Takeshi 0 Posted January 22, 2017 #1 Share Posted January 22, 2017 (edited) Name: Takeshi Age: 21 Gender: Male Level: 5 HP: 100/100 Energy: 10/10 SP: 11 COL: 340 Materials: 3 Skills: Heavy Armor (Rank 1, +3 MIT), One Handed Straight Sword (Rank 1, +1 DMG) DMG: 3 Mitigation: 30 Sword Art Rank: 1 HISTORY Spoiler Born half-Japanese, Aleister Hawkwood had a comfortable life, having a taste for video games, medieval subjects, and alchemy. He befriended a Japanese delinquent known as Riki, who often protected him from anyone who would try to insult or attack him with racial motives. The two remain close to each other, sharing each other's hobbies and underwent their own combat training out of pleasure. Near the end of their high school years, Riki and Hawkwood was involved in a shootout initiated by the former's rivals. Although Hawkwood managed to kill some of the gang members, he became distraught at the sight of his injured friend, who told him a location to a hideout that must be destroyed immediately. However, instead of doing so, Hawkwood decided to continue his friend's 'legacy' after discovering tons of money and illegal firearms stashed in the hideout. Slowly, his character shifted from a physically weak and friendly person to a ruthless, strong and violent leader of his friend's gang. He uses his chemistry knowledge as best as he can to produce chemical weapons, and these were sometimes used in his own gang wars. Throughout this phase, he kept his second life as a secret from his two, pure Japanese sisters. This all changed, however, when one of the last opposing gangs manage to locate where Hawkwood lived and held a ransom for his captured sisters. Greatly angered by this, he went into a blind rage against the members, but at the close cost of one of his sisters, which was injured when she was used as a human shield. Grieved by guilt, he stopped his usual criminal activities altogether to make sure that his sisters will never be involved in his second life, and using the money he had, flew to and live in Japan. Now legally named as Takeshi, he held a job that lasted only a year before moving on to live as a hikikomori. Another year later, SAO was announced and released worldwide. Seeing it as an alternate reality to escape to, Takeshi purchased it on the third day after doing some research and delve himself into Aincrad, a new world which he soon learned to enjoy living in. VIRTUES Spoiler Empathy: Throughout his friendship with Riki, Takeshi always understood, or at least tried to interpret, various feelings harbored by his friend. He usually noted Riki's expressions, tone of voice or even the way he looks at him. His empathy does not only apply to his dear friend, other players would be silently judged by him too. It is his idea to do so to every person he meets, because to him, misjudging one's feelings will leave him awkward depending on the related circumstances. Calmness: Despite his stoic expression, he always remains calm and composed on the inside, never to blindly rush through things like he did during his last assault. He is smart enough to know that panic only causes a bigger chance for bad luck to strike him. If he is angry, it would quickly fade away once a threat he is facing no longer exists. Vicious Fighter: Gaining combat experience from his personal confrontations and gang wars, Takeshi grew to be a walking tank as he became more stronger to brutally mash his opponents with his bare hands and withstanding several physical, blunt attacks. He was extremely careful when facing someone with guns or bladed weapons, and prioritize in disarming them first if there is a chance to do so. Despite his proficiency in firearms and melee weapons, he always favor swords, possessing a wakizashi in his room at one point. FLAWS Spoiler No Mercy: Except in honorable fights, Takeshi shows no mercy to his opponents, no matter how much they beg him to spare them. In his philosophy, an enemy does not deserve to live, and its existence must be eliminated immediately. He goes as far as to pursue retreating opponents in order to finish them off. If they happen to hide, he will wait, and keep on doing so until they are in his sights again. Stoic Expression: Takeshi isn't very expressive to acquaintances or enemies. Even though he has a sense of empathy, he himself shows almost no signs of what he is truly feeling or thinks of somebody. His voice is also monotone, and it is especially a red flag to opponents or friends if he calmly speaks like this when he is visibly upset or angry. Reclusive: Reclusion was common whenever he was in his turf or any sort of lodging places like hotels. In his family home, he was sociable to his sisters as he is very fond of them. This makes people harder to keep in contact with him, especially if they need his assistance or simply want to talk to him.
