixel would then ask him if he could go to where she slept. And as much as that was a bad idea, she was just a child, it was not like much can happen to him in a safe zone anyways. Still though, he should probably ask a question or two, just to be absolutely safe. "Well, where do you sleep? I'll gladly take you over there if I know where it even is in the first place" The player would explain before then looking at what she had chosen to wear while she explained what it meant. It was an adorable little message, and he chuckled in a humbled manner about why she chose what she did. "that's very sweet of you, and it looks great on you too."

When Sey asked where Pixel slept, she sort of stayed quiet for a moment, but smiled when he complimented her. "The thing is, I don't really sleep in a building or anything. I just sleep in this one tucked away alley that's actually somewhat nearby. By the way, I'm not gonna mug you or anything, I just get a little scared when I go alone. I hope you understand Sey, I won't do anything to you, I promise." Pixel explained. "But if you don't want to, you don't have to. I was just asking." she added on to her explanation. She took a deep breath and smiled. "Thank you for helping me out today Sey. I really couldn't have done any of this without you. Someday, I'll be as strong as you and be able to return the favor for all the things you've done for me." Pixel said as she bowed to him briefly. She looked back up at him and smiled.

If there was really nowhere for her to go, he would instantly shake his head from the explanation she gave. The last thing he could do was give her some place to go. And Itzal did this for him when he had no place to go, and he was not even a child. So Sey took pity on the child, placing his hand in hers. "Sorry, but no. That is not going to work. I have a room in my shop, though it only has one bed. I'll leave you there while I sleep on the lounge couch. And don't you dare think I'll take no for an answer, but you are not going to be sleeping in the middle of an alleyway." He'd declare with a smile before looking down to her, awaiting a reply. With her hand held gently, he would tug her forward so that they could move towards the direction of his shop. It was not too far away, and while he would be used his backup bed and blanket, it was a nice feeling knowing he could help her out once more. Not that his shop was a hotel, but in a way, this was kind of like paying Itzal back.

Pixel was surprised that Sey was about to allow her to sleep in his shop. She was glad that Sey was letting her do this sure, but now she felt even more guilty in a way. "You would really let me do that? You're not going to sleep PK me or anything? Alright then, I guess I'll go. That dingy alleyway wasn't too good anyway. I feel a little bit over helped though. You don't have to do all this for me you know. I'm 14 and can manage myself enough." Pixel said bluntly. She was a little skeptical, but she trusted Sey. It was safer to be with him than in the alleyway. Pixel began to walk along with Sey after he tugged her hand in the direction of his shop. Sey reminded her of her big brother Inigo, who had gotten the game as well. She never did find him anywhere though. Sey wasn't her brother, but he was starting to treat her like she was his little sister in a way. She smiled at the thought of that. "Sey, you remind me of my big brother Inigo. I thought I'd just throw that in there." Pixel said as they walked to his shop.

Sleep PK her? That was an awful thing to do, but he could understand why she thought he might do that. But of course, he had no intentions. If not to help her, at least to repay a debt he owed to someone. "It's not that I don't think you can handle it, but why bother? You don't need to, not while I can help ya out. Just a few rules, no leaving until morning time, and and no waking me up while I sleep, all right? Feel free to midnight snack though." Sey would explain with a smile before he and Pixel would arrive to a shop, a smile on his face as he looked inside. Still no one, which was fine by him. The shop was closed for the day now. So he would open up the door with his keys before opening up the door. Once the both of them get in, he'd lock the door so that no one and nothing can get in. Pixel would tell him that he reminded her of an older brother figure named Inigo. He'd laugh a little before responding. "He must have been a very caring brother. All right, behind the counter will be a small wooden door. It looks like a pantry door, but it's actually my room. You'll find my bed there, though there is not much else I'm afraid. Hopefully you don't mind."

Pixel was happy that Sey was doing this for her. She took all her clothes off, took the headband off of her head, and covered herself with a blanket quickly. She turned and smiled at Sey. "Thank you Sey. I'm really glad you took me in like this. I still want to repay you. Maybe when I'm as strong as you, I could help someone in my position." Pixel said to Sey as she got in the bed and laid down. She was a little paranoid that something might happen to her, but she tried to dismiss those thoughts. Sey was a good person and she always wanted to believe that. "Umm, Sey. While I'm sleeping, please don't kill me. It's just a little paranoia I have when I'm playing a VR game online. It happens a lot, I just have to ask to reassure myself. Good night Sey." Pixel said as she laid down and closed her eyes.

Just seeing her smile was something that assured him that he was doing the right thing, as she would put herself to bed, though in quite the manner that was not so appropriate in public, and a little unusual when sleeping. Still however, he could always just wash his sheets in case he ever wanted to sleep on there again, though now it belonged to Pixel. "I'm glad to hear it. Just don't obligate yourself to paying me back. If you really want to make me happy, when you grow up to be a little stronger, you will do just that, help the new players."  He would explain happily before then tilting his head to the other explanation that she would give to him. Reminding him once again not to kill her while she was asleep though then telling him it was just to make herself feel better, and that he did not need to worry. He'd chuckle a little bit before then turning off the light. "Nighty night, see you tomorrow morning."  And so he would close the door to let her sleep. Well, back to the kitchen for him, he needed to prepare some meals for the sake of his customers now before he could go to sleep. All the cooking should help him sleep.
