She would turn with a pant as Hikoru would finish off the last of the creatures. His body returned back to its normal color from its darkened state. His face was pale, and he even seemed a tad worried. He asked if she was alright. "It hit a little harder than I was suspecting, but I will be alright. I still have yet to move into defensive properties. I have been focused on the evasion properties." She told him. She was glad the man cared for her, but he was worrying a little too much. She had been okay. "What next perhaps? Moving to another floor for another quest? I don't mind. I am just trying to power level quickly. Tired of having such low stats" She told the man. Every word she said was true. She was tired of Tier one. She was ready for Tier three already. Her damage needed to be so much higher scaled. She needed to be so much better than she was now. She should have been able to take on every single one of those creeps single-handedly. Instead, she could barely handle the two she had dealt with. Everything in her mind conflicted about pairing up with this man as well. He was helpful and nice and had a lot of similarities to her. But the other side of her told her that he had the same things, and he was her rival for the shadows.

Hikoru nodded as she said she was doing okay. She was a trooper, and able to take a hit and keep going, something he respected. She asked if they wanted to do any other quests, and he scratched the back of his head. He had done mostly everything that could be done, but he had never fully explored this floor, and he wanted to see what he could find. He opened up his HUD and saw that there were a few blank spots that he hadn't filled yet, most of them found near him, and some of them near the floor boss area. He expected this, as he had not participated in this boss fight as he was too afraid back then. He gave a small sigh and closed it, looking for other doors that could take him to different areas.

"I think I want to explore around here if you don't mind, see what I can uncover..." He moved over a statue and found a hidden passageway hidden behind it. He brushed away the cobwebs that covered it and motioned her close. The passageway itself was filled with cobwebs, something he didn't exactly like. He shuddered at the thought, and took out his dagger and slashed and sliced, making the way through as clean as he could. He scooted down and made his way in, then looked back to Hidden. "You coming?"

Hidden would watch him pull up his HUD and take a look of this floor's map. He told her that he needed to navigate the rest of this floor and he began to cut through some vines and int a hidden passageway. While he cut things, she brought up her map and noticed that she had cleared only about 60% of the map. He asked her if she was coming and she moved in forward, wondering what might possibly lay in store for them. He began to move in and she followed, unaffected by the cobwebs. Perhaps they were actually moving into a spider's den. That would be somewhat interesting she guessed. "So. What have you been doing lately? If you are almost out of quests, then what do you do?" She asked. She was mostly just trying to get a conversation going, nothing personal. She would get bored just exploring, and she needed something to do. She cut down a vine from the wall and watched it hit the ground and shatter. It was hard to make a path from where you came, if everything just broke when it died.

Hidden followed behind him, and he continued to move forward, slashing through the cobwebs as they pixelated around him. He definitely didn't like this, but the direction lead directly to where a blank spot on his map was, which he needed to cover. The girl asked what he did, and he was glad she was behind him. His face went dark with hatred, but he did his best not to let it affect his voice or his mood. He took a moment to compose himself, then let out a small breath.

"Nothing more than train. Trying to get stronger, yknow, the usual thing you gotta do to survive." He said with a slight chuckle in his tone. He slashed through and came across a dark room. He turned back to her and gave a finger over his lips, the universal sign for 'Be Quiet' and he walked in quietly. He didn't like the feeling of this, and wanted to be careful. He entered stealth and waited to see what he could find

She followed directly behind the man as he went through, clearing them a path, free of cobwebs. The area was beginning to get darker as they pushed on which made her curious of what they had at the end. Where he was going, she had no idea. He answered his question, but he spoke in a bit of a strange way. She felt a hint of emotion in it. Regret? Annoyance? She had little idea, but there was an emotion in his words. "Sounds boring" She told the man. If he had nothing to do either than train random floors, farming kills to get stronger, no wonder why he was occasionally bitter. He paused as they appeared to find some sort of dark room. He told her to be quiet and then melted into the shadows in front of her. She frowned and began to crouch, moving closer to the wall and much quieter. In seconds, the game registered her hiding and she felt the darkness shrouding her, but just barely. She needed to see what the man had found. Hopefully the two were alone. She had no idea where Hikoru had gone, but they were both hiding and scouting out this darkened room of shadows.

Hikoru watched around the room silently, and heard the sound of needle-like legs against the stone floor. He stopped and scanned the room, and saw a mother and father Spider laying eggs. He shuddered and realized how large they were, and if they truly had children that this would be a problem. He charged forward and attacked one of them quickly, flashing around and seeming to come from nowhere and bringing it down to almost half it's health. He let out a small sigh and looked around and saw Hidden nearby. He gave her a nod and moved to the side. He didn't like what these two spiders were trying to do, and it would give a curse to the rest of the players that did this quest if they came across this nest. He needed to stop it now before it got out of hand. He waited to see what Hidden would do, but he knew that she would do well if she played it safe.

She would scan around the room and find that two spiders sat in the room, obviously guarding a large egg sac. Ugh. She hated spiders with a passion. Hikoru was seen appearing from the darkness, striking one of the spiders. He looked at her with watching eyes, seeing what she would do. Her  target was clear from here. She would allow Hikoru to take on the spiders and she would take out the sac, moving to take out anything that could respawn the spiders. She darted forward, aiming at the egg sac. She was forced into a dodge  as one of the spiders lashed out at her temporarily. It would appear they were still conscious over the babies. She moved back and would have to take a more stealthy route then just darting in. She was good at combat, but she was not exceedingly good like she needed to be.  Her mods and dagger skills were not finished, something she thought about every single day.

Hidden chose to attack the egg sac, he gave a nod as she dodged a spider that went to attack her. They would still do their best to protect their young so their race would thrive. He wouldn't let that happen. Quick as a flash he attacked the Venomous spider he had struck previously. the word "CRITICAL" appeared before his eyes, and he gave a smile as the Blight and Envenom icons appeared above it's health bar. The thing would be left with very little health, and he knew that he could leave that one for Hidden. Now he could focus on the other one as it's signifigant other would slowly but surely lose it's health after a few rounds. He gave a small chuckle and dodged nimbly out of the way of both of their attacks. Their spirits were weakened, which would make it easier to end them. He waited for Hidden to make her next move before he went for another attack.

Hidden watched as Hikoru kept striking the one spider, bringing the spiders attention to himself. She snuck past the creatures and moved straight in at the sac. Her weapon took on an orange hue as she prepared herself. She made her attack. Her weapon slashed through the sac and began to tear apart its very shadow. It was her favorite sword art just for that special effect. She watched as the sac began to pulse violently, liquids seeped from it in a gushing motion. She had successfully began her sabotage. A shriek filled the room as the mother spider caught sight of her. It scuttled forward at her, foaming at the mouth. She quickly moved away, keeping light on her feet. She was proud of her quick nature and ability to move around such attacks. After she moved away enough distance from the spider, it began to turn its attention back to the attacking threat. Hikoru.

Hikoru watched Hidden land a critical on the Egg sac, and he nodded. She had almost killed the thing well. It should be good for now, and if he really needed to, he could finish it off with a basic attack. He looked at the weakened Venomous Spider and left it alone. It would die by its own accord. He gave a small sigh and attacked the other one, dealing almost a fourth of its health easily and efficiently. He dodged both of the spiders attacks, as they were focused on him instead of Hidden.

"Alright, aim for the weakened Spider. my DoT should wear it down drastically, so you should be able to finish it off. Leave the sac for now, I think were good." He said in a leader-like fashion. He was in charge of this mission, and it was his job to protect the girl and get her safely out of here. They could have left earlier, but his curiosity got the best of them and now they were stuck here. He didn't mind as it was an easy mission, but he waited to see what would happen next.

Hidden would watch as Hikoru would return his attention to the other spider that he had yet to attack. He expected her to begin to attack the first pider and finish it off. She gave him a slight nod and turned her attention from the egg sac to the spider. This creature would defend itself more, and fight back. This would mean it would be a dangerous opponent. She darted forward, her dagger becoming encased in an orange light. With HIkoru's DOT and her damage, it should fall rather easily. The spider managed to get sight of her last second, and began its attempt to counter her blow. She moved much quicker than it though. She thrust her dagger into key joints and the spider shuddered before falling to the ground. Her dagger had not added any additional effects, but it had made a point with dropping its health even farther into the hole. Hikoru could keep attacking the one he was, and she could finish this one.

Hikoru gave a nod as she attacked the spider he had left. She had done as she was told, and she would finish the thing off quickly for that. He focused back onto the venomous spider, attacking without mercy and dealing another cirtical blow, as it's spouse had been inflicted with. he had gotten lucky so far, and they would get through this fight rather quickly thanks to Limbo's Fang. He nodded to himself in thanks for the player who gave it, then focused back onto the battle. As long as the DoT stayed, they would slowly whittle down and be easy to kill. He dodged their attacks nimbly, and made sure that they kept their distance from Hidden, then he gripped his blade backwards, using a different fighting technique than once before. He didn't want to wear out his energy, so he decided against using Shadowed Path Sword Arts for now. He gave a sigh and waited to see Hidden's next move.

Hidden would watch as Hikoru would atttack once again, leaving his effects on the other spider. She knew that that certain spider would be dead shortly after the one she was attacking. Hikoru was a walking example of part of her soon to be power. She would be Hikoru's equal even before she maybe got her hands on a unique skill. She had plans, it was definitely going to take her some time to farm enough experience for it all though. She turned her attention back to the spider she was finishing off. She moved in as it appeared to be recovering from her last attack. She took it straight on this time, sneakingin and making a few quick slashes and thrusts to its main body. It dropped to a few slivers of health left. It would be finished by Hikoru's DOT soon enough.

Hikoru focused on the battle, he was now certain that Hidden would be okay, and he had faith that she would survive. He attacked the spider rapidly, and brought it's health down into the red zone. He had landed another critical, and he watched the DoT reset on the creature, and he knew that he would be done. The two spiders would be finished off by the DoT, and he sheathed his dagger, dodging an attack with a backflip away from their fangs. He sighed and gave a nod to Hidden.

"Finish off the Egg Sac now, they will die to the DoT soon enough." He said, and started to explore around the room, not worrying about the spiders at this point and time. They were dead, and their loot would drop around the same time, which could make it easier to divvy up and give out. He cut away at the webs and didn't find anything useful as of yet, but the architecture of the room was interesting, fallen angel statues littered and broken throughout the room, and murals along the walls. He wished he had a torch so he could see things clearly, or had the <<Night Vision>> Mod.

She would watch as Hikoru attacked the second spider, widdeling its health down to a very low point. He seemed rather sure of his status effects and left the spiders, commanding her to finish off the egg sac. She nodded to Hikoru and darted forward, dagger gleaming a dark orange. She neared the sac, but before she reached it she heard a shriek. Instantly, a glob of spider string slammed into her legs and knocked her to the ground. She made a groan of frustration before sitting up, examining her legs. They were stuck to the ground. She took her dagger and began to cut through the string, making a mental note that she couldn't just not pay attention to the spiders. They were still a threat to her as they lived and would continue to get in her way if she did not keep them in check. Hikoru was found examining a different area of the room, looking at what appeared to be relics from this distance.

Hikoru switched out his pendant for Shadow's Eye, when he heard a screech as both the spiders died. He went over and grabbed the loot, which wasn't much, and pocketed them to divvy out later. All that was left was the egg sac, which he decided to leave for Hidden to find. He continued to scrounge around the area to try and find a way out, that wasn't the way that they had previously come from. Because with their luck, the Banshee had respawned, and he didn't want to go through the hastle of that again. He moved a few boulders and cut a few webs, when he discovered a blocked up crawl. It seemed to be unused, no webs covering it or inside as far as he could tell, and there was light on the other end. At least, lighter than it was here. He unblocked the rest of it so they had a clear path through, and waited for Hidden to finish off the egg sac. That would be all that they had to do, then they would be on their way home.

Hidden watched as the two large spiders shattered from Hikoru's status effects. She held her dagger and slowly began to walk up to the egg sac. She was no unopposed as she walked straight up to it. She raised her dagger and preapred to finish the sac cleanly. Then, two spiders crawled out of the sac, about twice the size of a large tarantula. She stepped back as they pounced on her and then jumped off, crawling into cracks in the walls. She made an ugh sound before looking at Hikoru. "Give it a day or so, and I bet those things will be the same size as their parents" She stepped away from the egg sac, that was probably empty now. The spiders that had gotten out were probably not going to be as strong as their parents, due to the fact that their hatching process had been interupted. "Is there still point in destroying it?"

Hikoru looked and saw a few more spiders appear, then disappear into the walls. He shook his head in shame, as they hadn't fully completed the mission. She asked if there was a point in fighting the egg sac, and he shook his head no. That was probably all that would hatch, as the two he had seen were slightly deformed, and the rest that were probably in there wouldn't pose much of a problem, or were already dead. He pointed towards the crawlspace quietly, taking out the materials he had gotten and giving them to her.

"You have more need of these than I do. I'll be taking the col. I need to start saving up." He said with a small chuckle. He crouched down and looked one last time around him, then made his way into the crawl space. He could see the lighter area outside, and soon he appeared on the other side. He could see the town in the distance, and he gave a sigh and nodded to himself. He could head out and take a rest for the night, as he had worked hard on this. He looked back at Hidden and sighed. "Alright, I do believe were done here. Any last thing you need to talk about?"

Hidden looked to Hikoru and the man shook his head no. She sighed and followed him to the exit he had discovered. He sent a few materials her way and told her that he was keeping the col as he needed to save up. She rolled her eyes, but she guessed that he had done most of the work anyway, so he deserved it. The materials were Tier one, which was kinda upsetting, but it was better than nothing. He crawled out and she followed, moving with ease through the cramped area. Another perk of being smaller. He stood, looking in the distance. A town was seen in the distance and Hikoru paused on the sight of it. HE asked her if there was anything she needed to say before they departed. She dusted off her cloak and sheathed her dagger before shaking her had no. "I guess I will see you around then. Hopefully I will be of a little more use the next time you see me. Perhaps even be Tier two. That will help out my damage quite a bit" She gave the man a wave and began to head the opposite direction of the town he seemed to want to go to. She would give it a bit more time here before going back down to do another quest. Hikoru had took a few hours of her day, but there was still a few left.

Hikoru watched as she walked away, and he only gave a small sigh as she did so. She seemed much more distant, and much more hostile than she had once been. He supposed it was to happen though, people here were competetive, and him with his Unique Skill really made him a target for others to go for. He didn't blame them, he had something that some people really wanted, and he had just gotten lucky in his time here. He gave a sigh and opened up a shadow door beneath him. He would head towards the teleporter and go to train or relax, whichever he felt when he got there. He focused his exit point towards the back of a building that he usually met at, and soon disappeared into the ground beneath him, appearing behind where he invisioned and making his way towards the teleporter. He decided that he had earned a day off in that short time, and decided to go get a dink at one of the taverns on floor 20, see if he could run into any friends around there that would be around for a drink. He sighed and spoke quietly.

"Teleport, floor 20."
