[PP-F1]Dark Ore Hunt (with Saphira) COMPLETE

It was another gorgeous day at the first floor of Aincrad, the sun shone warm onto Hei 's naked torso. The black haired spearman was taking a swim as he used to do the last three month, since he had found this nice little lake when questing. The cold water played around his waist when he walked out of the lake, shaking his head to get rid of the water in it. "hnnn ah, that was refreshing" he said as he made his way towards the big stone he was going to lie down and have a short nap.

But there was something preventing him from following his routines, there was a person walking around, looking for something. The person was a girl, maybe 16 or 17 with work cloths on. Her long brown hair flew in the soft breeze and Hei saw that there was a Name shown above her. - She must be a NPC, but why is she out here, I have been here for month and never seen her before - he thought while coming closer, opening a conversation "Excuse me lady, would you tell me what you are looking for so far from town?" The NPC girl answered shortly after she heard the question "Oh, I didn't think I would meet someone out here. I am looking for some rare ore which should be found in the area around here. Could you help me finding some of it?"

It was another sunny day, Saphira walked through the green Meadow. It´s been a long time since Saphira was outside the town. For some while Saphira wander aimlessly around. She was listening to the birds and the other animals. Saphira had almost forgotten how beautiful it was outside the town. With a laugh she run over the meadow. It´s beautiful! she thought. It was a long time ago, since Saphira had laughed. She stoped and closed her eyes, she breath in and enjoy the breeze. The wind brings her anthracite-black hair to fly. She opened her eyes again and saw a girl with Long Brown hair, who is this? she thought. Quiet she followed the girl. As she followed the girl she saw a lake. Someone, a boy with short black hair walked out of the water. Saphira crouched behind a big Stone and observed the boy. He went to the girl and talk to her, careful Saphira came nearer. Near a tree she stoped again and as she came one step closer, she stepped on a branch. With a loud crack the branch broke and the boy turned around.

While the topless man was talking to the brown haired girl he got interrupted once again, this time by the alarming sound of a stick breaking. Hei quickly turned his head in the direction, water flying of of his hair, looking like a sparkling halo in the sunlight. There was another girl, she was standing near a tree and was looking at them, her hair flowing in the light breeze. - Must be my lucky day, two girls came here just for me - he joked with himself and a smile sneaked onto his face. With this light smile and a general friendly look on his face he called to her "Good afternoon my lady, my name is Hei and I just happened to hear you. Is there anything I can do for you?"

After this rather polite greeting he turned back to the NPC girl, who had just asked him if he could find some rare ore around here. "You are lucky meeting me, I will of course help you to find what ever it is you are looking for, but I will need some more description to be able to help you"

As the young man saw Saphira, he smiled and began to talk. He said his name is Hei, and he ask if ther was anithing he could do for her. Then he turned around again and talked again to the girl. Over her head was a name, it must be an NPC character. Should I answer him? Saphira thought, but at the moment he talks to another person, and I don´t want to disturb them...but he asked me also...no, I should wait. Saphira stand still and tries to listen the birds. Furtive Saphira looked at Hei, he looks friendly...but friendly looking dosen´t mean, that he is friendly.

After Hei talked to the girl, Saphira came a little step closer, I hope I do nothing wrong, I don´t like to talk to others, I never know, what I should sai.

"Uhhm...Hi...my name is Saphira...uhhm...I´m sorry, I don´t want to disturb you...I better should go..." and I should better stop talking.

After Hei ended his questioning of the NPC girl, who has not yet given him a description of the ores, he returns his gaze to the second girl. She hed no name tag above her, so she was a player and that meant, that she must be looking for something on her own, why should she come out here? - I wonder what she wants from me? - he asked himself, when the girl shyly approached him. With her stuttering like she did he was sure she was not the kind of person, that found it easy to make contact with other, which meant she was probably not having many friends within the game. "So your name is Saphira? That is a quite nice name, as some resemblance with the name of a gemstone, and I recall a dragon from a  book I read when I was in Europe for studying game design was called the same. Do not worry to disturb me, as you do in no way disturb us. This girl is ... " Hei realizes, that he had seen the girls nametag, but never really looked at it, so he made up for it now " ... Malissa, she is looking for some rare ores, would you like join in on the search? We could use it as a chance to know each other better. "
At this moment Malissa taped on his shoulder and when Hei turned his head she began telling him about the ore. "Thank you already. The ore I am looking for is called <<crystallized darkness>> and it looks like dark crystal stars, there is always shadow flowing around them. The ore is quite unique in it's look, so if the ore lumps weren't so small it would be easy to find them. "

Hei turned around as Malissa taped on his shoulder. Should I come with him? I think yes...but otherwise...no, I really should come with him. He asked me, also I really hadn´t disturb them... - Saphira stopped thinking. She stand still and listen the conversation. It sounds like we should search some ore, I wonder wich ore... Saphira came one small step more closer and stand still again. The sun shone warm on to her hair and for a moment she closed her eyes and enyoied the soft breeze. I hadn´t thought, that I would meet someone outside the town...and actually I would to be alone...but this could be a chance for me. She opened her eyes again and looked, at the same moment Hei turned around again and looked at her. It´s a little bit funny, Hei turnes the whole time around, him must be dizzy- Saphira thought.

"Uhhm...y-yes, I join the search." Saphira smiles.

Just when Malissa ended her description of the ore he would be looking to gather Hei turned back around to look at Saphira, who seemed to still be not sure of what to think of him. Hei examined her, having a look at her equipment - starter armour, and starter dagger, nothing much more than that. She isn't one of the players who have done since the game started. Maybe I can help her with getting a bit stronger. - he thought, when she smiled at him, accepting his offer to escort him for the ore search.
"It's nice having you around. As I said earlier my name is Hei, I work for a gaming magazine as a journalist, and I am just as stuck as you are, but that does not prevent me from living my life and doing my job. You look a little under levelled for the time that past, but my journey outside the town just began shortly. For us to better get around here and search for the ores we need to find, we should create a group, so please accept my invite." with these word Hei opened up his menu, moving over to the party tab and invited Saphira to join his party.

Then he began wandering around the place, looking for some dark ore chunks that might were to be found where they were at the moment. But there wasn't any ore found nearby.

Saphira opened her menu and accept Hei´s invite. I hope it was a good decision to join him - she thought. Saphira began to walk around and search for the ore. He is a journalist for a gaming Magazine...it must be cool to have a job. He is friendly, he must have many friends. I ask me...has he a family? A family who missed him? Stop thinking about that! I should better search the ore. She tries to stop thinking about it and tries to find the ore. Saphira searched, but she can´t finde the ore. She takes another way back to the brown haired girl. On the way back she looked again, but she finde nothing, again. I ask me if Hei had found some ore. She saw  the tree, but Hei wasn´t there, also she looked after him and found him behind some big Stones. Careful came Saphira closer.

"Uhhm...I haven´t found some ore. Maby we should search on another place...or have you found some ore?" Saphira said shyly.

Hei was just looking into a heap of dirt when Saphira approached him, telling him she hadn't found anything yet. - She is still stuttering a little, is it because of me, or is she just not good at speaking to strangers at all - Hei wondered, but he had no good answer to his own question, so he instead answered hers: "Well, Malissa told us, that the ore was rare and that it was hard to find it, so I think we should not abandon the idea of finding it here so quick. Maybe we can find some if we have a look in some of the shrubberies around here, or in some of the heaps of dirt. And if it relieves you, I am not that good with strangers myself, you don't need to hide yourself, just speak up a little."  He advised the girl.

Just as he had said to Saphira he himself began digging in one of the heaps of dirt with his hands, searching for a piece of the rare shadow ore, but besides dirt and dirty grey stones there was nothing he could find. - I hate searching quests, but I cant surrender this quickly, as I have just told her not to -

"Uhhm...O-Okay, I will try it. I´ll search in some of the shrubberies." Saphira answered Hei. She turns around and went towards a shrubberi. With her hands, Saphira shoved some of the branches out of the way ant take a look on the ground of the shrubberi. She saw nothing, just dirt and some of the roots of the shrubberi. Saphira stand up again and walked to the next shrubberie. Again she shoves the branches away, and she found again nothing in the shrubberie. As she wanted to walk to the next shrubberie, she stumbled over a heap of dirt. As she tumble, her foot adjoined on something hard. Ouch! Damn it! What was that?. Grumbeling she stand up and whisked the dirt from her clothes. She turns around and take a look on that what had brings her to fall. It was a heap of dirt - just dirt...but whait, what is that? - she came a step closer and looked again - dirt, dirty stones and...what is that? - ther was another stone, full of dirt, but it dosen´t look like a normal, dirty stone, it was...darker. Saphira rubbed the dirt away from the strange stone. Yes, it is some of the cristal ore. -  she thought happily.

She walked back to Hei " I have found something of the ore, it´s not much but it´s a beginning." she smiles and showed Hei the ore lump.

He hadn't had much time after sending Saphira to the nearby shrubberies before she came back, her face showing a big smile - Smiling fits her face way better than worrying - he thought at that moment, but he was not showing his thoughts to the outer world. Then she sowed him a lump of dark crystal ore, and told him that she had found something, but that it wasn't much. "Really well done, I haven't found ore myself, but I will have a look for everything that resembles what you just showed me. If you want to know if it is the right thing just go over to Malissa and show it to her. I haven't asked her how many chunks of ore she needs, but the quest that appeared after I accepted her asking told me that we need to find at least two lumps together." With this he left Saphira where she was and made his way to the nearby shrubberies to have a look himself. - If even an untrained and under equipped girl like her can find it, it should not be to hard to find with my enhanced senses. - So Hei went looking through a few of the bushes and without any difficulties found another lump of the strange dark ore.

He picked it up and went over to Malissa, asking her if it was what she was looking for. "Yes, that's the Ore I was looking for. If you bring me a second piece it should be enough for the special order I was given." with these words Malissa takes the lump of ore from Hei and it disappears, a quest message appears and informs him, that the quest is 50% completed. "Hey Saphira, if you bring yours to Malissa too, we should be done with helping her. Would you like to join me for something to eat at a tavern I know?"

Saphira walked to Hei and Malissa. She gave Malissa the ore lump. "Thank you, now I have enough ore for the special order" , a quest message appears and informs Saphira, that the quest was completed. Malissa turns around and walked away, back to the town. Saphira looked to Hei, "Uhhm...yes, I´m a little hungry." she answered his question. "But I think you should take all your clothes on, before we went to a tavern." she said with a little smile on her face. Saphira walked back to the tree and sit down. Preccupied Saphira twitches on the grass and waits untill Hei comes back, entire dressed. I am glad, that I had met Hei, it was a little bit funny to search the dark crystal ore - she smiles - I hope I can really trust him. She closed her eyes and listened the wind in the trees and the birds. As she heard paces she opened her eyes again and stand up.

When Saphira came over to them and handed the lump of ore she had found earlier over to Malissa, she thanked them for helping her with finding the ore. Then a quest message appeared in front of Hei, informing him about the new status of the quest, which was completed. - Nicely done, finished a quest and gained some experience points without doing much, this should happen more often. - After Saphira had closed the message she answered his question by accepting it, but mentioning that he still had nothing more as his trousers on, and that he should change it before going to the tavern he had mentioned. Seeing her smile and how she left to sit down at the tree nearby, he quickly opened his menu and switched into his equipment tab, and tabbed all the items he was wearing out of battle.

When he returned to Saphira, Hei wore black leather armour, a black cloak with a deep hood, that hid his face, but showed a big dark red eye. His Legs still bare except for the short black shorts he had worn before, his arms also bare, but darkness crawling up from his hand to his forearms, ending in claws. So he walks over to the girl and watches her, till she turns around. "I'm ready to go, if your ready I would lead us to a tavern I found a few month ago, who don't sell normal food, but desert all day long. "

When Saphira is ready to follow him he leads the two of them to a tavern called "The Spicy rabbit" - This is where I brought Airi after our last meeting, I think she had caramel apple - he remembered, when he entered the nearly empty tavern and greeted the big man behind the counter and ordered the same as usual (chocolate cup cake)

It was strange for Saphira to walk nearby Hei, who wear only black, a little bit creepy clothes. A black cloak with a deep hood and a big dark red eye on the hood, black leather armour and black, strange gloves - they looking like pure, living darkness with claws, there where the fingers end...a little bit creepy but also interesting. - . Saphira followed Hei into a tavern with the Name "The Spicy Rabbit". As the two entered the tavern, Saphira looked curious around. It was a small room out of oakwood planks. Beside the door were a table with three chairs. On the left wall were three other tables with chairs. Towards the door stood a bar with five barstools. Hei greeted the man behind the bar, and ordered the same as usual. Then he walked to the tables on the left wall, he take a sit on the table in the middle of the three. Saphira followed him and takes a sit on his opposite. She took the menu on the table and looked inside them - what should I order? - she asked herself. The man came to the table, in his hand a plate with Hei´s order. It was a chocolate cup cake - It looks yummy - she thought.

"And what can I bring you, young Lady?" the man asked Saphira "Uhhm...a raspberry cup cake, please." she answered the question.

After a little time, the man cam back to the table and put a plate with a raspberry cup cake and a fork in front of Saphira on the table - yummy! -.

As the two of them sat there, eating their yummy food, Hei took the chance and had a look at the girl that was sitting across from him. She had black hair just like his own, and she had bright green eyes. - How haven't I noticed them before, they are so green, as if one would look into the hills around town. - she wasn't big, but that was nothing she had do worry about. When Hei inspected her gear he once again noticed, that she had nothing but her starter equipment, so he thought a moment and then between two bites of his cupcake asked her "You don't have any equipment other than that, am I right? If you'd like I can show you my tailor shop afterwards, maybe you are interested in some of the equipment. And I know a talented blacksmith, who might have a better dagger for you than what you have at the moment." Then Hei finished eating his cupcake and paid the bartender for what they had.

Saphira looked up off her half-eaten raspberry cup cake. "Uhhm...yes, you are right. I have only my starter equipment and I am well interestet on some new equipment....but I have not much money" she said a little bit shyly "And a new or better dagger sounds also great, but I think, I have not enuogh money for that." 
She eats a bit of her cup cake - even if I have not enough money...Hei could show me the things, I guess he could reserve the things who interested me - Saphira thought. 
"But...maybe you could show me the things, and reserve them for me. I will try to get enough money for the reserved things." Saphira said with bright eyes - "Otherwise, I could search matereal for you, or could help you." quizzical and a little bit shy she looked at Hei, waiting for a answer of him. Saphira looked again to Hei - It looks like he is thinking, I hope my idea is okay for him, I really hope it - .

When Saphira told him, that she might not have enough money to pay for some new equipment a light laughter overcame him "That's not a problem. I don't have many customers and I got most of my better equipment for free too. It would be a pleasure to help a player getting what she needs to survive in this game" He was sure that there would be no problem in that for her, or at least he hoped so. - I'll show her my shop later on, and I'll send a message to Barryt, for him to give her what she needs. - he mentally noted and then turned back to Saphira. She just told him, that she still would some day pay for them, or at least help him with some material searching in exchange, which was pretty nice, as he was out of material way to often. "Sounds like a good offer, I'll accept that. You can take what you need now and pay it back later by helping me gather materials. Tell me when you're ready to leave and I'll show you where I live and work."

Saphira eats the last bit of her cup cake and looked again to Hei. - I am happy, that he had accepted my idea - she thought glad - I´ll help him and he will give me equipment - 
"Uhhm...I am ready, we could go" she said and stand up, "I will wait outside the tavern" Saphira walked through the room to the door, opened the door and went out. In the bright light outside the tavern, Saphira had to blink. She closed the door and looked up to the sky, it was a blue sky without clouds. Saphira looked around, the street was out of cobblestone, nobody was there, she heard the birds and felt the warmth of the sun and a soft breeze on her skin. Saphira closed her eyes and take a deep breath, her face showed a little smile. - Maby this could be my lucky day - she thought with a smile - new equipment...I hope Hei has something that could help me -
She walked to the wall beside the door and waited.

When Saphira had eaten the last bites of her cupcake she told Hei, that she wad ready and that she would wait outside. - I could have just stand up and get out with her, but as she said she would wait outside I can take my time and let her have a short time without me, so she can think all this through - he thought, while he slowly stretched and stood up, after she had left the tavern.

After a short while Hei left <the spicy rabbit> and stepped into the bright daylight "wow, it's pretty bright here" he said, while his eyes got used to the sunlight. Then he looked around to find Saphira, who had chosen a place in the shade, right at the wall next to the door. "Nice day I would say, so let's use this weather and get over to my shop, before the rain is coming" he said with a laughter. Then he led them trough the town of beginnings, as his shop was situated nearly all the way across the city near a nice and green grove of trees.

When the two of them arrived at the shop, Hei unlocked the door with a handswipe and opened it, signalling Saphira to enter. "This is my home and workplace, make yourself comfortable"

After Hei had opened the door, Saphira entered the room behind the door tentative. It was a room with a few Judys and James who were dressed with clothes, rolls of fadric and some other things which a tailor needs. Saphira looked curious around. She walked through the room to the Judys and James and take a look on the clothes which they wear. Two of the Judys donned dresses, one was knee long and green, the other was longer and violet. One of the James donned a light, black armour. As she turns around, Saphira looked in the face of a plush goblin. - Thats a strange thing, but also a little bit cut - Saphira thought with a little smile on her face. She looked to the other James to her left, the clothes which they donned were pants who had the color of the sun set. "Uhm...it looks all very interesting...but I think ther is nothing in this room what I would wear...so maby...have you something other stuff in black?" saphira asked Hei a little bit shy.
