[F1 Tailor Shop] "The Hanger"

At the outskirts of the <town of beginning> near the grove where Hannah, the artisan from the <<the third lesson>> quest likes to draw her pictures there is a nice two storey wooden building. Over its door there is a oversized wooden hanger, holding the words "The Hanger" on thin strings. If one enters the building there is a room with stairs leading to the attic. Up there Hei has his little bedroom, but what is way more important is the sparely arranged room which holds his Tailor workshop. There are a few Judys and James, dressed with what he has to sell at the moment. On a board to the left there are rolls of fabric, waiting to become clothing for whom ever buys it.

At the door one can see a sign,reading: Special offer! 50% off for members of the Guardians of the New Dawn. 100% off on uncommon to rare Items for new players! With a second sign underneath reading: Just one free piece per person, for players below Level 15.

It was not long after Hei had finished the earning a living quest Aereth had told him to do, that he opened his own Shop. The Hanger would be his home and where he would work for some time. It was afternoon and the reddish sunlight shone into his workshop when Hei decided that it was time to craft something from what he had gathered earlier. - OK, Aereth said it was quite simple to craft, just remember what enhancements go onto which type of item. I should have a look at the crafting menu and learn what I can craft with my beginner rank. - So Hei opened the menu and had a look, finding out that he had just unlocked the patterns for some clothing, so he took out one of the cotton flours he had gathered with Aereth and began using the craftingskill to form it into a cotton tunic, but the quality of his first ever crafting attempt was not what he wanted, so he dissembled it again.

"Ha, it is not so easy to craft something good, maybe when I have a better picture of what I want in my head" and so he began creating a headband from the material he had dissembled earlier, that he could use so his hair would not fall into his eyes while working. What he created did not look very good and the seams where bad, nearly falling apart. - I can't sell this, but for now I'll just put it on this dummy head, ... wait, its a James, I remember hearing that somewhere -

After yesterdays failures Hei had a new Idea. He lacked of inspiration, so he went into the grove that was right across his door. Hannah was not there this early in the morning, so he had the place for him alone. - What should I craft? What do I need and what will others need? - where his thought while sitting in the moist grass. Then a dark bird, a raven landed in a tree a little away and Hei had an Idea of what he could craft.

He ran into the store, looked for the bats leather he had found when he was in the cave where he found the gemstone for Hannah. With the leather he sat down at his worktable and began crafting a cloak, dark as the raven with one eye in the middle of the hood for a more creepy look. As he finished a system message popped up * Congratulations, you have created a rare Item, which Enhancements do you want to add? * So Hei had a look in the crafting menu just to find out there was not much he could put into it. As it already had an eye he decided to go with an increase in finding things with it.

After that he wanted to craft another cloak, this time for selling. The second one looked fabulous, just like raven wings, at least when he waved it through the air. But it was not rare, so he could not put enhancements into it. - I wonder if someone will buy it, if not I know a person loving wings. -

After yesterdays success with the 'Cloak of Eyes' and the more or less useful 'Raven Wings' Hei was in a good mood when he entered his workshop early in the morning. There was not much light at the moment, so he lit up a candle, that illuminated the room with warm light. "Look at that, my store looks great in that light" he said to no one but himself. Then he sat down on his working table, but before he would start working he had to have breakfast. - One should think I could eat something better than bread, but I need to save my col for now -

After finishing his bread and drinking a little Hei was ready to begin the days work and so he rummaged through his left over materials, looking for what he would use today. He found out, that there was not much left he could work with, and so he decided to craft some everyday cloth, one could wear to all occasions. The first cloth he wanted to do were dark blue trousers with a lot of room to move, but the seams where bad again and Hei feared, that the trousers would rip open when moving in them, so he tried to disassemble them to not move the material, but while cutting a seam the item exploded into pixels. "Damn, lost this one, the next will be better" he cursed, but he was wrong, as the next item he wanted to craft broke before it was finished

Hei returned from Domaru's artisan shop, with the new decoration for the store. It was a big painting, showing a black haired tailor, who created wonderful dresses, which came to life after that, so now he was dancing with them. Joy was written on his face and even though the colours where all dark shades it created a good mood in Hei, when he looked at it. Inspired by the dresses Domaru had drawn he would craft a dress himself, showing all the beauty a women or girl possesses. - I should make it in this tone of dark violet, like on that painting, but it has to be less pompous, as one should be able to move in it without problems - And so he began developing patterns and cutting the fabric, so it would be as good as he could do. The dress he created was beautiful and has the power to reflect the wearers beauty as an aura of glowing light.
The second Item he was crafting that day were trousers, which looked just like they were made from woven sunset, in all shades of red and orange and always changing.

Yesterdays work went well, even with Hei not creating an enhanced item, so he was in good mood when entering his workshop, ready for work. After a look into the shelf he quickly realized, that he would need to go hunting or gathering soon, as he had just on material left. - What should I craft with this last material? - he asked himself, and so he opened the crafting menu to have a look on what he could craft. There was an enhancement, which allowed one to gain more EXP from crafting, which would be a nice addition to what he already gathered for his workshop.

As he was an tailor and sitting and sewing was a big part of what he did he wanted to craft some cosy trousers just for tailoring, but the item went bad, not even close to what he wanted and so he tried salvaging it, but in the process the item got destroyed.

Hei had just returned from his journey with Barryt, which had been a full success as he had been rewarded with 20 mats for his use. So he was keen to do some crafting, having seen may new things since he last crafted something he began with what he had seen and tried on the second floor. - The gloves had been super cool, I would like to have something like it myself, it is always good to be able to fight without a weapon - and so Hei choose from his materials, a dark leather and velvet it would be, as the combination would look fantastic. When Hei crafted the Gloves they became just the way he had envisioned them and when he tried them they where even better than what he had expected, perfectly matching to the scary look of Fear Eater the gloves would transform into pure darkness surrounding the Hands and giving it claw like fingernails.

Then a system message appeared, telling him that he had reached Rank 2 as a Tailor and he had now gained access to new patterns for light armour. Hei wanted to try this, but first there was a dress he wanted to make, green and strong enough for the nature, as he was inspired to this by the beautiful mountain forests of floor 2. The dress went well and so he had a first attempt on crafting light armour and it turned out great, dark armour with the ability to increase ones aim after missing.

After his success with crafting items yesterday Hei was going to do some more Tailoring this day, he had plenty materials he could use and there was plenty of stuff he had yet to try. So after standing up and having breakfast Hei went down to his workshop room and took his new bought apron, so the rough cloth of his armour would not leave scratches in the black wild leather he was going to work with today.
Hei began cutting parts of it and then sew them together, following one of the patterns he had got with the last level up of his tailor skill. What he created was a black leather armour for himself, as his beginner thing was damaged a little and not so nice to look at either. The Armour turned out quite well, no even better. A system message appeared, telling him that he had created a perfect item and that he could now add Enhancements to them. Browsing through the list he found a combination that was nice and added it, so now his armour would make him quicker, with increasing his evasion stat and in case he evaded an attack he would also be able to hit even better than before. - this is a nice piece of work, with this fights should not be to hard. - he thought.

Then there was another system message, one of the upgrade type again. He had reached Rank 3 of tailoring, which allowed him to craft a new kind of item called plushies. - Interesting, that I can craft plushies, lets have a look at what they can be enhanced with. - and so he opened the menu and had a look and the plushies enhancements actually were nice, including a reduction of time needed to craft items, so one could craft one item more per day. So he began crafting plushies, whey were quite nice, but none of them was of good enough quality to add enhancements to them.

After reaching rank 3 in Tailoring yesterday Hei was keen to craft some more plushies today, so he browse through his inventory to find some fabric that felt well so the plushie would not just look good, but also be be cuddly. After some time he found some nice piece of cloth he would use. - What kind of plushie would look good with the colours I found? There aren't many animals that could have colours like that, and even less of them would make for a unique plushie. Ha, a slug it will be - So Hei began crafting the his first plushie for the day and it worked great, as he created a perfect item. "This one will be sitting right on that board up there"

After this success Hei was enthusiastic about crafting even more plushies, but his first try was stopped early, when the pack of loincloth exploded into pixels. "Damn, I have to be more careful, there is no material to waste" and so he took another stack of cloth from the board and tried another one, but the plushie was of so bad quality, that Hei did not want to put it into his store, so he loosened the seam and salvaged the materials for later use.

After these two failures Hei was not motivated enough to craft another plushie, so he laid eye on what else he could use. Browsing through his equipment tab he quickly found a part of it, that was not a perfect item and so could be improved. Hei took dark fabric and began sewing and snipping, till a better version of his coat was created. He just gave it the name: <The better Eye> and was happy about completing his equipment for the moment. So there was one more Item he could craft today, but what should it be? The answer was simple, as he had met Spahira earlier and she seemed to like crows, he crafted a fitting plushie for her.

Hei had be crafting a few parts for his new equipment and now was happy with what he had, so he could focus on crafting a few pieces he could sell. - What could customers be interested in? Probably good armour and stuff like this, but it might be better to just craft on commissions. I should put a board with prices into shop room and forms to fill in what one needs. But what else will be bought? ... Vanity cloth, that is what many will buy - and so he sat down and began crafting. The fist outfit, made for man was not getting well, so he decided to salvage it, but halfway through it the piece burst into pixels. So he soon began crafting another thing, some helmet he had a good vision for and when it was finished it looked like he envisioned it, colourful with so many ribbons that they could be hair.

"Ok, let's do another part of vanity clothing" he said to himself, when a message from one of his guild members popped up. He skimmed the message that asked him if he could craft some gloves increasing once damage, and so he scrapped the idea he just had and crafted a pair of gloves, inspired by the grove outside the window. Then he did a few more vanity items before attempting to craft another pair of gloves, but he wasn't inspired, so they just got with the easiest design, claws.

After working in his shop a few days without going outside and refilling his supplies Hei once again was nearly out of materials for crafting. As he still had do create items to sell them and his equipment being finished by now he began working early in the morning, so he might have time to go looking for some materials later on. The first attempt to craft something for this day resulted in him having a leather armour that was of yo bad quality, that he instantly decided to salvage it, and he was lucky actually doing it.

OK, this hadn't worked out, but he was still going to create a leather armour, and this time he was way more lucky, crafting a perfect item. "Voila, this is how we do it, just have to decide which enhancements gonna be embedded" he said to himself, while he decided to make it mitigate damage and increasing the possibility of evading an attack. That was nice, and so he got on, crafting two more items until there weren't any materials left. He first crafted another plushie, which got to be a perfect item, with the +1 Crafting Attempt enhancement and an apron of leather, also perfect with the ambitious enhancement.

Gryas knocked on the door of The Hanger as he was opening it and walked straight in. It was the first time he had visited Hei at his store, and to be honest he did not know the man well yet only having met him a short time ago upon his induction to the Emerald Harbingers. Gryas was hoping to get a new suit made today as well as a cape, and had a few mats to spare so figured now as a good time to visit Hei at The Hanger.

Gryas walked into the store and greeted Hei. "Hello again! I thought I would come by and give you some business. The store is looking great by the way!" Gryas said as he walked up to the order forms and grabbed two of them. "I have a couple requests to keep you busy my friend, and the materials to spare!" Gryas filled out two forms and passed them across to Hei. The first was a intricately designed emerald green cloak with the Emerald Harbingers symbol on the back and a large bear claw on each shoulder clasping the cloak to his armour. The second was a casual yet well designed black and grey suit with a tie.

Some time had passed, since Hei was in his shop, and not just walking through it to get out of the house. But today he would be in the store, but he was not sure if he was going to work on some clothes and equipment, as he had something else to do first. He had got a message from one of his guildmembers, who asked if Hei could help out with some gear, so he was going to bring some of the items he had lying around in his room down to the store. But when he came down, he heard a knock on the door and quickly put away the stuff he was holding.

When Gryas entered the store, he was Hei standing there, wearing his usual dark armour and the dark cloak, even though he did not wear the hood. He also wasn't wearing the gloves of annihilation, as the claws weren't good to handle fabric. As he greeted Hei, and told him, that his store looked good, Hei slightly bowed and thanked him for that, greeting him too. When Gryas added, that he had some requests and told him what, Hei was exited, as Gryas was his first customer, even though he was in the same guild. "It would be a pleasure to craft something for you. You can put the order forms right there on that table, and the part with the bear claws on the guild uniform cloak are a great idea, so I'll do my best to get them done. It'll be 5 mats for that and I'll send you a message when I'm done"

Gryas placed the order forms on the table and opened up a trade window with Hei, sending him 5 T1 materials. "Thanks Hei! Here are your materials as well. Let me know if you ever need any potions also, I just set up a little work shop up on the fourth floor." Gryas went over to the board of fabrics that were on the wall and looked through them until he found the perfect shade of emerald green that was the exact colour that he had envisioned his cloak would be. "This one is perfect Hei! As for the suit, I am happy to leave the materials up to you, I don't know much about this stuff so happy to leave it in your expert hands." This store was far better set up then his own, it actually looked like a store where as his looked more like a workshop with his large bulky oak wooden tables and alchemical equipment all over the place. This place was also colourful and friendly where Gryas's establishment was more cramped yet homely. "OK man I am off for now, let me know when its done and I will swing by. We should hit up a quest together some time!" Gryas said as he said farewell to him before making his way out.

After Hei had talked to Gryas and he had left left the order forms on the table and had traded over the five materials, Hei was ready to begin his work. As he hadn't done this in weeks, so he began by looking through his fabrics and found one, that would be great for the suit Gryas wanted. Then he looked at the other fabric he had already on his table as Gryas had decided, that t would be what he wanted his cloak to be made from.

With his material where it had to be, Hei put on the pinafore he had gotten from Pajaluna, and even though it looked silly it would help him to get a better tailor. With his silly looking uniform he began crafting, as he wouldn't wanted Gryas to wait to long.

The first item he was trying was the Cape in emerald green, and Hei was surprised, that it worked so good, as he quickly created a perfect cape, and hoped, that it would just look as Gryas had imagined it. The next thing to come was the suit, but that one did not work out so quick, as the first item he crafted just burst into pixels before even been finished. But with a second attempt, he got a suit, that should fit Gryas needs well.

Then he was about to craft a leather coat fr himself, as he would need some kind of uniform, but it did not work out so well so he crafted some different items for his store.

After finishing his crafting for today, Hei went on with bringing down stuff he would give away to the guild. "I hope someone can use them, as it would be a pity to have all that lie around here and not getting used." he said, while bringing down a box with stuff. -Let's put all of it right here on this table- he thought and began to unpack the things. The first one was a big and evil looking shield he had used for quite some time, before he had gotten his new spear. Together with the shield he put the spear he had used before he got the new one. And with the spear, he put the uncommon two handed spear, he had gotten from a quest, before he had switched to using one handed spears. It wasn't to much he could put here, but there still were many things in his store he had crafted himself, that someone from his guild might need.

After he had started to put the things in his shop, that some of his guild members would be thankful for, Hei was going to decorate his shop a little, just so he could open it up for the event. He started with putting the stuff, he had just brought down yesterday, on display, so everyone could see them, then he quickly sew a banner, the read Harbringer Equipment Days: Feel free to grab anything you need, and 50% discount for special orders

He hung it up, so everyone could see it when entering the store. After this was done, he made his way over to the materials he had left and began crafting, as he had still no guild uniform for himself. His plan was to create a dark green leather coat, but as he began with the first one, the new item quickly broke, and exploded into pixels. He tried it some more times, but none of the material he had found was good enough for his uniform, so he created some other items, he could put into his shop.

After Hei had prepared his store the day before, he was ready for some of his friends and guild mates to come and have a look at his stuff. As he was not sure how good buzz marketing would work, he decided to write a personal message to every one in the guild:

Hi, it's Hei.
As you might know, I own a tailor shop on the first floor. Feel free to visit my store.
I have many Items in stock and as I want to help the guild, I'll hand out equipment for those who need it. I also added some stuff I had in my storage, as I no longer need them.

After Hei sent the message, he went to the working table, to craft some more items, hoping, that he would find some leather, that would be good enough for his uniform to be made of. After he had looked 5 minutes and not found something he liked, he decided, that he would first craft something else. As he already had a blue cloak in his store, he went on with crafting cloaks, but this one was the colour of a sunny day. Yellow and orange.
The next piece of material he took, was some emerald green leather, and it was perfect for his uniform, so he quickly crafted a coat of it, bearing the emblem of the harbingers. It was a good day. As he had finished his uniform, he decided, that it was time to craft some more armour. His was nice, but he wished for some other effects, so he began crafting some Armour.

All of it did not went as good as he wished for, so he decided, that they would go to his shop, instead of taking one for himself.

Eatos had gotten the message from her guild-mate about about his services, and she knew something about said guild. A possible mission involvnig all guild member, of course, this had to wait until a certain guild leader got his act together. So, in order to help him, the blacksmith paid one of the guilds tailors a visit. She smiled as she saw Hei, and realized it was one of the few times she'd actually met him in person.

"Heya Hei" She said as she placed 9 Tier 1 Materials, and a certain order form to him "This is for him, so no pressure" she said teasingly as she let out another yawn. It had been a long day, she came all the way down to the first floor for this!

Hei was getting ready for a long and boring day. He had been out of materials after his last working day, and so there wasn't much to do. He was watching out the window when he saw Eatos coming to pay him a visit. She greeted him friendly and he greeted back "Hey Eatos, what's up?" and she just answered the question by placing some materials and an order form on his counter. Commenting, that it was for "him". As Hei had read the messages within the guild he knew that he was Atzo, the guild leader, and that he would need some new armour, before they could venture of to hunt some dragons.

So Hei took the mats and the form, told Eatos, that he would message either her or Atzo, when he was finished and began his work. The King of the Harbingers wanted light armour in the guild colour with gold trim, and so Hei looked through the mats and find what would fit. Then it was just half an hour of work to create, what Atzo was looking for.
