Shield didn't quite know what to say in regard to all of the materials being passed his way, but under the heat and given his need for the items in the first place, he did not start an argument over it.

"I'm glad you got something out of it as well," he replied, setting out at a quicker pace for the safe zone itself. "Truth be told, even with the Survival skill, it will be really nice to get away from the heat. And this floor in general, for a while."

As soon as they were inside of the walls, the wind died down. This meant less cool moving air to counteract the sun, but it also meant less airborne sand particles to pelt at their skin.

"Well, I wish you well in your ventures," Shield said as they approached the teleportation plaza. "Take care of yourself."

Such wishes always carried a little more weight here, just because of the very real danger that face players if they failed to do so. With a wave, he stepped into the teleportation gate.

"Floor eleven!"
