What kind of a deal was that, anyway? Clutching at his distended stomach with both paws, the cub turned his head in the woman's direction just in time to see her whoosh out of sight. Well, she wasn't going to get away that easily. After all, someone had to carry him. With a series of snuffling grunts, the grizzly cub rolled over to the hole in the ground and then tumbled out of sight down the mudslide. Faster and faster the cub zipped along until, with a colossal splat he thunked down into the mud flat on his back next to Anemone before repeating the paws up carry me gesture with an imploring face. Mack wandered over to the hole that had appeared in the ground and was on the verge of shouting down to ask the newest member of the Knights of the Blood Oath if she was alright when the white haired woman called up that she was fine. "Here I come," the axe man called in a booming voice before taking a slight hop and plunging down the hole. Within a few seconds the ginger man emerged and landed in a couch and a spray of mud in all directions just as a foursome of goblins waving spears entered the cavern. With a growl, the Vice Commander charged towards the creatures and, completely ignoring their weapons as they impaled him, proceeded to lay waste to the mottled creatures. Anemone 0 Posted April 4, 2017 Author #42 Share Posted April 4, 2017 (edited) As Anemone stood up, she squinted and beamed up with a wave. She had managed to shove of a chunk of mud that formed around her cape line. But then there was an odd sound coming from above her. Red eyes widened when she noticed the bear, "Chewie! No!" her voice raised but the splatter had continued with or without her permission. More mud shot up from under the bear cub as it splattered in all directions against her shirt and pants. Her expression was that of dismay as she looked down at the familiar who once again begged to be picked up. Rolling red eyes formed when she heard the booming voice above her, "Mack! Don't you da---" SPLAT!!! His heavy body with the impact of his landing and the mud had caused another wave of mud and dirt to just drench her, this time catching enough of the spew in her face and hair. The woman showed a fist for the first time in a long time and stammered. With both hands, she cleaned her face of dark brown sludge everything looking like a brown and dark grey as she smeared it off her face, "This is gonna take forever to clean..." she said in a defeated voice. Unfortunately that was not the least of her problems. They must have stumbled upon some Troll, Orc, Goblin? tribe's domain which meant...battling. With his axe waving about, the Vice Commander released a mighty assault up those spear-men but not before getting caught up in their thrusting pikes. She had half the mind not to heal him after that fiasco, but while his antic was mildly joke driven, not healing him would be considered mean especially in a game like this. ID: 81233 CD:2 + 3 = Fail Heal: None With a hand out on the Thread of Life, Anemone attempted to heal Mack and his lost HP. When the green started to rise from her hands, it quickly faded and she let out a very dark choice of words, "Gosh....!! Darn it!!" It had been a taxing last few moments. @Mack Edited April 4, 2017 by Anemone
Mack 0 Posted April 17, 2017 #43 Share Posted April 17, 2017 OOC: Monster Counter 0/15. @Anemone ID: 82563 BD: 10 (7+3) MD: 10 (9+1) Explode Catapult: 2x7x15=210 [H:4]Mack: 538/1030 47/102 (151-84=67 DMG) (67x4 Goblins=248 DMG) Goblin Spearmen 1-4: 39/515 (-210 DMG) The towering axe man would have apologized to Anemone for further drenching her in mud, but really there were more important goblin-based things to be dealing with at the moment. Besides that, how was he supposed to know that the entrance to the dungeon ended in a colossal mud pit? Tightening his grip on Invictus, to make sure that he didn’t lose the axe or allow it to slip from his fingers in the slippery and muddy environment, the Vice Commander’s slate grey eyes remained focused upon the quartet of goblin spearmen that were facing him. As the goblins formed a pike wall the ginger giant flung himself forward, obviously not caring if the goblins stabbed him a few times in the process. After all, he was traveling with a more than capable healer and, besides that, he could easily dispatch the nasty little creatures before they could kill him. The glowing two-handed axe briefly lit up the cavern around them as it scythed a deadly path of destruction through the goblins, knocking each of the creatures down into the red zone on their health. Chewie, still over burdened with a tummy full of berries rolled around in the mud in the general direction of Anemone before, finally, he fetched up against her legs. Wrapping his front paws around his belly, the bear rumbled and groaned and then held up his paws to Anemone again to be picked up. Why couldn’t this human figure out the drill already? Chewie had eaten, in rough terms, his own body weight in blackberries and other treats. Now, he needed to digest, which meant that someone needed to carry him around for several hours and who better than Anemone? Obviously, she wasn’t fighting, so her hands were free. Everyone knew that.
Anemone 0 Posted April 19, 2017 Author #44 Share Posted April 19, 2017 (edited) ID: 82711 CD: 5+3 = 8 Heal: Success! +412 HP [H:4]Mack: 950/1030 47/102 Goblin Spearmen 1-4: 39/515 Whatever Mack had done, those Goblin Spearmen were none to happy about his axe. With their long thin weapons poised to strike, Mack was darted four times by their barbaric weapons. Anemone bit down on her lip watching his health plummet once again. She calmed herself down and put her hands up as the golden green aura started to emit in between her hands. Slowly shuffling her feet through the thick mud, she cast the glowing light towards Mack where he was not nearly as perfectly restored but he was healed enough to be out of the harm of danger for a few rounds. When his health had once more gone to the green, she sighed and whipped the sweat from her brow which was a mix of dirt and mud. Chewie, of all things, cared little for the battle of people and goblins. His stout belly full from all that he had devoured and he once more looked to Anemone and made the same gesture as last time. "You are so difficult to deal with sometimes, I knew you were gonna get a tummy ache." The woman rolled her sleeves up. She was already a dirty mess and she didn't care one way or another for the moment, but she shifted her arms and heaved that rolly-polly mass of muscle and fur over her shoulder, the small girl's leg buckled and she gave out a small grunt of exhaustion, "I hope you are happy!" she said patting the back on his back as she held him in place, sticky mud and fur all over her uniform. @Mack Edited April 19, 2017 by Anemone
Mack 0 Posted April 19, 2017 #45 Share Posted April 19, 2017 @Anemone OOC: Monster Counter – 4/15 ID: 82744 BD: 7 (4+3) MD: 5 (4+1) Trample Act: 3x2x15 (12 EN) [H:4]Mack: 950/1030 36/102 Goblin Spearmen 1-4: 39/515 [-90 HP] “Thank you,” Mack called over his shoulder as his eyes noticed the sudden replenishment of his health bar on the head’s up display. In front of him the mottled green goblins continued to wave their weapons about in as fierce a threatening display as they, likely, could muster. Given that the whole lot of them were nearly dead as it was, the threats from the goblins were somewhat lacking in the ferocity department. “Is that so,” the axe man rumbled, raising Invictus and triggering another savage flurry of blows that reduced the four goblins to free floating pixels. With the creature’s dispatched, the coloosal fighter knelt and began searching for any loot they might have dropped. Meanwhile, Chewie found himself being lifted up into the air. Finally. Humans were awfully slow sometimes. Still, this one finally seemed to have gotten the message. Carries time came after eats time. Everyone knew that. Yawning, the bear buried his face in the healer’s neck, closed his eyes, and promptly went to sleep. Anemone 0 Posted April 30, 2017 Author #46 Share Posted April 30, 2017 (edited) When thanked, Anemone smiled and titled her head to one side. She had bigger problems to deal with now though since the bear was mostly taking up all her arm space. The woman grunted lightly as her boots sank deep into the thick mud from the weight of her and the bear cub. Strands of hair befalling to her face as she blew away the rogue strands constantly but to no effort. The bear seemed to be happy as a lamb snoring away and sleeping while she was having her grievances with it. With a small lopsided smile, the woman turned the bear over and placed him over top her satchel for easier carrying. There was no way she was gonna hold him like a baby the entire way through. At least this way, she would have her hands free to do what she needed to do and that was to help with Mack and his..."Oh, they are dead already." There was no need to fix what was not broken by any means now, so she knew sure enough after a battle like that, the two of them would need a moment to rest up for at least awhile until Mack got his energy pools replenished. ID: 83439 LD: 3+ 8 = ;( Until then she would have to rest up as well, but that didn't mean she couldn't be proactive in finding some materials while waiting. Her red eyes scanned the immediate are and she bit down on her lower lip, "Mud...and more mud." She said to herself. @Mack Edited April 30, 2017 by Anemone
