[PP-F4] By the light of the moon [Guild Thread - Initiation]

"Back again," Hydra mumbled happily to himself, as he entered the vicinity of the fourth floor. Normally the brunette would head straight to 'Frostbite Lake' at this point, to stargaze at the night sky, only there was a more pressing issue at hand. A few days ago Hydra had obtained some valuable information from information brokers, that a great creature depicted as a 'white bat' had suddenly spawned into the fourth floor. The rumors supposedly contained a list of all the information on the creature, which Hydra had gone over time and time again since that point. "Apparently it offers no extra rewards... Still." With most of the front liners busy, it left a vacuum of players to deal with these field monsters, especially on the earlier floor. Since finding out about the creature, Hydra had sent out a request for assistance to all corners of sword-art online, including the higher level floors. Hydra could not predict how many or even who would show. He just hoped someone did.

The adventurer was also aware this may attract the attention of some lower leveled players. Hydra would make sure to warn them of the dangers this field boss possessed, if they still wished to fight then he would do what he could to protect them. As he made his way through the forests of the fourth floor and up to the spawning site he began to read through the rumors he had noted down once more. "The ability to fly, the ability to drain health, the ability to evade..." The list went on, It certainly sounded like it was going to be quite the fight. Sighing slightly he paused and rested his back against a tree. "Can I really do this?" That was a question which had been on his mind for some time now, alongside a feeling of unease. "No second thoughts now, it's too late to turn back." He growled slightly in frustration.

After a little while of walking he eventually reached the spawning site. Emerging from the forest Hydra took a moment to catch his breath and then glanced around, as usual the area was beautiful. Fields of white stretched out as far as the eye could see, above it all the moon shone as brightly as ever. The actual location was at one of the highest places on the floor, which was possibly the only thing which didn't bode to well for Hydra. Well that and there was something else a little concerning. "Seems the rumors were true then." Four rather large ice pillars stood parallel to one another. "I should wait for the others to arrive first." Hydra thought, remaining slightly under the cover of the forest.

Frostbite lake. Despite the, almost intimidating name, Katherine, or, Eatos, wouldn’t deny it was stunningly beautiful. The girl never left the first floor, and for a good reason, she was low levelled and at risk of monsters. But, when she heard about a lake the shimmered in the winter weather, she hoped it was worth the risk. And now, before her eyes, it had been. The girl sat on the grass watching out over the slowly rippling water, she allowed her mind to roam. She loved places like this lake, she was alone it was peaceful. What more could a person ask for?

‘Well, not to be trapped in a death game for starters’ she reminded herself ‘Then again, if I wasn’t, I couldn’t see this lake’. It wasn’t like her life back home, but, it was a start. The lake, the view and the beautiful coldish weather had made the girl nearly fall in love with the 4th floor, even if her combat level suggested she stay on the first for many levels to come. She knew, if she become stronger, she’d love to stay on this floor. When she became stronger. She knew she’d level up slowly with how she was doing it, slow, tedious almost, but she do it. She didn’t have many people to do it with. She’d made two, three, friends, but, she knew that friends weren’t always reliable when you’re doing quests below your station. She pondered her options as she sat at the late, admiring its innate beauty.

Of course, she hadn’t heard about the rumoured monster on the 4th floor. If she had, she’d never of come that night. So she sat there, at the side of the lake, and hummed to herself as she enjoyed the scenery around her.

So..... My.... boss fight will be with a large bat

Sky shuddered, he didn't like bats much. In his home town, at night you could hear the swarm of them flying over the houses, if your lucky you won't have any bugging you by their constant noise, but he was rarely that lucky.

Why am i DOING THIS

Sky mentally said as he beat himself up, walking towards where the info he had gotten had told him to go. It was a high place on floor 4, and he was pretty worried. This was his first time venturing up a floor, EVER!!! And he was still LEVEL ONE!!! And about to fight a FLOOR BOSS!!! He started thinking this... might not be the best idea, though before he could back out, he exited the forest, seeing four pillars parralel. He gulped, guessing this was it. He looked around, trying to see if anyone else was here, noticing someone.... just underneath he cover of the forest. He hoped that this guy wasn't a pk'er....
