About: History/personality

Aris was born in Greece to a a pair of archaeologists. At the time the two were exploring the ruins in Greece, more specifically, a temple to the greek god Ares. Like the archaeologists that they were, they named their daughter after the god of war, albeit, using an alternate spelling that made more sense as a female name. It was an impulsive decision more than anything, but one that defined their young daughter more than they realized at the time. As she grew up she was brought with her parents all over the world, learning multiple languages and all sorts of stuff about history and mythology. It was probably just as well that she moved around a lot as well, seeing as she tended to get kicked out of school for starting fights, which she always won. The faculty of the schools seemed to think that she went a bit too far when fighting, going the extra mile to dominate her opponent through excessive violence. Her victories were more than partially attributed to her gift for strategy and her quick wits, as well as her lack of boundaries when it came to using the environment to her advantage. All's fair in war, unlike love. 

Despite sometimes going very far to establish her dominance, Aris doesn't have evil or sinister intentions. Rather, she simply enjoys fast paced action packed fights, especially when the odds are against her. She has an innate desire to conquer which drives her in most of her decisions. On yet another trip with her parents to Japan, to explore some ancient ruins, she decided to try out SAO, having never played a virtual reality game before. When she was trapped she wasn't distressed in the slightest. This was just another world for her to conquer. 

Virtues:

Strategic: Aris has a very strategic mind, complimented by her quick wits and intelligence. Aris has studied war tactics and psychology, as well as mastering the game of chess. She is very good at putting together teams and coming up with plans and strategies.

Quick Witted: Aris is very intelligent and able to think quickly. She is able to analyze information quickly and make the correct decision from it in a timely manner. Even when she has to make a big decision and is torn between it she usually chooses quickly, understanding that the options arent going to get better the longer she waits in most situations.

Bold: Aris is brave and unafraid to state her beliefs. She isn't easy to hurt or knock off balance emotionally either. She doesnt much care how others judge her, but also isn't afraid to fight for her honor.

Dominance: In a way this is one of her virtues, but her desire to conquer and dominate can lead her to go too far. Although it hasn't happened yet, she might someday accieentally kill someone. She doesnt understand the meaning of the word restraint.

Violent: Aris fights and she doesnt much care who or what. She lives to enhance her knowledge of war and one on one fighting strategies, as well as her knowledge of ancient history. She'll fight anyone who she thinks she can win against.

Ignorant: Aris is ignorant of ways to solve situations without violence. She isn't one for negotiating or peace, she tends to go straight to the fighting and figure things out from there. Sometimes violence isnt the answer, but she is completely ignorant of diplomatic solutions.
