(SP-F1) Loot Training

Recommended Posts

Pixel had been hanging around Floor 1 in Aincrad for a while now. She wanted to move on to the next floor, but she lacked the gear to do so. She was trying to save her Col for when she really needed it, so she had to rely on monster drops to get her stuff. She had been only focusing on Col from monsters for a while now and wanted to get some gear. She was sitting on the bench near town square in front of the fountain debating with herself on what she would do now. "I should get some good training out this if I go out there and kill a bunch of mobs. Yeah, with my Charge skill, I should be able to one-hit kill these mobs." Pixel said to herself as she got up from her seat on the bench and made her way to the grass fields outside the safe zone. The sun was shining, so it would be easy to perform her training.

Pixel reached just near the edge of the safe zone. She opened her inventory and equipped her leopard outfit, since it had the +1 mitigation. She was hoping to get some better gear than the skimpy outfit she had, it was a little embarrassing to wear. She then summoned her iron 1 handed curved sword to her right hand, which she also had hoped to replace. She closed her inventory and took a deep breath. She was going out alone this time, which she hadn't done in a while, but she would still do it never the less. She had to learn to train alone and not always have someone by her side. She scanned the field of boars, trying to determine which one would be the best boar to start with. She saw one alone and nodded, "I'll start with that one." Pixel said to herself.

Pixel watched as the boar grazed the grass. The boars almost never start combat, only when you attack them will they come at you. Pixel readied her sword and ran at the boar quickly while it was turned away from her. The boar had 4 HP, which was normal for this floor, and made for an easy kill. All she had to do was hit a boar once with her Charge skill. The boar sniffing a flower most likely, but Pixel couldn't tell from where she was. She was ready to use her skill, but she wanted to see how much damage she could do on her own without using the skill. Unluckily as always though, Pixel ended up missing with the attack and angering the boar. It ran at her, but ran right past instead and completely missed Pixel.
