History

Shimpi was born into a rich family with a brother, Levi Marello. When she was 2 her brother Helios was born, making her a middle child. She was home-schooled and often picked on for being spoiled as the middle child, but there was more than meets the eye for this young girl. At the age of 4 Shimpi began having horrible nightmares and being scared of sleep, and it only got worse in the next two years. At the age of 5 her parents where forced with the realization that she was not fit for public school. By the time she was six Shimpi was so sleep deprived that she could barely keep her eyes open through her fathers lessons, but wouldn't dare close them for a minute. Every time she lay asleep the hole household would shortly be woken by screaming or crying, so her parent made the difficult decision to send Shimpi off to an orphanage. The "Tuns of Fun" orphanage gladly excepted Shimpi with open arms, though they had no idea of her night terrors. Soon Shimpi was given her own room, far from the other children of the orphanage, but it wasn't long before more action was taken. The orphanage could not keep Shimpi any longer and by the age of 10 Shimpi was abandoned. Shimpi was forced to learn how to be quiet and keep her nightmares from getting the best of her. Eventually she was adopted by a poor woman named Jemima, who Shimpi called aunt, and loved like a blood mother. In the next 8 years of her life she learned about spectral magic and even learned to summon her own families, though only a small one, and at last the nightmares seemed to almost completely disappear, though sometimes... some nights, she still can't get rest, and she dares not to tell anyone of the dreams.

Virtues

Free: Shimpi is a free spirit. She is used to being neglected and unwanted, she chooses her own path and doesn't let people heavily influence her choices. Shimpi travels primarily alone and doesn't let people tie her down.
Caring: Shimpi doesn't wish harm on any innocent beings. She will often go out of her way to help people who cant help themselves, and even those who can. This is because she doesn't want to see others subjected to the treatment she has been.
Loyal: Shimpi doesn't lead people on. She is either your friend or shes not, and she would never even think about abandoning someone. She will occasionally grow over attached to her friends and sometimes seem clingy.

Flaws

Bipolar: Shimpi has rapid mood swings, and can sometimes come off as touchy because of this. While Shimpi is truly a understanding girl, some people cant see past her mood swings.
Trust issues: For obvious reasons (i.e being abandoned as a child) Shimpi finds it difficult to form strong relationships with some people. Sometimes she will not trust you no matter how logical you're being, or she just wont go along with your ideas.
Jealousy: Shimpi has a habit of competing for peoples attention, and sometimes she will get Jealous of others to accomplish this. She would never go as far as to harm someone over these feelings but could easily start a rumor if she felt is necessary.
