Solomon 0 Posted February 27, 2017 Author #41 Share Posted February 27, 2017 (edited) Solomon waited as he waited and watched as Shield found the perfect location to land a hit. He had gotten behind the defensive shield of Avalanche, which was most likely the best shot to making a successful hit on Avalanche. However, Solomon knew that his attacks were generally a low damage output, which would mean that the boss would need to hit him. That would be much easier from this point. Therefore, seeing the end of combat come to a close, Solomon folded his arms and moved away from the trees. He had gotten all but a few spec's of white snow out of his hair, which he could easily get out later in the day. Soon, Solomon found himself standing near the Shield, but off to the side, where he would not even be considered a possible target. Solomon just watched the rest of the combat take place, not expressing any further emotions. Edited March 2, 2017 by Solomon
Shield 0 Posted February 27, 2017 #42 Share Posted February 27, 2017 (edited) Spoiler ID# 78364 results: ShieldHP: 580/580, DMG: 3 (24 Bleed), Mit: 96, Regen: 54, Thorns: 28 dmg Battle: 1 - Miss Avalanche: HP: -15/100, DMG: 40 [DEAD] MOB: 6 - Hit! 40 dmg - 96 mit - 54 regen = 0 dmg, Thorns - 28 dmg Shield chopped with his weapon, but his attack glanced off of the icy leg of the elemental. Still, being in close range meant a much harder time for the foe to attack him safely, and that is exactly what happened. The Avalanche slammed its open palm down on Shield, but before it could even follow through with the strike enough to slam him into the ground again, the boss' hit points drained to zero, and in a burst of red pixels, followed by an explosion of snow that burst forth from its icy body, the boss was dead. He fell back into the snow drift behind him, eyes closed, heaving a huge sigh of relief. It was several seconds before he spoke or moved, but once he had taken the proper time to let his mind relax after the battle, he propped himself up on his elbow and glanced over at Solomon. "Remind me never to take another quest on this floor," he groaned before struggling his way back up to his feet. "Come on, big guy. Let's head back to town and I'll tell you all about the world of SAO and how we all got here. You need to learn how to manage your skills, or you're going to have a rough time of it here."
